    individual beers in refrigerator

I love this little shop on Westminster! They have a great selection of wine if that's your thing but I'm more into beer. It's not the cheapest beer you will find around town but for small runs and convenience it works. It's definitely more of a place to get some specialty items and explore.

This is an incredible store! The endless shelves of wine seem like something out of a magical book, and I did not recognize a single label, which is impressive! I think this store would be the perfect spot to find a special bottle of wine for your wine loving friend or for your next dinner party where you want to impress! They also have other drinks available, like beer, mead, and mixed drinks in the coolers. My question is - what don't they have here?! The staff was so friendly and helpful. We were there at a time where there was a free tasting and enjoyed every minute!

So happy we stumbled upon this wine shop! Not pretentious at all. We were greeted warmly and given an array of options in all price ranges based on our interest and different grapes we wanted to try. They also have a roof! Tastings! And an email list you can sign up for information of events. Definitely give them a try!

Great wine store, they know all there is to know about wine! Just come in with a basic idea of what you want and they can take it from there!

Don't know why they're still doing this!

I never got the chance to go into the store. They won't let you in unless you put a mask on. I guess they don't need the business. Don't waste a trip there unless you love wearing a mask!

Brooklyn in the house. Or at least the window.

Nothing makes me feel more at home than copious amounts of alcohol. Perhaps that's why, when I'm out of town, I feel the need to stop by a local liquor store and scope it out. Eno Fine Wine makes me feel more at home than most; not only because of the impeccable and friendly service, but also because they've got nothing but Brooklyn (the eponymous brewery and Sixpoint both represented) in the window signage, and the excellent Jack From Brooklyn Sorel on the shelves. Throw in a very surprisingly extensive and quality selection of whiskey and every other spirit, and I don't know why you'd shop anywhere else in PVD.

    Natty wine!

The beer selection is a little more limited to somewhere like Bottles or Yankee Spirits, but perhaps that's just because it's a smaller space.

My friend knows much more about wine than I do, so he was the decision maker for our wine choices and we ordered a 1/2 bottle of red which we both found to be very delicious. Of course, we had to try some food too and the small bites menu was perfect with something to satisfy nearly every taste. We opted for the meat charcuterie, and it was beautifully presented with enough for the two of us to share. There is also a cheese charcuterie on the menu, but unfortunately there is not an option for a combined meat and cheese plate. We sat, sipped, and tasted for a while and never felt rushed. The atmosphere was so comfortable and we'll definitely consider going back here again.

I didn't have the best time at Providence Wine Bar…read more This might sound a little haughty, but hear me out: I can drink wine at home. I can browse a liquor store & pick out a bottle that exactly fits my preferences, my mood, & my budget. I can bring it home & uncork the wine, checking the cork for freshness. I can pull out my special glassware & pour myself a glass of wine & enjoy it on my own couch. So why go out to a wine bar, if not for the wine? For me, it's for the ambience & the experience. Both of those things at Providence Wine Bar were lacking. The lights were too bright (overhead & fluorescent) & the music was too loud (& just bad). The employees seemed both bored & nervous, with not much to do to occupy themselves. I was one of the only people in the bar, so I felt like I was under scrutiny - I'm certain this wasn't intentional but it was unfortunately how it came across. I brought a book but couldn't focus because of the lights & the music. I even caught myself with my fingers in my ears, trying to muffle the sounds of 2010s hyper pop. I have nothing against 2010s hyperpop, it's just that there's a time & place for everything, & maybe that isn't at a wine bar at 8 PM on a Wednesday. I just wanted to be done with my glass of wine so that I could leave. All of that being said, I wish them the best. It seems like they need a good manager's touch.

I judge the Jäger). I personally think you'll get a really bad hangover from a lot of the options here (esp. the wine), but the craft beer selection is surprisingly good and I love the mix-a-six. What I don't like about this place is that sometimes the pricing seems out of whack with alternatives, the price labeling can be better (there's been times I'd have to wait in line to get the register to scan an item to understand cost), and the parking situation can be a major cluster with patrons haphazardly blocking the road and private lot (common sense people, TRIPLE parking on the street and sidewalk and/or blocking the lot entrance in your car is rude!). I like Reyes Liquors just fine, I just wouldn't feel compelled to make a special visit if I wasn't already in the neighborhood.

It's located behind the first brick building in a sort of courtyard place up a ramp. Knowing that they were #107 helped. RiffRaff doesn't know what it wants to be. Is it a bar? Is it a bookstore? It wants to be both and successfully does neither. The place lacks a coherence to it. It's starkly divided into Bar an Bookstore, and the lighting is abhorrent on both sides. They want you to read here, but there's only seating in the bar area, which is pitch black except for an ugly neon blue sign. So I don't know how one could do that without straining their eyesight. I'm not a drinker, so I can't tell you about the bar, but the selection of books was sad and clearly curated for a very particular audience. Which is fine if you're boring. I'm boring. I like the occasional high brow literary BS. But I also like to see things explode and for there to be monsters. None of that here because RiffRaff is too cool, apparently. Book prices seemed reasonable, but nothing was interesting to me. Also, it was too hot in there and they were playing some awful nonsense bass music that was just thumping and made everyone talk too loud. I probably won't come back here unless I'm meeting up with someone. RiffRaff would do so much better with real lights and an open concept vibe and more books. I don't want to sit and read or write in a dirty bar.
