I'm sorry to have to do this. But soggy pizza crust just doesn't do it for me. And the meatballs were not very good I'm afraid. So much potential here. Still looking for great pizza in Cookeville. read more

I have eaten Marco's on many occasions and it never disappoints. Pizza is always great. I love the cheesy bread. And the salad's are really good as well. I usually order the wings sauce less and well done and put sauce on them at home so they are crispy. read more

Cool staff and very welcoming environment. I've been a restaurant general manager and my eye always goes to the back of the house. I want to see where my food is being prepared and how it's being prepared. I was delighted to see that on such a busy night this place was doing a great job with keeping work surfaces clean! The pizzas were delicious and the ingredients seemed to be of better quality than some popular chain pizza restaurants. My husband and I normally don't order pizza but our son wanted one. I'm glad we ordered here. It really is great pizza made by some great folks! read more

This restaurant is located in the Kroger shopping center in the separate building with Jersey Mike's Subs. It's a new franchise in town. We saw several comments on Facebook about the tastiness and good experience of the restaurant and decided to try it. They were running a special so we ordered it. The wait in the restaurant was normal for pizza cooking time. It gave us a chance to look around the inside. What nice decor. Marco's delivers we found out. You can call in and pick up. You can also dine in (only seating for about 20 people). Drinks are bottles (not fountain). There's one bathroom. And if you're lucky enough to get the Sunday paper, you may find a flyer. The pizza sure measured up well. Ingredients seemed fresh and not canned. The crust was great. The sauce was great. You won't be disappointed. read more

We were in a new area for a couple weeks for work, so checking Yelp for area restaurants. This place had good reviews for pizza, so decided to give it a try. They are currently offering a Yelp check in offer for free cheese bread or free cinamon buns desert. They offer what they call authentic italian pizza made from fresh ingredients. They make their dough and sauces fresh daily. They offer both an original hand tossed and a thin n crispy crust. The restaurant is in a strip center, with about 8 tables and appears to do a brisk takeout business. There are lunch specials and a discount for the local university students. Most of the employees appeared to be university aged, but were quite friendly. We used the Yelp offer to try the cheese bread. It was a large portion, covered with about 4 types of cheese n served with ranch n their house made manara sauce. We ordered the award winning thin crust pizza w white garlic sauce, 4 cheeses (including feta) w onions n chrispy bacon. We chose to eat in. Ordering is counter service and the only drinks are from a pepsi fountain machine. They brought the pizza n bread sticks to our table in under 15 mins. There were several other eat-in customers n a brisk take-out business while we were there at 7 PM on friday night. The bread sticks were good and they happily redeemed the Yelp check in offer from my phone. The pizza was very fresh, crispy, and had a wonderful balance of flavors. Service was quick n friendly, prices were good, and the pizza was excellent. We will gladly try another of their speciality pizzas while we are in town. read more

We paid $15 for an xLarge half cheese half pepperoni pizza and when we got back to eat it there was barley any cheese on it and it didn't taste fresh either. The crust tasted like it wasn't even cooked all the way. I can honestly say I'm disappointed with Marcos. I've heard such good things about this place and it had such good ratings that I assumed the pizza would be phenomenal or close to it. Guess not though, won't go back again. read more

I've tried all the pizza chains and most are "okay." Marcos is worse. They overcook pizza which makes it taste worse. If your desperate, I would recommend eating a piece of 2 X 4 first... read more

The pizza is great and cooked very timely. Not a lot of room to dine in but worth it. The prices are very reasonable!! I was very surprised. If you haven't tried I suggest you do. read more

My first time ordering Marco's pizza. I am quoted less than $14 for a large 3 topping pizza. I pick up my pizza, they have the wrong name and the price is $16.82. I asked how it got so high and oh I have coupons from retail me not. I am rudely informed "We do NOT use that app" and we have no large 3 topping special. So they added the per topping price to my large pizza and raised the price. Needless to say, regardless of how good this pizza will be, it is my one and only Marco's visit read more

First visit to the one in Cookeville today, carry out, had been to one in Florida and it was delicious, this one did not disappoint and was perfect. If you only 30-40 minutes for lunch and or you think the quality is that much better forget it. Its impossible to get in and out of the location. When you finally get in and even if you order a simple sandwich to go with no one there you go behind any and all call in orders. Have not figured out why that it. So you wait. Mean while there are 3-4 people there but so much gabbing going on its bout 2 people worth of work while you stand there and wait. Avoid read more
