My appointment was at 10am. I arrived at 9:40am hoping to get out of there early. There is one other patient already in one of the private rooms. But no doctor... 9:55am: Dr Khan finally pulls into the parking lot. She strolls in, gets ready, and heads into the private room. 10:10am: One of the nurses takes me into another private room. Takes my vitals. And I just end up sitting there... waiting and waiting and waiting... 10:45am: The doctor finally comes in. Does not apologize for being late. Talk to me for about 5 minutes and that was it. I don't like doctors that do not value their patient's time. (And this is not the only time it has happened.) Or maybe the office does not know how to schedule appointments.Whatever the reason may be, it's unprofessional and unacceptable. Although Dr. Khan is a very nice lady & decent at her job, if you are wary about COVID still & looking for a new Dr. I do not recommend coming here. Half, if not the whole staff does not wear face covering and if they are wearing them, they wear them under the nose or as a double chin cover up. Not very professional to not look after your own patients during a pandemic. I never seen them disinfecting the pens to sign in, the waiting area, or even the rooms inside. read more

I have been getting botox for a number of years, but my normal Dr. was not able to do it, (he just had surgery) so I decided to try Dr.Khan for botox on Oct. 24th. I used a Groupon deal, but they told me not to go through Groupon and to go through them directly, which i don't have a problem with but is that normal? I had to drive to Arcadia from LA, but I called they seemed professional and so I thought i'd risk the drive. I told the Dr. that i wanted my forehead frozen, so i got more units than i have ever used. i have never had a problem with this request from my other Doc. POSITIVE: They did get me in right away, and her husband Zul was nice, but that neither of these things made my botox more effective. NEGATIVE: 1. After two weeks my forehead never stopped moving, especially above my eyebrows. 2. Zul said that the Dr. would call me to see how the results were, but she never did. 3. I called last week, no one called me back. 4. It's been five weeks and my forehead looks horrible. 5. i need to go get botox again, so spending even more money. 6. I was hoping that they would fix it, but if they don't call me what do i do. Then here is an overall review. Dr. Khan is pushy, and pointed out other procedures that she thought I needed done. I hate this kind of sales technique. As a professional, if you see that the client is not responding positively to your suggestions, back off. I am not trying to be mean, but Dr. Khan's look is not one that I want. I don't like lips or cheeks that look like they have been stuffed with product. First visit was about 5 years ago. Botox sesh (25 units) went really well. The expected results were 100% present and it gave me so much hope and excitement to look at least my age (for goodness' sake!) again. I've since gone to a friend's med spa in Monrovia and after 5 years of wasting money there, I could not wait to return to an experienced dr who could give me real results. My misplaced loyalties to an inexperienced medical staff is something I totally regret. So, living and learning, last week I began hunting for a new place and remembered my experience with Dr. Khan years ago. I loved her! Matter of fact, I still had her business card. I called to make an appointment (they've got a special going!!!) and visited Dr. Khan for my second visit and usual 25 units of Botox. Upon assessment, she informed me that 25 would no longer do, that 30 would be more appropriate given my lack of consistent maintenance over the past 5 years. I had been going for treatment less than once a year. I guess my fear of paying out more money to that other clinic backfired and the wrinkles between my brows are deeper than ever. I also begged her to consider a filler in that area because my recent Botox results have been underwhelming. She asked me to be patient and to try the correct number of Botox units first and see what magic it does BEFORE attempting the filler route. She suggested giving it a few weeks before consulting with her again. Dr. Khan's office staff is very friendly and professional. Love those girls! Dr.'s hubby manages the office and is very friendly, too and always up for chat. I brought up to him my concern that other clinics may not be using genuine Botox Cosmetic product and he went out of his way to show me their Botox cache and he pointed out the packaging and serial numbers, something every clinic should be able to produce. GOOD TO KNOW! So, it's been a week and I am happy to say that I have little movement in the treated area but was told to expect even more results over the next week, which is great because my wedding is a week from now. I would give Zero stars if I could!! I called for an appointment because I had a severe eye irritation. I explained this on the phone and again to her assistant when I arrived. Then Dr. Quack comes in for a total of 60 seconds (yeah, I timed it). I repeat my story and she leaves to make an appointment for an optomologist without ever even looking at my eye. I was in pain and suffering and she just walked out! No help at all!! Total waste of time!!! I have been seeing Dr Fauzia Khan over 10 years. I had a stroke and was transfered to a room from the Energency Ward at Arcadia Methodist Hospital. I had a stroke. I was smoking cigarettes, was 260 lbs aType 2 Diabetic wearing size 38 waist pants, had sleep apnea, bipolar and terribly stressed my life in turmoil. Today I am 185 lbs wearng size 32 waist pants, no cigarettes, my A1C is normal, sleeping better and much less stress. I am still working to be the best I can be. God sent me Dr Fauzia Khan to save my life. She had done so much for me in changing. Her husband Mr Khan and her staff all are wonderful people. They saved my life and I am eternally greatful! For ex: she asked for my age more than 5 times. * She can't even treat fungal skin infections inside her palm hand. TERRIBLE EXPERIENCED AND NEVER COME BACK. I have been going to Dr. Khan for at least 5 to 7 years now, and I think she's awesome! She always seems to genuinely care about how you are doing as person and not just a patient. I don't feel scared when I go in for a visit like I have with other doctors I've had. My husband and two daughters have started to going to her too! Anytime she's had to send me to a specialist it's always been another good recommendation. My daughter has type 1 diabetes and Dr. Khan was able to do a lot for her, such as recommending a new endocrinologist, getting her set up in some nutrition and diabetes care classes, more than Childrens Hospital ever did! Also as far as the wait goes, it's never a long wait till see you the doctor. I booked my appointment over the phone with Zul. He was so friendly & took the time to answer all my questions. Dr Khan is amazing. She did not rush the work she did on me, and she is a true perfectionist. She didn't try to sell me on anything she didn't think I needed, and even upgraded products without charging me more because she wanted great results.
