On the road to Nashville and in Tennessee just for a few days. We don't have Zaxby's in California so of course I wanted to stop in and enjoy. I have a friend in Texas that eats here every week! I ordered a Zaxby Salad with friend chicken and ranch dressing. It was yummy. Hubby ordered chicken and fries and we ordered an extra fry. My salad came with toast which was good. Not overly delicious and not as yummy as Raising Cane's, but good. 2 packets of ranch dressing isn't enough for the salad but I was done anyway. I ordered a drink and filled my cup with UNsweet tea and asked for yellow packets but they only had pink. I don't like pink. Okay, so no sweetener for my tea. Drink cup is a good size and refills are free. Our order was taken fairly quickly and was ready within 5 minutes. All the tables available in the dining room were clean and there was a worker taking out trash and sweeping while we were there. Bathroom was clean. read more

I love Zaxby's it's a great place! This place is just like any other Zaxby's and I didn't have any problems except when I went to the Bathroom, somebody with a hoodie on came out of a stall and walked out without washing their hands. I thought it was a customer until I watched him walk in the kitchen. But other than that, this place was great! The food was great and the floors were clean and neat! Now would I come back? I just moved here from California, where everybody is completely out of their minds over raising canes and Krispy Krunchy, and let me just tell you from a lot of experience that this place is 100% better. The bread is amazing the fries are seasoned perfectly and the Zaxby sauce is absolutely way better than canes and Krispy Krunchy put together's sauce not to mention they're super fast and cheap. I'm a CA import and there's no Zaxby's there, nor is there Chick-Fil-A (sorry if I got that wrong) so after trying the Holy Grail of Chick, I decided to try Zaxby's (as this seems to be a Very popular choice here). The wait via the drive thru was not long and the food traveled well enough (35 min ride home). Spicy chicken tenders for my hubby & a classic chicken sandwich for me. The chicken on the sandwich was heavily breaded, which isn't bad, it was just to much for me on a sandwich. The sandwich was .... okay. Other than the abundant breading, there was nothing significant about it. I did add more dill pickle to it at home. Hubby's spicy chicken was also okay. Nothing special about it. So although Zaxby's was good..... we'll probably stick with Popeye's. read more

So I've never been here and we decided on our road trip to check this one out. Overall a very clean place, the staff was very knowledgeable and nice. We got the 5pc buffalo boneless wings and the zestful chicken sandwich. The price is comparable to chic fila. Full meal about $10 a person. The fries are basic and the chicken was crisp and fresh. The food was good and we have no complaints. They do serve your food in nice dishes if you eat in, that's there way of separating themselves from the McDonald's world. Let me tell you something about this Zaxbys. We pulled up today in the drive through, and we were behind about 10 other cars. We were hangry, but willing to wait for the delicious chicken. We were up to the ordering spot SO DANG QUICK. We had a pretty large order (about 8 people) and the lady taking the order was SO NICE and didn't seem fazed one bit. We fans of Zaxby's and visit them often across the South. Meanwhile, we were disappointed with this location. While the service was good and staff was friendly (and our order came up within minutes) our chicken tenders were only lukewarm and the fries were barely warm and soggy. Zaxby's is a change of pace for getting all kinds of different cooked chicken or hamburgers they have such a huge awesome yummy menu a little on the pricey side but I'm telling you right now it is well worth it I always get their traditional platter they all kinds of different sauces to put on your chicken or on the side you will choose whichever one you want I recommend everybody try this new twist of taste for chicken. The food is consistently good but so is the ridiculous wait. If you're hungry I suggest you pack a lunch before you arrive at this not so fast food establishment. In addition, if you have a special order be sure and check it before you leave. Personally, I would never dine here because of the slow service, without question the slowest in Franklin, but my son likes it. Ok so the drive-up needs to be avoided at peak times or college nights(Tuesday) as the line moves so slowly you just might starve to death. The only problem I have with places like this is the staffing tends to be young and not always attuned to their customer, but it's fast food. My experience with most Zaxby's has been excellent food that takes a while to be served (for fast food). Since we were trying to get home and this was a mid day driving break for us, we decided to go ahead and go to Zaxby's expecting a bit of a wait that would be restful. The service wowed us and the food was out within 5 minutes. It was peak time on a Sunday after church and our order was fairly large too. High marks for this Zaxby's! read more

Good place to eat if you are in the mood for chicken tenders, chicken wings, or a salad. They also have good tasting grilled chicken sandwiches, chicken salad sandwich and grilled cheese sandwiches. My favorite food is the Grilled Chicken Salad which comes with plenty of chicken on top and it is always fresh. No wilted lettuce here! A side of buttered toast comes with the salads also. If you like chicken tenders they are also very good and every time we have ate at Zaxby's, which is a lot, they are hot and freshly made. They are a bit smaller than some places but they taste as if they are home cooked. No extreme batter or flavorings! I also occasionally like to order a side of homemade potato chips. They are yummy! The combo meals are a good size and of good quality and usually cost under $6.00. They come with the entree, a side of french fries and a med. drink, not bad for less than $6 bucks. I love the french fries which come with a special seasoning, but you can order the fries plain if you like. Zaxby's has good service and they stay fairly busy. Fast food, but good food! Ask for a zip card and have it stamped if you purchase one of the "most favorite" items and when you get the card full you get a free meal. read more
