Aside from the prices, what I like about this place is that the folks who work there are not only knowledgeable about their products, but they are also super friendly, giving the place a small shop feel. The selection is great and if they don't have something the turn-around on special orders is pretty quick. I am particularly happy with them today because I found that they carried a cider I fell in love with in Iceland. :)

K.P. and the crew at Jay's are so knowledgeable, fair and kind, keeping in mind what you like and what may be interesting to you from their new shipments after you've come in a couple of times. They will make suggestions and try to save bottles for you depending on what you tell them you like. They have everything you need for parties in terms of hard seltzer, beer, wine, and mixers but they also have loads of very rare, highly desirable bottles with very reasonable prices for everything. This is all with top notch customer service to boot. We come to browse there just because K.P. and the other employees make it feel like "our liquor store home" for, er, want of a better analogy. As long as I'm in the New England area, Jay's will be my primary liquor store. There's no store that better straddles your needs for classy liquor and practical high volume purchases (I'm looking at you, White Claw Rose boxes). It's really the best-go check it out.

Can't even imagine what else they do in that back room. This place needs to be raided. They'd probably take some drugs off the street if they did. Very shady characters are always hanging out there.
