This facility is by far the worst fedex facility, your package takes a day or 2 to process normally at other facilities, not here, if your package shows up in tracy it will be stuck in a warehouse for a week before they decide to send it to you finally. I posted my displeasure with the Tracy, CA FedEX depot and their pathetic handling of my package delivery. Literally within minutes of my statement on Yelp, I received a note saying it was 'in transit' again, not in Tracy, CA anymore, and delivery would be today. Maybe someone in the Tracy depot monitors the Yelp site and saw my complaint. If I could give this place no stars I would! We have constantly had inconsistent horrible service from this location. Recently we had a package lost then had to contact the vendor and the new one was suppose to be delivered a week later but they lost that one and when we called they found it and we may not have ever got it if we didn't jump through hoops to find out where it was. Recently I had a package that was suppose to be delivered and the driver pulled up and drove off without making the delivery (a day late) and the status changed to return to sender, when I called to find out why they let me know the item I ordered was damaged beyond delivery so they had to return it to the vendor and I would need to contact the person I bought it from to see what needed to be done. Sad to say we get upset if we find out anything we order goes through FedEx and even more so if it ends up in the Tracy, Ca location. read more

Horrible! First stupid thing is their practice of assigning the same tracking number to multiple shipments. The most recent screwup was sending my shipment from Cincinnati to Modesto BACK to Cincinnati, then giving me one "updated" (delayed) delivery date after another. When trying to use their "status updates" service, the system is always down. This has happened more than once. I encourage every vendor that I use to AVOID FedEx. read more

I always dread when my package comes through this FedEx location. It always sits there for far too long. I tried to get Hello Fresh, but I could never get my food on time. A vendor sent me a box which required a signature for delivery. I missed the first attempt and received the email saying they would try again the next day. I was home then entire next day. No one rang but I received another email saying they had attempted delivery- not true. I called customer service and they apologized and said they would attempt again on Tuesday of the following week. I agreed to have them text me within 30 minutes so I was sure to be home and gave them my cell number. Later that day I received another email saying it would be delivered on Wednesday! The next day (saturday) I recieved another email saying it was out for delivery and would be delivered between 10:00-1:30. I was home until 12:45 but had my cell with me as I was just going a block away. No text, no call, no delivery. They then sent it back to the suppler!!!! WTH? Totally useless. And no email to complain to. You just have to call and talk to someone in distant country who clearly does nothing to help you. read more

Why this facility has not been placed under new management or completely shut down altogether is beyond me. My package has been "out for delivery" three days in a row now and then postponed for delivery to the next day. This is the second time this has happened. The first time was my frozen meat from Butcher Box. I had to contact Butcher Box in order to send another box as I am sure after 4 days of sitting in a warehouse everything had been defrosted and rotten. You would think the manager or Supervisor of this location would realize that packages are being lost and/or put behind more recent arrivals on the trucks. DO NOT TRUST THIS FACILITY. I ordered a TV through Walmart and unfortunately, they will only ship through FedEx. My package has been sitting at this facility for a week now. Called FedEx customer service three separate times to pick up my package since it is 30 minutes away from me, but at this point they tell me the package is lost. Customer service is extremely unhelpful, there is nothing they can do about my package. Every time they try to pass the problem onto someone else. There has been a spike of COVID cases at the Tracy warehouse. There are a number of drivers who have become infected and some are still delivering at this time! they have done nothing to sanitize or to help keep the spread of Covid down. What amazes me is the multiple on multiple complaints of "lost" packages, angry customers, and pending delivery dates. And yet! Somehow someway this Hub is still up an "operational". This places legit takes your packages, loses them, and or it's placed on a truck as they say. And like me and multiple other people when you ask them to pick it up.... They say no. I spoke to a lady who said oh you can't because it's on a truck or my favorite we are under construction, which is BS because I drove by there and no construction... shocking! lol this place lost not one but two bed frames of mine which I had to fight over a month to get a refund. Terrible facility to have delivery of large packages to go through. Took this facility 6 days to offload a trailer from another of their facilities. Tracking estimated dates changed multiple times. Other times a no date, delivery delayed was posted. Communication with representatives was like I was given the run around. Just a nightmare of a time tracking my item with their system. I wish I could give 0 stars! Their shipping from this center is absolutely ridiculous. I've had 2-3 packages the last few months get delayed by at least a week. I ordered something I needed for work, with a delivery date about a week and a half out from the time of my order (it was cutting it close but it would do). My package status showed as "in transit" at this facility yesterday, and it changed to "arrived" today. At the same time, the delivery date got changed to three days later than my original delivery date! Now it says I won't get it for another week, which is unacceptable because it's literally RIGHT THERE. This distribution hub is terrible...They have real management issues here. Even the drivers will tell you. Packages never get delivered on time if they go through Tracy. It is a disgrace. I have packages moving all the way across the county on time just to hit Tracy and be delayed. Everytime ...like clock work. This place is really bad. A little over a month ago, I had a package shipped to me that was only 88 miles away and it took 5 days to get to me. But, it doesn't stop there. I have a package that is stuck at this location and hasn't been delivered for about 7 days now. Customer service says that they have a case manager on it and I was supposed to get a call within 48 hours. Guess what? No call. Is that all? Nope. I have another package that was supposed to be delivered 3 days ago. It said it was out on the truck for delivery today, but then the status changed to say it's at the facility. Let's see if I get it. There have been other times that this has happened. But truthfully, even to this day, I have not received it. I did the same thing as everyone else...I called and spoke to agents and managers. Every time I have a package come through that site, it gets stuck there for days. This week a package from San Francisco arrived there on the 16th and didn't make it to Stockton for 7 days! Today I was expecting a package that was in Stockton last night set for delivery today and then it was transferred to Tracy and now it changed the status to pending! The tracy, ca hub is a blackhole. I've had packages go through there and disappear for weeks (only to be found later after lots of hassle to me). It's the bermuda triangle of packages. When I see one of my packages go through there, I implicitly add a week to the expected delivery date. If you considering WORKING HERE DONT! Management is very UNPROFESSIONAL, they sexual harass every girl there. They're supposed to hop in the trailer with you guys if they see you both need help yet they don't, they literally stand there watching you and tell you to hurry up . They give break after 1 hour of working which leave 3 1/2 to 4 1/2 hours left to work which is illegal, break is supposed to be after 3 hours. Management does not inform package handlers properly and timely about schedule changes or start times, so you can come in at 11:30 and management will say we started at 11 they just informed us..... big high school again. Some managers will mess with your time even mess with you just to see how much bs you can take, if you feel like fainting they have no consideration they say drink water keep your pace. Mind you the trailers get 110+ in heat. The warehouse is extremely hot once entering, and managers will not help you if you ask a question or were to go. I have had a package stuck in Tracy for over a month now, gone through the whole tracing protocol for my package, which is essentially just someone who calls me and reads me the same tracking info I can look at online. It got on a truck twice, was never delivered and the trace agent basically said to file a claim with who sent it because it's not coming. read more

i buy a lot of online stuff and every time it goes to fed ex i cringe. i know it wont get here on day scheduled. it goes to tracy ca and sits there. then they have a tracking it will be here today by end of day. bs never happens it sits in a truck til someone has to look for it. i call constantly and it isnt just ground any service hits tracy ca and way late. i just bought a rug from walmart the tracking said it would be here yesterday and it nows says potentially delayed no scheduled delivery date at this time. they should have put it on a truck for delivery today it is their fault it didnt arrive yesterday. sellers please dont use this horrible service. it as been this way long before covid so that excuse is invalid. poor management and rude management read more
