Coffee is always good although sometimes the consistency of the taste may be slightly off sometimes. But if you understand coffee and pulling espresso shots there can be very fine nuances that change depending on the grind, temp, time, and even the barista can affect the way a shot is made/tastes. So I'm not upset that it's not the same every time. It just shows that this is the real deal. I enjoy the Breve here and the Chai Tea is solid too. The blended drinks are always good too. We've tried the spicy cayenne pepper drink and it was too much spice. I know it can be done as I've had it at a different coffee shop and it had just the right amount of kick. But this could be very subjective as everyone's spice level is different. What stood out the most was that unlike a shop we visited yesterday (I won't name it, but it's in Hickory), my son wasn't followed around by the owner/staff like he was up to no good (my son is 2 months shy of 7 at the time of this, and he kept his hands in his pockets most of the time, so I'm not sure why that person felt the need to make me uncomfortable by following my kid and getting wide-eyed every time he pointed to something or touched anything).
