Pizza, beer and football just seemed to go together. My daughter and I shared the Greek salad, she also had the three cheese raviolis while my husband and I shared the Nick's stromboli (I think that's what it called) and everything was delicious. The beers were cold, the salad refreshing and the entrees were hot and abundant. Our waitress was so sweet as well. Definitely adding it to my Yelp collection.

Off the specials menu, my wife ordered the 16 hour smoked brisket and I ordered the ribeye steak. First we had the fried pickles and they were very good. When the brisket came out, it was better than Slick Pig's and Mission BBQ's. My ribeye had good flavor but had large areas of fat and was cut too thin. We ended with the apple crumble cheesecake. OMG it was sooooooo good. Can't comment on the regular menu items but the brisket is worth a trip!

We will absolutely be back!

I will discuss the service, ambiance and the food. My experience with the food was the Caesar Salad, Lasagna, and tastes of food from those at the table. Service was great. Our server was attentive, answered our questions and even brought me some extra pepperoncini when I asked for them. She was pleasant and patient as we pondered our selections. When my adult son asked about what was tap, she brought a taster for him. Across the street from the courthouse, on the square of a town founded in 1809, the restaurant inherited a period building with brick walls. I have been in Italy and I can say that the decorations were authentic. This MAY have been a church in a previous life, but there are a few clues, particularly to loft at the front of the building. A spiral staircase leads to it, about a story and half above the main floor. Closed to visitors, I understand at times it is a live music stage. Food was good - very good, just not good enough to warrant a full 4*s. So here are my picky comments. Lasagna was a large portion and well balanced for flavor. I'm used to pasta, even in lasagna to be more al dente. For the price, there was not enough meat to satisfy my taste buds or wallet. We opted for the family sized Caesar salad, which again, was good. I'm used to more garlic as well as a more flavorful and more abundant dressing. Two pizzas also came to our table and the four diners enjoying them, liked them much. For a wood fired oven, I am more used to a more prominent smoky flavor - from my small taste. Toppings were adequate and looked great on the pie when they came out. Chianti is only available by the bottle. I would have liked a single glass. It could grow on me if I lived or worked in the area. I would not object to going back with my party when we visit, but a 75 minute drive is not worth the trip.

Great food at a reasonable price!…read more I tried their meat and two - which stretched out to three meals! Their Memphis BBQ is awesome and I combined that with the fried broccoli and a loaded baked potato. I now have a new favorite way to enjoy broccoli. Yes, I wrote, "enjoy broccoli." When done BB's way, it was crunchy, tasty and I got my greens in to go with that tasty loaded potato. While I had just some of the BBQ and potato, I finished the broccoli but left room for the best part - pie. Let me tell you, pie isn't just a transcendental number, BB's pecan pie is a transcendental experience! Service was great and while it may be something of a regular looking place, they have live music on Saturday nights. Which between the food and dessert, make this a place worth checking out!
