Stole my package!!! They have nothing but thieves here. Then attempted to gaslight me saying my package was lost. NO! It was stolen

The local Fedex Ground person for 27105 (Winston-Salem, NC) is horrible. I have asked all of my suppliers to switch to other shipping services. Not only do they say they attempt delivery, when our security cameras prove they never entered the parking lot, they also say items were delivered and signed for by people that are not even alive any longer. Complaints to Fedex corporate make no difference. They don't seem to care that their brand is being tarnished by a local route owner/driver. The very least they should do is provide proper training and perform drive alongs to try and fix some of these problems. I tell every business owner I know and do business with to stay away from using FedEx because the local FedEx Ground service is unreliable. read more

Just got cursed at by one of the employees delivering packages at my Apartment Complex after I asked him to deliver the packages to the correct doors instead of dumping them at the leasing office. No way to talk to a live human being. My package has been going back and forth to the wrong address after being reported by the shipper.

Waited for delivery as scheduled as signature was required. But when I went out to pick up my mail I saw a note on my door that they had attempted to deliver, but no one was home! Called the # on the note and was assured it would be delivered the next day. Waited all day long and still no delivery, not even an update on their site. Called again and was told by their automated system that there was no new date scheduled. Finally delivered the next afternoon. 3 days wasted thanks to FedEx. Was having a package delivered from this hub location in Fort Mill, SC. Got a notification that it was delivered, as soon as I received the notification I went to look for the package. Package wasn't there even looked at my neighbors house. So I called and made a complain, supervisor Brenda said she would contact the driver to see where the package was dropped off. Received a call from the driver who said he dropped the package off at 7505 which isn't my address 7509 is. Driver stated he would go back and retrieve the package to bring to me. Never happened, so I called and got the same supervisor Brenda who said I would need to contact the supplier and advise my package was miss delivered. I asked why should I have to do all the leg work. I said I reported it missing as soon as I got the notification. Your driver said he put it at the wrong address but now it's up to me to correct your mistake. What a joke of a company I bet if it was their package they wouldn't hesitate to find it. Needless to say FedEx has lost a customer I will do all my shopping with UPS from now on. read more

Had a package (my son's first big boy bed) that was supposed to be held for pickup at a FedEx location, but wasn't. FedEx.com via the tracking number said that it would be delivered on the next business day, but I waited for 2 days and the date of delivery kept getting pushed out. I then ended up getting a message that it would be returned to sender in Utah. I called the 1-800 number for FedEx, but they were useless. Said that it was getting sent back to sender and there was nothing I could do about it. So based on the tracking history, I took a chance and headed to the nearby FedEx Ground facility in hopes that someone could help me. What a nice experience I had. Patty (I believe that was her name) answered the intercom, heard my plea for assistance, and let me back to the offices. Then a young man named Austin was able to search for and identify that my package on a truck and requested that it be re-rerouted for home delivery. These drivers are incompetent and lazy. I have lived at the same apartment complex for one year, and cannot get a package delivered to my door. Drivers cannot read, or understand the address. Two times in one month I have had delivery drivers lie and say they attempted drop off and no one was home AND a dog was in the vicinity when I WATCHED her from my driveway. On other occasions, my husband has sat outside on the front stoop for two days straight for a package. I was suppose to be delivered my recliner on a Friday. My husband took off to accept delivery & flew home early! So we wait all morning...no driver! Then I see the driver returns it back to the warehouse at 1:18pm. WHY? now the tracking shows I'll get it on Monday. I'm disabled & my husband travels out of state weekly. So the Recliner will sit outside for the week unless someone calls me back to tell me where my spouse can go pick this up. read more

Although the drivers are frustrating because they rarely ever deliver inside to hotel I had a wonderful experience with a woman named Brenda Weddington after I was crying bc it showed my twin boys Christmas presents had already been dropped off but they were nowhere to be found. UPS is the best. FedEx has the worst customer service. I had called to let them know the shipper did not write my house address and could not deliver to my location. When the driver tried delivering to my house the first time, I could not answer. I tried calling the driver back several times when he called looking for my home. He never answered! I contacted customer service who told me to drive down to Fort Mill at their location, guess what, you cannot walk into their facility. Each time I called to find out status of my package, I received a different answer. I will only use vendors who use USPS and UPS. This is not the first time I had an issue. Need to rethink your process. I had to give it one star but they don't deserve that! read more

If I could give zero stars, I would. Last month, we were expecting a package containing medication for my disabled husband. A week after it was shipped, FedEx still had not delivered the package. After the third day of receiving a text message that it was scheduled for delivery that day (only to later receive a text that it had been delayed until the following day), I began calling FedEx. I was given a case number and TWO "customer advocates" ostensibly to assist me in getting my package delivered. Three days later, my daughter (who is a nurse and doesn't take "no" as an answer when it comes to her daddy) got on the phone and demanded to speak to increasingly "higher up" individuals in the chain of command. She finally reached someone who actually cared about my husband's medical needs. Within an hour, our package was at our door. I decided to avoid any businesses which ship through FedEx due to this issue. However, I needed supplies for our home and decided to give FedEx another try due to the least expensive online retailer using them to ship their goods. Well, here we are again. Our package was scheduled to arrive yesterday. After numerous calls to the corporate office, we finally learned that our package had been returned to the FedEx facility (this was a lie) due to "bad weather in the area." IT WAS BARELY SPRINKLING!!!!! Last I knew, humans weren't made of sugar, salt, or anything else that dissolves in water. So how can a few raindrops be considered "bad weather"?! (Our well (the day before yesterday) and heat pump (yesterday) had issues which needed repaired. The technicians performed the needed repairs IN THE RAIN. So why is it such an issue for a delivery driver to pull up beside our brick carport, leave the package in there, and be on his way?) The notations on the website were changed multiple times throughout the day, ranging from no one being home to receive the package (we were home all day!!) to a request being made for delivery to be postponed until today (By who?? Not by us.) During those numerous calls to the corporate office, one condescending customer service woman at a call center in Texas attempted to convince me that my package had never been scheduled to be delivered yesterday and it was never loaded on the truck; it was, in fact, at the Fort Mill, SC facility at that moment. I explained to her how I knew this was a lie. She then placed me on a lengthy hold, and upon her return, she reiterated the bad weather excuse. I told her that the forecast here is calling for rain for the next week and asked if this would mean I would not receive my package until the rain ends in the middle of next week. She sarcastically asked, "It's going to rain every day for the next week?" I replied, "Yes, Ma'am, that is what our forecast says." The woman then suggested that I could meet the FedEx driver in a public place to receive my package. SERIOUSLY?!?!?! If I could leave my husband alone long enough to pick up the items, then I wouldn't have ordered them online!! At this point, my daughter got involved again and demanded to speak to someone higher up than her. We were again placed on a lengthy hold, which lasted approximately 15 minutes. When the next woman finally answered the phone, my daughter explained the situation to her and the importance of receiving this package in a timely manner. The woman promised my daughter that she would be at work at 7am today and would personally ensure we receive it today. It is now 9:10am and still no call from anyone. Looks like another lie, to appease a very angry customer. I guess we should have expected this. At Christmas time, a driver insisted that the Ninja Foodi on her truck was not for us (it was my Christmas gift from my husband!). My daughter had to argue with her for several minutes before the driver finally released the Foodi to her. I placed an online order in early March. When it arrived badly damaged and leaking cleaning chemicals onto food items, I refused the package, causing the driver to give me an irritated look. We have learned that the Fort Mill, SC FedEx contracts with other shippers such as Pony Express, Priority Express, etc., meaning that my packages are in the hands of someone FedEx can't track or even contact. They have to contact the company itself, speak with a supervisor, and request that the supervisor contact their driver and report back to the FedEx customer service agent. The information associated with the tracking number for my package says FedEx will be delivering it - not another company. (On a side note, as I was typing this, I received a text message that my package is scheduled to be delivered today. We'll see if the driver decides we are worthy of receiving it today...) read more
