Aside from the prices, what I like about this place is that the folks who work there are not only knowledgeable about their products, but they are also super friendly, giving the place a small shop feel. The selection is great and if they don't have something the turn-around on special orders is pretty quick. I am particularly happy with them today because I found that they carried a cider I fell in love with in Iceland. :)

This is all with top notch customer service to boot. We come to browse there just because K.P. and the other employees make it feel like "our liquor store home" for, er, want of a better analogy. As long as I'm in the New England area, Jay's will be my primary liquor store. He took a swig from the bottle to taste it and so did a friend of his that was also there. How unprofessional! Right in front of customers! She was able to finally exchange it for something else after putting up a fight. She's also seem them drinking in the back room and there's always an aroma of marijuana too. Can't even imagine what else they do in that back room. This place needs to be raided. They'd probably take some drugs off the street if they did. Very shady characters are always hanging out there. She won't be going back. Not the kind of place to do business with.
