I am really sorry to do this ... I truly, truly am ... because I hate to besmirch a locally owned…read morebusiness but the prices here are just absolutely fucking bananas! I get that EG is a pretty expensive town ... and normally I don't mind paying a little extra to support a local business but there are bottles of spirits in here that are $20 higher than other liquor stores for the same thing!!! Literallyz I paid $20 more than Haxton's in Warwick for the same item! That is a sort of extreme case ... but on average expect to pay $10 more for any bottle of liquor ... and $4 - $5 more for any 6 pack of craft beer than any other store in the area. Forget about comparing this place to a Total Wine, you can literally save 40% on most items shopping there vs. here. I honestly don't think I've ever seen prices this high on liquor/wine ... Not in midtown Manhattan. Not in my home of West Hollywood, CA. I won't be totally brutish ... they do have a very nicely curated selection of wines and spirits here. You aren't going to find any allocated items here ... No Weller, No Blanton's, No Pappy, etc. but they have a decent selection of bourbon, spirits and a huge amount of pre-mixed cocktails and mixers. They have craft beer ... local and far away brands ... fancy ciders, saki and other interesting but niche selections of expensive single craft bottles. The store is immaculately clean and organized well. It may be the most expensive liquor store I've ever been in but it's also maybe the most well organized. The staff isn't particularly interested in going out of their way to help you. But, if you ask them a question about wines, etc. they will make some good recommendations if they aren't too busy doing something else. I will end by saying that I was in a rush to buy liquor and wine for a dinner party that my house hosts were having. I wasn't looking too carefully at the receipt because I figured everything was just so expensive, it is what it is. However, when I got home, I found out one of the bottles I bought must have been put in the wrong place. They charged me $84 for a bottle that costs $59 anywhere else. It was next to a sign that said $65. For 8 bottles of liquor and wine and a 4-pack of craft beer, I paid more than I did for my first car in 2005. Not even kidding.

Its in a nice little spot, there was plenty of parking and the space is clearly new which you notice in a nice clean newly paved parking lot. I like when I walked in- there is a small entry - you're not thrown into a big space. I wasn't expecting table service at a brewery - even with a full menu - that was a nice surprise. Our server did have a slight lag where we were thinking wheeerrrrrre did he go? But the rest of the night he was on top of things. I ordered poutine and a couple of beers. The poutine was good - I like shoestring fries. But I have one beloved former RI restaurants poutine taking up too big a space in my heart still, and this didn't quite hit that. But it was a good snack. Great serving size. We sat in a small alcove with like 4 - 4 top tables. I dig the decorations. Christmas lights are festive and fun. The bar looked decently busy for a wednesday evening - but the acoustics inside work well and it didn't feel noisy or distracting. I got the Cohesive (American IPA) and def enjoyed it. Balanced, not too hoppy, crisp.

There's bar seating, tables, outdoor space, and even fire pits, and the overall atmosphere is spot on. We didn't love our particular table - we were seated right where people line up to order beer, so it felt like they were basically standing at our table. If I went back, I'd probably ask to sit somewhere else or just grab a seat at the bar. The beer was decent, with about 8-10 varieties on tap. You can tell this is a local favorite. What a great place to meet up and connect with friends! Definitely worth checking out.

They have a large variety of whiskeys, wines, and most other beverages you find at a liquor store. We had pleasant interactions with staff during our visit. One person stocking shelves helped me to find the Vermouth by walking with me over to the area, (not just pointing) and the cashiers were friendly and chatty. Staff and customers were masked up during this visit and there is plexiglass at the registers. The parking lot has plenty of spaces and there are carriages inside if you have a large order to purchase. It is a bit tough getting these carts in and out of the shop, so be prepared to need a bit of help with the two sets of doors, or bring help to carry the packages out of the shop. There are many places to buy your drink making supplies, and if you are looking for a wide selection and good prices, give Joyal's a try. It's the booze you are coming for, not the ambiance and they've got the goods.

Out of the 10 or so, they had half of them. That's the best I've found so far as most of the places I've gone have had none of them. I had a few questions about my price point and options and the young guy working there sure seemed to know his stuff. Very friendly & knowledgeable, don't let those tattoos scare you. ;-)

Cheese is sourced from around the region, country and world. A curated selection of wine from OR, WA, NY state plus others, as well as other countries. We spent a good deal of time look at everything! Lots of items here would make wonderful gifts. There is a selection of drink coasters with whimsical writings. A variety of flavored oils. Cheese boards, bowls, gift sets. You definitely need time to take in everything available. In the small refrigerator is a selection of beers, salami, pepperoni, olives and in a small basket little bites of cheese pre-cut and wrapped, ready to go. We grabbed a few of these, crackers, honey, and with items already at home I made myself a tasty, cheesy lunch spread. The cheese selection is unlike anything you'll find at the local grocery. Cheese soaked in gin, bitters and vermouth. Creamy wensleydale with fig and honey. Espresso rubbed cheese. So many options it's hard to choose. Hence, the small samples. But no worries, you want to try a taste before purchase? They are happy to let you try before you buy. We also picked up some of the Ricotta Limone. SO. Good. We left with a variety of products to try. Prices are reflective of the quality. I am already thinking of friends who would appreciate this level of quality and variety of selection for both gifts and gatherings. Bon appetite!

Be warned, it's on the more expensive side for dining and may be a coin toss for "is it worth it" for those that enjoy a night out but also looking for value. Food was a mixed bag for us.... Starting with the smashburger was genuinely disappointing as the burger itself was dry and advertised as a "French onion" smashburger that failed to deliver any of the rich, savory flavor we expected with a name like "French onion smashburger". The hot honey Mac and cheese was very good and flavorful... The hot being more of a vinegary heat than I expected but the cream sauce was rich. Speaking of value earlier.... Smashburger was $20 and the Mac and cheese was $28. Entrees were $10-15 more it seemed but previous reviews all spoke highly of the entrees and would want to try them if we visit again. The overall service experience was disappointing for us. Not for the demeanor of the staff but everything else... We had a decent size group of 8 (5 adults and 3 kids) and was fortunate to have a dining room to help the kids burn some energy while not bothering the other diners. However, from ordering to entrees to arrive was 45 very hungry minutes. It also took 20+ mins just to get drinks. Once the food arrived, they also were short two of the kids meals which was thankfully corrected quick. We then were somewhat "gently" being asked to wrap things up by 3 staff members in 10 mins making the rounds to clear plates and any to go containers. We all understand the business in the food industry and turning tables, and trust me, after an hour from arriving to food on the table we wanted to get home for bed time. However, really sours the experience and would not advocate going here with large groups.... Between the kitchen and staff I can't say you'd have a guaranteed good time.
