The negative reviews are placed by people who shouldn't store their belongings. If you don't pay your rent timely, expect to incur fees, and if you don't expect that customers will move pests in with their belongings (rodents, roaches, etc) then you're simply naive. Mariner does a great job of eradicating pests, but I prefer to store my belongings in plastic bins and well-sealed boxes, and absolutely no food goes in my storage unit, so I never experience pest issues here.

The check-in and return process was very smooth. The second was this weekend when I rented a 5x9 trailer to pick up a pallet of equipment.
