Oh Gosh. Where to start ? I will simply offer the "highlights" of our visit. Although grateful to…read moreget in to see this doctor on the same day we called, we later learned that because he had NO patients scheduled for the afternoon, he had accepted two new patients. We arrived 30 minutes prior to our 2pm appointment in order to complete paperwork, which we did. At 2pm a man wearing dirty bluejeans, a Cancun T-shirt and a stethoscope around his neck, opened the door to the waiting area and asked us to step in. Our patient was weighed and eventually, his blood pressure and blood oxygen level was taken by this man. He sat with us in the exam room and began to talk and talk and talk about random things. ie: he reads the news to find the "good" news; a terrorist attack can't be stopped; the economy is going to be negatively affected when Amazon and Fed-Ex start transporting goods electronically driven trucks...yada yada yada. As I sat there, I glanced at the countertop beside me where sat a jar of "sterile" gauze pads with no lid. Then I noticed a pillow on the exam table and interrupted him to ask if they had paper pillowcases for it. He said yes, if needed, they would put one on and said I have them right here...indicating down on the floor on the other side of the exam table. Finally, I asked "what is your name?". He spoke his first name, but offered no credentials. He did say that he sits with patients and entertains them until the Doctor is ready to see them. All this is not the worst. The worst is that this man smelled bad ! Not the kind of smell you might have if you'd had to step outside in the heat to get something out of the car, but the smell that's present from no bath for 3 or 4 days. Oh and his hair was greasy dirty and he kept running his fingers through it. From the exam room next to ours, I could hear the Doctor and other new patient talking to one another, because the door was wide open. What kind of confidentiality is that and why did I just sign all those Hippa papers ?? Worse, I heard no exchange of medical dialog such as what's wrong and here's what I can do to help you. No ! What I heard was the Doctor talking about the political condition of our country and the patient talking about a dog that thought he was human. When it was one hour past our appointment time with no word from the doctor, my patience ran out and the alarm bells were ringing loudly in my mind, I told our patient that we were leaving. The man was nowhere in sight, neither was the receptionist, and we walked past the open door of the room with the Doctor and other new patient. No one said a word and no one called me. I immediately called our insurance company to let them know of our experience with this doctor that was on their approved physicians list. They were glad I called them.

The best doctor I have ever had. I get a complete checkup and workup to manage my care better…read moreevery single time I go. Been a patient for a decade and have nothing but great things to say about Dr. Schade. He is extremely knowledgeable.

Dr. Schade has been my husband's pain management doctor for quite a few years 10+. He's an ok…read moredoctor--nice guy, nothing super special. I had tried to get my husband to change to someone (hopefully) better over the years, but it's such a hassle, he decided to stay put. We are finding out now how much of a hassle it is. Dr. Schade has decided to retire and from now on only do some surgical type procedures. I've had many issues with the way they run things over there...The latest is he tells his patients they need to get another pain management doctor, but when you call new PM places they need a referral. Dr. Schade refuses to give referrals. Why? His staff (if you can really call them that) said it's because we don't know who would be covered by your insurance. We had already checked and the Doctor he was told about is on our plan. Dr. Schade's (staff) indicated that the doctors name was given to my husband by one of them out of courtesy--not an actual person to be referred to...What? This office will not deal in email at all---shady. Which makes it extra convenient for them as you can't hold them accountable for what you've been told, if you have no proof. This office takes forever to get a refill called in---Irresponsible. This office has messed up my husband's disability case--unforgivable This office wanted a copy of my husband's FCE report which was over 30 pages. They would not upload it from a thumb drive to print it out themselves. They expected us to go get it printed for them...uh no. If you ever needed forms filled out for anything they charged you $75.00+ depending what it was. This office staff will turn argumentative and say no to most requests. When you talk to Dr. Schade himself, he says yes. What's the truth? I feel they have been unhelpful and rude. In my opinion, Dr. Schade is the ONLY one in that office that is really knowledgeable about anything. The PA that refers to herself as a Doctor is a joke. We are very happy he's decided to shut down his practice. I really should've complained before now all the mistakes and plain stupidity that has gone on there to The Texas Medical Board and insurance board. Ten years with a doctor and he is unwilling to give a referral? In my opinion It's just plain irresponsible.

They got my review removed. That's ok, I'll write you a new one…read more My mom is diabetic among with other problems. She comes here because they speak Vietnamese but this place doesnt treat their patients well. Listen, I work full time. If I had the time I would have taken my mom to an American doctor and translate for her without dealing with your lies and attitude. The one time I drove my mom, we waited for two hours with an appointment and the appointment was late afternoon. My mom is diabetic but she was still fasting for them to do blood test. They know she is diabetic but yet they give her the latest time possible. These people are careless. The doctor doesn't care about his patients. While we were waiting for him, they never once acknowledge his patients. Nobody had the courtesy to say "sorry for the long wait". Since they tell my mom they're always booked in the morning. My mom tried to schedule monthly appointments for the next few months to get ahead so maybe their calendar isn't so booked. The receptionist gives her attitude and still schedule her for the latest appointment in the day at 1 or 2pm knowing she is diabetic and has to fast for blood work. Who does that? I'm not even diabetic and I cant fast for blood work pass 11. Receptionist tell my mom they're booked in the morning for everyday of the month for the next six months. You are full of crap. It sounds more like the doctor is lazy and doesn't want to work in the morning. They need to stop lying to their patients. My mom found other Vietnamese doctors in the area and no longer come here. You are replaceable There are two types of people in medical field. 1, they truly care about helping people. 2, they are there to suck the insurance money out of their patients. This place is #2, they don't care about their patients. The doctor is a pill pusher and makes my mom does so much tests/blood works. He never tells my mom the results of the tests but just prescribed medicine

The doctor himself is a douchebag. He thinks he's better than the patients and is unkind and doesn't even acknowledges them. One time I threaten to change doctors and they convinced my grandmother to stay and being the nice forgiving old lady she is, she said she wants to come back. They keep doing "blood tests" but they never have results. I cannot stand them, the doctor or his wife who are just really mean people. I also think they have are committing insurance fraud. It's my gut feeling, they just seem very shady. Do not go here do not let them stay in business.
