Took a little detour on the way to Asheville from Charlotte and found this cute little coffee shop in the heart of Lincolntown (I think?) They have a zillion and one flavor options and some light snacks including bagels. I had a butter beer latter with almond milk, swapped caramel sauce for salted caramel syrup and it was lovely and gluten free/dairy free. I also purchased this delicious beef jerky. Shown in the pictures. It was worth taking the detour. read more

I love that yes, the flavors are overwhelming but, they provide suggestions of flavor combinations to choose from on their white board. Some combos seem a little far fetched but others seem like I need to go there everyday just to be able to try them all!! If coffee wasn't enough, this shop has various sweets to try, original stickers, succulents, and various other cute items to choose from! So if you're ever in a coffee run, be sure to take some time to check out what's around the espresso machines in this shop because you won't be disappointed! It's even better they have the coffee ice so your iced coffee won't get watered down if you can't get to drinking it right away! Needed a little pick-me-up and not only did the ladies at Fausto serve up a perfect Americano to go, I snagged a bar of artisan dark chocolate chock fulla espresso beans for that extra oomph! Proprietress Miriah and cohort in caffeine Billie bid me a wonderful birthday weekend with a charming visit to go with my cuppa gumption. 100% would recommend coming in for the atmosphere, the art, and the attitude. So, besides the fact that I'm a coffee fiend...my family visited Fausto because I saw in the reviews that there is a "kids corner". Well, if you're the mom of a toddler...you know that containing them to a stroller while you try to relax and drink coffee is nearly impossible, and you can't just let them roam free in a restaurant either. We brought our 19 month old and got to SIT DOWN while he played in the kids area! Hallelujah! It even can be enclosed (doors), which does make it warm in there, but for a few minutes he's absolutely fine. It was a dream. My iced dirty chai was delicious, the place was full of art and reminded me of Asheville...plus tons of seating. A new favorite for sure. read more

They always have local art hanging in their lovely place! My favorite hot coffee is a lavender latte with almond milk. Great, kid friendly spot in downtown Lincolnton for coffee, people watching, meeting, working, or relaxing. The shop has a cozy vibe with many seating options-tables, desks, high tops, couches, chairs, and even window seats. My 4 year old daughter happily played in the play nook for 45 minutes, which allowed me to savor my delicious latte and soak up some sun through the big windows. I loved the books, notebooks, furniture, and mixed media art that were curated for our enjoyment, and appreciated the "community gathering spot" feeling. The shop is spacious enough that I didn't feel pressure to minimize my daughter's exuberance or get out of there the second she was loud, and I really appreciated that! The case of baked goods looked great-my daughter enjoyed her black and white cookie, and I will be trying the spinach and feta scone next time! We will be back--and soon! read more

My wife and I are new to this area and been looking for a good coffee shop like the one we had at the old community. Reviews looked good so we paid a visit. My wife had a chocolate mocha and I had a latte. Mocha was way to chocolatey and the latte was way to strong. The staff was very unfriendly and cold. I wanted more then just coffee, maybe a muffin or pastry of some kind. No luck. I have been had 3 times in a role with good reviews that turned out not to be so. What a great find. I was in town for court and stumbled upon this gem. The owner and staff were like..., like friends I have known for years. So cool. The coffee is delicious and there are tons of choices. I'm a pretty easy, boring coffee-drinker but their Costa Rican coffee was excellent. They also had tons of scones, danishes, muffins. I had a delish multi-grain bagel. To me, however, the key of any "coffee shop" is the atmosphere and attitude of the place. Yes, the coffee and food needs to be quality. But there needs to be more. Currently living in Nashville but was visiting family in the area. Always love supporting local when ever possible. Needed Coffee before the 5 1/2 Hour ride back home, so my wife found this place. Location was easy to find. The inside was what I'm accustomed to with other local Barista Shops. The blonde woman at the counter was extremely polite and hospitable. The Coffee was on great and price was reasonable. When ever my wife and I I are back in that area, this will definitely be our "Go To" Remember people, Always Support Local. read more

Famous cyclist Fausto Coppi is the inspiration/theme/namesake for this cute coffee shop in downtown Lincolnton. While you're sipping on one of the wonderful espresso drinks, take a look at some of the memorabilia hanging around the room. Pictures of Fausto and other cyclists from previous Tours. That is, if you're not talking to Miriah. She's the owner/manager/head barista, and a great conversationalist to boot. I come to Fausto Coffee every time I visit my grandparents, and being only a few times a year, I'm always amazed when Miriah remembers not only my name, but follows-up on things I've told her from previous visits. Being in rural NC, where the coffeeshop abounds with Southern hospitality, it lacks in foot traffic. I'm always pleasantly surprised because I never know if I'll have the place all to myself, or be greeted by a mix of teenagers, grandparents, or the antsy businessman who's decide to walk across the square for a pick-me-up. I can't blame any of them--it's a great place no matter the occasion! Overall, it has done wonders to help the revitalization of the downtown scene in Lincolnton. I plan to continue my regular visits, and you should, too! read more

I am a coffee shop fanatic & this one has an amazing atmosphere AND amazing coffee! Their espresso is strong and smooth. My absolute favorite drink from here is the iced latte with white mocha & coconut flavors. Since I don't consume dairy, I substitute either soy, almond, or coconut milk. My other recommendation here is the iced Americano. Each drink is handcrafted & made to perfection- seriously, I have never gotten a coffee better anywhere else. I guess what they say is true, once you have the best you can't do better! They also have local art & pastries as well as smoothies. I 100% recommend this place if you are in the area. read more

Great coffee shop, I work a field position and often will "duck" into local coffee shops to work and I have come here several times. One thing I do not like (and this is just something personal because I can't concentrate with so much noise) is the children's toys they have in the side room. Today a little boy was THROWING the ride on vehicle around the room while his parent did nothing to stop him. The staff here is lovely though and they have great coffee. read more

Staff is the best you can have, but the coffee was a little off for me. I took home flavored coffee beans that had no flavor. When I spoke to the staff about it I was given an excuse of maybe the person just made a mistake and she never offered me a refund or new beans with flavor (even though she was the one who make the mistake). The shop is clean and family friendly. The prices are high as Star Bucks which I don't think it needs to be. Parade day they had one person and the line was out the door. They get their pastry from Nova bakery whom I am so not a fan of again too pricey.
