Selection is decent in all honesty, but the prices are not. And I find it to be a hole in the wall, and unkept.

This space hosted our boozy book club and it was a great time! Lee took great care of us keeping…read moreour glasses full and giving lots of amazing suggestions! She was wonderful! We lucked out---the predicted rain held out so we could enjoy a beautiful night on this stunning roof top. I honestly can think of a prettier space in providence. So glad we got to enjoy a night here.

Contrary to the other reviews of the service here, I received a warm welcome walking into the store…read moreand was immediately attended to by both working gentlemen. I had a few items already in mind so it didn't take long for them to locate them for me. When asked about some very specific New York style Gin, they immediately told me that that was something they didn't carry but would be willing to source if I were to call ahead before visiting again. I really appreciated that offer and may take them up on that next time since Providence is still a much closer drive than upstate New York. I guess what really fascinated me about this place more than the wines stocked on the shelves was the fact that this used to be a purveyor/architect's office/storage where they stored their blueprints. As such, the shelves where all these simple fine wines rest on were once holding blueprints for buildings nearby. It made the whole store look extremely unique and similar to a library that had books up to the ceiling. I'll definitely be back to visit when in the area again. NOTE: They also carry a few nice NA beers and mocktails as well as drinks with THC.

Family owned business in the heart of the West End…read more 1. Wonderful selection of beers and wines for such a small place. 2. Extremely helpful and friendly staff/owners. 3. It's a bright space, it's not a dingy corner liquor store. You won't run into any "riff raff" outside w being harassed etc. (note: this is my neighborhood and neighborhood riff raff doesn't bother met outside of other liquor stores, I'm just being matter of fact about if you'd like to avoid any hassles outside. 4. Being newer to the neighborhood. I love that let me go in there and practice my Spanish knowing that I still suck at it but I'm trying. One of the owners today taught me how to say so many different things when it came the liquor/beer business even though he was busy. It's a neighborhood business! They are here for all neighbors. I always feel welcome here. Thank you for your assistance always guys and gals who work here. Love, The chubby gringo who tries to speak broken Spanish (just to practice) every time he comes in there. Love Reyes liquors. Best shop in town.

Reyes Liquors has an appropriate selection of booze given the neighborhood…read more By appropriate, and suspending judgment (to each their own), here's a sample list of the very wide variety of selection and quality you can find here: Foolproof, Colt 45 malt liquor, Shipyard, Arbor Mist, Peak Organic, Sutter Home White Zinfandel, Moët & Chandon Rose Imperial, Casillero del Diablo, Jäger (ok fine. I judge the Jäger). I personally think you'll get a really bad hangover from a lot of the options here (esp. the wine), but the craft beer selection is surprisingly good and I love the mix-a-six. What I don't like about this place is that sometimes the pricing seems out of whack with alternatives, the price labeling can be better (there's been times I'd have to wait in line to get the register to scan an item to understand cost), and the parking situation can be a major cluster with patrons haphazardly blocking the road and private lot (common sense people, TRIPLE parking on the street and sidewalk and/or blocking the lot entrance in your car is rude!). I like Reyes Liquors just fine, I just wouldn't feel compelled to make a special visit if I wasn't already in the neighborhood.

My first visit to Riffraff was for a book signing last weekend, but it won't be my last. I truly…read morelove the concept of this well stocked bookstore that is also a coffee shop and...get this...A BAR! The space is divided in two parts: The bookstore area and the cafe/lounge space. This is the perfect place to host a book signing or an open mic and intimate in the best way....cozy, but not crowded. It was daytime when I went, so there were plenty of pastries on display and they all looked amazing. The coffee and bar spirit selection were excellent, but I opted for a mocktail and was not disappointed I can't wait to come back and definitely want to go for one of their summer film nights in the courtyard. The movie schedule looks top-tier.

The location was a tad intimidating for me as a typical shy girl, but park at the spot inside the business, and walk towards the inner section, passing a clinic and the Troop. Didn't have time to browse too much, but I noticed others were here to study and work too~ we all seemed to be on the save vibe or getting work down. WiFi is such a cool password made me chuckle. Will come again when I'm the area.

5 Stars for a win and spirits shop that features truly great and special natural wines and brands…read more I was looking for a good natural wine bottle shop while visiting the area and am so glad that Yelp directed me to Campus Fine Wines. The name would've led me to believe it would cater to the college crowd and might have cheap grocery store wines, but that wasn't the case at all. The staff was wonderful and helped us find a couple of good bottles of low-intervention wine and we also grabbed a vermouth for martinis later. Their selections are curated and fit our taste to a T! Big fan and I'd definitely be back when in town!

I've officially converted to a Campus Fine Wines loyalist…read more It's always a joy to visit the store & ask the staff (especially Michael!) for wine recommendations. They're knowledgeable, fun, & very willing to work within your budget & taste preferences. For a relatively small store, they have quite a varied selection of wine. I popped in to the store last night while I was waiting for my sushi order to be ready for takeout just down the road. Imagine my unbridled delight when I saw a section of the refrigerated wines labeled as "Wine For Sushi & Spicy!" I actually laughed out loud. Precisely what I was looking for, & didn't even need to ask. I went with a Grüner Veltliner & it was, as expected, delicious with my sushi. Thank you, Campus Fine Wines, for your excellent selection, great staff, & always having exactly what I need.
