My husband called these guys to do some electrical (and other) complicated work on our wall-mounted wide screen TV. They were fantastic! They were totally professional, efficient, knowledgeable, and virtually every part of our interaction with them, from the first phone call to the paying of the bill, was excellent. The company's owner, Matt Luchetti, worked for Tweeters (which went out of business). So there was a vacancy in the state for such a company, and Matt decided to take matters into his own hands and fill the gap caused by Tweeters' closing. He did a GOOD thing, and has grown his fine company into one that sells and services more types of home theatre equipment and products than I actually know the names of! :-). I think a lot of people in RI are already customers of Federal Hill Home Theaters, but for those who don't know about this company, I am Yelping to let everyone know that if you're looking for a company of this type, one that you can trust, and with whom you can feel confident that the owner and his staff seriously know what they are doing, this is the company to call, and Matt is your man! It's really refreshing to come across people who love what they do, do it well, and are nice, honest and reliable to boot! Highly recommend Federal Hill Home Theatre (NB They are located in Cranston now - they USED to be on Federal Hill!) read more

If only you could rate zero stars. My experience wasn't directly with their electronic services, but with a sub-business called The Studios, an event space this company owned. I wish I had investigated further before I finished paying to rent a space that we were never let into. If I saw these reviews, I wouldn't have continued to do business with someone so untrustworthy worthy. They have other companies too. Stay away. read more

They were completely unprofessional. they constantly changed dates and times when they would arrive. They never installed our speakers, which we paid for, and then wouldn't refund our money. ignored many calls and texts. Do not use them! read more

Terrible communication and customer service. Still have not reimbursed me (after months and repeated requests) for audio speakers that were to be part of the project but never arrived. read more

Experienced. Skilled. Professional. Small local business with only one crew so you might be waiting a while for an appointment like we did. But they did an awesome job mounting our tv over the fireplace and installing the power bridge wiring! Thanks FHHT! read more

Matt, I have to say you and your crew are First class!! Your girl knew the situation, and is super sweet and nice. I listened to her help another customer and she was so knowledgeable, helpful amd amazing. While o was waiting, she helped a customer that came down and purchased some items from Bridgewater Ma because you sponsored an Motorcross event which I saw you do and I follow your page on Facebook. You support local events and it showed why they support you. You now have a customer for life, people of their word and helping out locals means everything. Merry Christmas, thank you read more

I requested Federal Hill Home Theaters to mount a TV above my fireplace and they were extremely helpful, knowledgeable, and professional. They answered all my questions and were adaptable when faced with obstacles in the house. I definitely recommend Federal Hill Home Theaters!! read more

What started as an exciting 50th Birthday gift for my husband literally turned into a nightmare. We went with them blindly on the recommendation of a friend. From the onset, the level of service was poor, no return calls, no return emails, only wanting to communicate by text. Did not hold up their end of the contract, including mixing up product, and charge change order fees and re-stocking fees! Matt is the least professional person I have ever met, talking badly about my electrician who went over and above, talking badly about me to my contractor's employees, and on and on. I would never recommend or do business with this company and I highly recommend you don't either. read more

FHHT has THE BEST customer service along with a strong dedication to their craft. Very knowledgeable as well. The amount of sponsorship and support that they give the Motorsports community is unparalleled. They are responsible for the the success of a lot of New England racers through their support. Top notch group at FHHT! read more

Wow! I thought I knew enough about home theaters to do everything myself...not! The technology is changing so fast it's almost impossible to keep up with all the new features...and how they all work together. Matthew and his team are amazing. They have a deep understanding of all the components of a home theater system and make sure they configure a system that A) sounds awesome and B) meets your needs and budget. Their work is very professional and is reasonably priced. To top it off, they don't "upsell you", pushing more expensive products to pad their bill. I can honestly say they act more as consultants rather then salespeople. I highly recommend these guys. read more

Best customer service and very knowledgeable staff. Bought a blue ray player and will be back for some speakers. I will always go to them when I have audio/video needs. read more

Matt and Nick were wonderful! They were referred to me by my son and my electrician. They installed an outlet and mounted a tv in a difficult location over my fireplace. They were professional, prompt, and polite. I would definitely recommend them. read more

Excellent service, installation and follow-up. Matt and team are wonderful! Highly recommend! Budget friendly too

Matt Lucchetti (Owner) is a real professional. Very courteous, prompt, fair in pricing and extremely knowledgeable in his field. I would highly recommend this business! I already have! read more

Bought a speaker system but the first problem we had two techs show up scratch their head do nothing and charge 120.00 for a "service call." Never really got the system working properly but why waste cash on clueless techs. The speakers themselves are decent but not great with one not even working properly. A friend got things working better and all he was happy with a beer. Also once the sale and installation was made they disappeared without a follow-up. read more

Do not use this business! I would use another company or google the installation processes yourself. My husband and I hired Federal Hill Home Theaters to do a project at our home and they did not do anything as we discussed. More importantly, once my check was cashed, we could not get anyone to discuss the issues or come out to fix them. read more

Dishonest and lacking integrity. Profess to be experts which is far from the case; Certainly overpriced. Once they cash your check (which is moments after you sign it) you'll not receive corrective service without a charge. You would be better served using Best Buy's geek squad or installing yourself; that's the extent of their expertise. Zero stars is what they deserve but single star is the lowest possible rating. read more

The guys from FHHT just wall-mounted a TV above my fireplace today. Can't recommend them highly enough. Extremely prompt in responding to inquiries, professional, knowledgable and courteous. The work was top quality and demonstrated good value. Thanks guys, i will definitely be calling on you again... read more

DO NOT USE! Take your business elsewhere - overpriced, incompetent, and dishonest. I hired Federal Hill Home Theaters to complete a project at my home and they accomplished nothing that was discussed. They were nowhere to be found upon my calling to have the situation rectified. read more

Completely botched our project and totally misrepresented their knowledge and abilities. Took our money and were nowhere to be found afterward. read more

Matt and his crew are excellent. I own a real estate company and have seen the good the bad and the ugly and Federal Hill Home Theaters is beyond GREAT! I recommend them to everyone I come across who has tvs they want to hang or when I go to homes with wires hanging everywhere. Im very picky and have OCD and these guys clean up after themselves measure 3 times and cut once. I trust them alone which is another great thing. Very Honest, Great Company, and they stand behind what they do. I will never use another company. Great job Matt and crew keep up the great work! read more
