Bless this places heart. Went here one evening during the week around 8pm (they close at 9pm). I drive up to order and no one answers. Then I see one of their staff follow another staff out. I am assuming the one staff quit or got into it with another staff member. Meanwhile, I'm still sitting there asking if anyone is there, hello, etc. Five minutes later, I drive around and I see about 5 employees all sitting there talking in a circle right in the middle of the kitchen in front of the pick up window. So RUDE and UNPROFESSIONAL. Never again, and they wonder why these franchises are closing down left and right. Do Better!!! read more

(this review is just my personal opinion) So, there are many Italian restaurants out there, and this place is one of them. Fazoli's is a place that is so delicious, you get a habit of eating it, for example, the pizza there is AMAZING, like where the cheese and the pepperoni blend perfectly into the pizza, and the pasta is still very good and homemade. I have ordered the senior dinner from FAZOLI'S on Wednesday several times and NEVER had an issue! today I ordered the same 4 baked speghetti and 1 fettuccine from my car to take home to the family at home . husband , sister in law, and mother who all live with me in same house and the lady rudely and loudly said " are all the seniors in the car with you" when i said no I am taking it home she was sooooo rude and said I was breaking the rules . Ordered a variety from Fazoli's as we were wanting to have left overs for the next day. The pizza resembled gas station pizza, lasagna was horrible, fettuccine Alfredo was the worst I have ever tasted, the spaghetti was marginal at best. The salads we received were fine as they were lettuce, cheese and dressing (hard to mess that up). The only reason for the extra star is their customer service. The people who work there are some of the kindest, most polite and helpful staff that I have come across. It makes me sad for them that they have to serve such subpar product. Traveling 300 days a year I've driven by Fazoli's an endless number of times. Most of my Southern friends have told me the food is subpar here so I'd avoided it. Meanwhile, after staying four nights in Cookeville, we opted to give this place a chance and likely wouldn't return. In our view the flavor doesn't rival the great value. To us, Olive Garden is average, at best, and down the street, of course. If that statement is true, Fazoli's is below average. Meanwhile, for those looking for value, quick turnaround and fast-food style Italian, you'll think this place is ok. However, if it's real Italian and fresh homemade entrees you're after, be prepared to be disappointed. While the pizza rivals gas station pizza, the salads are edible and well priced. I tried the Italian House Salad and it wasn't bad. Don't expect homemade dressing, however. This is like McDonald's and comes prepacked. All of their salads are fine, for fast food style restaurants, but for example, the salads at Chick-fil-A down the street are superior. My advice would be to keep it simple. The spaghetti and meatballs with meat sauce is fair and close to something you'd order at Olive Garden (by the way, I don't believe Olive Garden is quality food, rather something nearby to compare it to). The Twice Baked Lasagna we ordered wasn't very good. If you're going to come here stick with the pasta dishes. They'll come out quick, taste fair and keep enough money in your pocket for a better meal down the road. read more

Drive thru slow at lunch. Employee very nice. Threw in extra bread for the "wait". Low calorie pasta serving was about the size of a frozen dinner. Ordered chicken mushroom alfredo. Served on bowtie pasta. Cheese was imitation and low quality. Since I make everything at home, I know now that I will and can make an alfredo that is richer and better. Oh, well. Not terrible you get good food at a good price but that's it it's just good but it is fast food Italian. I wish it was a bit more flavorful and they didn't do the pizza slice it's just not good at all, I do love the cheesecakes I normally try a new one every time one comes out the pumpkin one is delicious chocolate always great and the regular New York is good. read more

We were looking for a quick and cheap meal after being on the road all day. We've never eaten at a Fazoli's before but now we are looking for one closer to our home town! This meal was honestly just as satisfying as Olive Garden, plus I got to use all the parm i wanted with out the pressure to say stop! my son had the kids ravioli and loved every bite. My mother and I had the baked classic and it was so good as well! The three of us got a very satisfying meal all for under $30. Well worth it read more

I wasn't expecting Olive Garden quality but still, I expected it to be edible. The pizza was actually soggy, as in the dough was wet. I took one bite and threw it away... the baked ziti was chewy and bland. My friend ordered the spaghetti and had the same reaction. Bad. bad. bad... I usually try to be fair and positive but there were really no redeeming qualities. The one allowance I will give is that it was about 30 minutes prior to closing so maybe if you get it earlier it would be better but I expect the food to be good regardless of the time. read more

A few weeks ago I decided to try out this restaurant while I was on my way to Nashville. The unlimited breadsticks were welcoming to a first-timer but they were too buttery, the lasagna was alright but can not be compared to Olive Garden or Gondola's. Don't get me started on their pizza, one of the last places I'll ever go to for pizza. The staff members there were rather disinterested in their work but they were at least getting the job done. Pretty decent Italian place. It is semi fast food so don't expect something like Olive Garden. The service is friendly but it was a tad bit slow for "fast food", which was understandable considering they seemed short handed and they were a little busy. It is pretty good for fast food. I'd recommend it over the everyday fast good joints. It's a good place for a quick lunch or a small dinner. It's a little pricey for pasta but not outrageous. It seems clean for the most part. One gem is the breadsticks they are unlimited and are very similar to Olive Gardens. There are several nicer choices around that aren't fast food but if you are looking for some cheap Italian off the interstate this is the place for you. They also will wait on you and sometimes take your plates if they are not busy. Pretty nice place. read more
