I can't describe how helpful these people have been, especially Dan, the manager. I was scared about going to a corporate place because most people at Staples, Office Depot, etc. don't even know the difference between a KB and MB. So, first off, these people are actual experts on photoshop, printing, design, everything. That was a major relief. Secondly, I had a major project I needed done and they stayed past their hours of operation to get it done at no extra cost. After requesting more copies about a month later, their reprints weren't of as high a caliber as before, but instead of being snarky towards me, they were apologetic and redid the entire order at no charge. These folks are first-class all the way and they are experts. Speak with Dan if you really want the most knowledgeable guy to work with, he'll set you up with everything and make your existing product better. I'm telling you, they know their stuff! read more

Very bad customer service, the girl who worked there is super rude. I feel bad for FedEx. Unfortunately there is no name printed on receipt that I do not have her name. Location is PMXK, Device ID -BTC01 Date is 11/11/2022 1pm. With this info, FedEx can find out who that rude staff is. read more

They do not back up their work. I had a job thru Canva. It was picked up by a messenger. when the job arrived, they did not print the second side. When I called the arrogant girl that picked up the phone after 15 things, said did you look at the job when you picked it up? if you accepted the order, it's yours. Never in my life has a company not taken responsibility for a job they did wrong. I will never send a job to FedEx for printing again. read more

The reviews for this place are spot on; the customer service is terrible. I called and spoke to the manager just asking him if he can please quote the shipment of 2 sets of golf clubs. He immediately transfers me to the 800 number. I call back as I do not want the 800 number auto system, and he says "I don't have the ability to quote shipping prices for you." When I remind him that FedEx ships things, he changes to say that since he doesn't have the item, he can't give me a quote. It's two sets of golf clubs, I gave him an estimated weight, and the zip code. That's all he needs. Either way, I ended the call with zero help from FedEx. I immediately called UPS in Needham Center and was helped by a super friendly guy who gave me a quote in under 2 minutes. He asked the weight, the zip code, and quoted me. Just wasn't that hard to do. Overall, save yourself the trouble and AVOID at all costs. read more

I would give negative stars. Do not let this store pack your valuables! My husbands Aunt passed a way and he needed to send many very old items ( 6 large boxes) Most of these belonged to her mother and grandmother. Since he could not package them he brought them in and asked them to do so. They were shipped from Boston to California. So many things were broken, it crazy. What kind of shipping company doesn't wrap glass items in bubble wrap and just throws them in a box. The blue platter pictured below was just thrown in the box. This is a very old platter from England. Now it's destroyed. A few boxes contained items wrapped in bubble wrap but items were wrapped together too loosely, so all we got was a lot of broken glass in bubble wrap. Rough Estimate over 100 items were broken from Hummel's to Silver Platters. How the hell do you break a silver platter? Don't know but they did. We will be pursuing this further. Who knows how we are going to claim this. But heads up on this Store. Extremely incompetent. read more

I came in to FedEx today irritated by the snow I had to plow in my driveway and the bad drivers on the way over. As SOON as I came in CARLOS put my heart at ease! As soon as I came in I was warmly greeted. Carlos was already on the job saving someone else's holiday season but he still made sure I was ok. So after I gave a haphazard explanation of what I needed, Carlos make quick work of it; taking care of my order in under 3 minutes. Both myself and the nice lady that was in front of me in line left with smiles on our faces! Hats off to Carlos for keeping GREAT customer service alive...regardless to how the weather, or traffic, may be outside! Next time ya come in, ask for Carlos and make sure to tell 'em Barber Walter sent ya! Cheers! read more

Started coming to this location due to proximity to my office location of choice (Starbucks!). After 4-5 visits, I feel it's about time for a review. First off, printing anywhere is relatively expensive for what it is. A print shop has an entire business location to pay rent on and equipment to upkeep... they have to pay for it somehow! Now, with that out of the way - it's important to note these guys do a relatively good job at maintaining quality services with a personal touch all under the guise of a corporate giant. The staff has always been cordial and accommodating whenever I've come in. You can use their online print software to send in a document, or email the local office directly. The online software is great for creating complex documents and presentations, but it overcharges you for just normal b&w printing on normal paper. If you email, it's about half the price. Not sure why the software is like that, I would assume it's a glitch. I have only used them for printing large documents or for special needs like nicer paper. Ever try to remember how the print collating and double sided printing works on your shitty home printer? Yea, you probably get it wrong everytime. You don't have to worry about that bs here. I haven't sent in any crazy presentations or anything of the like. However, I will definitely consider them for when I need to. I always see great examples that they put out on display to help you with idea generation. Anyways, props to Carlos for specifically being extra helpful when I messed an order up. They helped to make it right even though it was my fault. Thanks, you were the catalyst for this review! read more

I went to this office twice. The second time i went there, Carlos immediately recognized me and greeted me very friendly. He made sure my shipping needs were met comfortably. Because i was shipping the documents to a foreign country, i was a little bit puzzled about the writing of the address. He was very patient with me answering my many questions professionally. I appreciated his service very much! read more

Very bad experience trying to pickup my package. Checked online and saw that the store opens 7:30am. Arrived 8:45am just to find another customer waiting outside, telling me that they only open at 9am and that he learned that the night before when he tried to pickup his package just to find the store closed way before the online posted store hours. At 9:05 Carlos opened the doors and informed the waiting crowd that only customets 60+ could enter the store until 10am. There was no signage, nothing that could have saved us all wasting our time waiting. I called FedEx customer service to file a complain - and was told since im already there i should just wait another 45minutes. I asked to talk to a supervisor and this ended up to be too complicated - with the supervisor not being able to join the call. So much for customer service! read more

I got scolded by david the rep because he didnt like the boxing. I'm paying $16 per box to ship. He asked are you going to do this often? Im not- I'm not coming back. Never have been scolded for my packaging in the past at any other FedEx. Chestnut Hill location is hassle free. Eat Dirt - David & Needham Location. read more

The three employees working when I came in today were completely uninterested in helping me. No one greeted me, the employee closest to me took a phone call instead of helping me (the phone rang after she saw me and after I approached the front counter), and when she asked one of the other two employees to help me, one of them took her sweet old time coming to the front counter. When she did, she would not look at me or make eye contact and very rudely told me to walk over to a different counter. She was so unfriendly and projected a terrible, mean attitude for absolutely no reason. My mere presence seemed to have offended her. Yikes. People who behave like that for no reason clearly have issues. I will never use this location again. The set of employees I encountered were incredibly rude and bored. I will take my business elsewhere. Also--notice how the only good reviews are from people in NY and not even locals? Makes you wonder who's getting paid to amp up the overall rating of this place! It is horrible! read more

Terrible staff. My mother, who's a wonderful and active senior citizen, went here to do me a favor and send me some scanned documents. The man was very unhelpful and claimed he could not email the document and said my mother had to buy a flash drive. The document was easily e-mail-able as a compressed PDF - he just didn't want to give her the time of day. My mom went up the street to Staples and they were much more helpful, much cheaper and by far the better option. I recommend anyone do the same. read more

Wonderful service from Penny. After Staples messed up my $300 printing job, I went to Fedex in Needham and got wonderful service. Penny printed out one copy for me to review and my file had some problems which she promptly fixed. Highly recommended! read more

Joe at this location was extremely helpful and assisted me in designing exactly what I needed. We used this Fedex to print large images on posterboard for a work Halloween party. Competent, reliable, and friendly - we will be going back here again. read more

1 Star is more then this place even deserves! I came in to print a few photos and spent over an hour here. No one was helpful. One of the workers was helping me out then walked away to take a phone call and never came back. I've been on the computer for 40 minutes with all SEVEN employees standing around and giving me helpless looks instead of helping me. This place is horrible!!!!!!!! I want my money back! read more

Wow - the woman at the counter at this store was just about the rudest I've ever encountered at a retail establishment. She absolutely could not have cared less as to whether I was able to pick up the package I came for. There was a minor discrepancy on the name portion of the address label, and she just would not go a half-inch to help me - her attitude was, we're sending this package back to Italy. Finally, the shift supervisor, Penny, came over, I told her my story, she said, "no problem," and I got my package. That first woman was awful and should not be working with the public. read more

Horrible service. Just awful. The young woman working there on Sat. Nov, 7th at 4:30pm could not have been more rude or less helpful. She barely looked for my FedEx package, and then sent me to the 3rd Street location in Needham Heights. I drove to the Needham Heights location. I waited in line there for 15 minutes, only to be told that my package was at the original Chapel Street location. I drove back to Chapel Street and went to the young man working, while the young woman sulked behind the counter. Sure enough my package was there. He weakly apologized for the inconvenience. I asked the young woman if she had anything to say? She just stared at me, disinterested. Horrible service. Just awful. If anyone in management ever reads this, or even cares, check your shift schedule for Sat. 11/7 at 4:30pm. She was the only woman working. She needs some very, very basic customer service training. Horrible service. Just awful. I used to do a fair amount of business with FedEx....but never again. Worst service experience in years. Just awful. read more

Constant issues with pickups. I am not sure what the problem is, but every time a pickup is scheduled, there is almost always an exception. It's very strange because UPS and the USPS are able to complete pickups without issue, but Fed Ex always seems to have a problem. I would advise against shipping packages with them if you need pickup service. They are very unreliable. read more

Terrible, terrible service and unfortunately my experience there today was not an isolated incident - just the last straw for me. My UPS account will now get more of a workout than FedEx. read more

I work in retail and understand how stressful holiday season can be but the employees at this fedex location are completely unbearable. Not only are they incapable of helping customers with any shipping related questions, which seems strange given their chosen profession, but they're also incredibly rude. At first I thought that my experience may be just an isolated and unfortunate event but no! They treated everyone the way they treated me. How this location stays in business is beyond me. Went up the street to UPS afterwards where they are nice and competent! read more

We had the most exceptional service at this FedEx. They took on a complex project we planned to do ourselves and saved us all the time, did a masterful job, and kept it within our budget. Super helpful, engaging, and accommodating. I look forward to the next project I can bring here. Thank you, TJ! read more

Horror show! As the previous reviewer mentioned, Joe Sherman was totally awesome!! he was the only one who knew what he was doing, and as of this writing, I use "was" because he is no longer there. I am a professional graphic designer and rely on a local service for output about once or twice a week -- anything beyond my in-house capacities-- and I knew Joe understood the lingo and the industry. There is a new manager who doesn't know a thing about printing capabilities, left me hanging on the phone, then passed me across to a kid, who seemed to understand but gave me misinformation. After driving my files into the shop I was told (by that same kid) that he didn't know how to output large format and that I'd need to come back another day when someone else was working. I used to rely on this place regularly and I'd be hard pressed to even go there to mail a fedex package when there's a Main Fedex office just down the street on 2nd Ave. This is also the first review I've ever posted on Yelp, but it's that bad. read more

Negative Stars. Seriously, if you see a woman employee with long purple-ish hair, just turn around and walk back out the door. I have apparently been "banned" from FedEx (according to the woman behind the desk) after my terrible experience yesterday. I was trying to ship a wedding dress home to Dallas while in the Boston area and grabbed some tape under the label $2.50 (next to $8 tape) to finish up my box. Eventually, I was quoted $147 (?!?!?) for the dress to arrive in 5 - 10 days (with $100 insurance). You could literally buy a one way flight to Dallas and hand deliver the dress for less than that. So I told the purple hair lady that I would just pay for the tape. She tells me that the tape that I grabbed was $8 (rather than the $2.50 that it was labeled), demands that I pay $8 for it, and goes to find her manager. My response: Drop $3 on the counter, grab my dress, and bolt - not my problem that you mislabeled the price. Anyway, the lady chased me out of the store and told me that I was never welcome in a FedEx again and demanding $8. LOL. Literally the worst customer experience I have ever experienced. read more
