Dennis said I can even use the price i paid for my Yamaha to upgrade to a Steinway as a credit within 10 years! After sale service is great too. After speaking to both Suzanne and Michael, I selected a fantastic upright for my living room, which I feel that I got at a good price. I felt as though Michael and Suzanne were there to answer any questions I had, with Suzanne even providing me her number, and was excited to make a purchase. They are trustworthy, helpful, kind and the best at what they do. If you are looking to buy a piano or would like to refurbish an older piano, don't bother to look any further. They took my Baldwin Baby Grand and made it better than new. They refinished the mahogany cabinet to its original sheen and glory and replaced the tuning pins, hammers and pins. See photo below. Though we've wanted a piano for years, we had looked only casually before being struck by Isaac's philosophy: taking pianos and touching them up or even restoring them to sell to people across a wide range of budgets and skill levels. When I reached out, Isaac responded promptly, and we had a long conversation assessing what we were looking for in a piano. When we went to his shop, he explained the origin of the pianos he had and what made each different. He graciously let us try everything from a Baldwin spinet to a beautiful late-1800s Steinway (which he knew was NOT in our price range!). We ultimately settled on a warm Charles Walter upright, made by a smaller American company we hadn't been familiar with but that - - besides making great pianos - - has business values we appreciate as a bonus. The piano movers Isaac works with are excellent: they arrived promptly and carefully navigated the piano up several steps through a narrow entrance, in and out within fifteen minutes. We put our baby grand piano in to storage a year and a half ago in preparation for a home renovation. I was pretty nervous, to tell you the truth. The piano is a family heirloom and it's very important to us. So, the idea of removing it from the house wasn't one we were particularly fond of, but it was necessary. From start to finish these guys were FLAWLESS. When they removed the piano from our home, they took great care to protect both the piano and our house and bringing it back they did the same. They protected our hardwood floors and positioned the piano exactly as we asked all while being friendly and polite. We didn't have any damage to our home or our piano. These guys know what they are doing! I doubt we will need to move our piano again. But if we do, I know who I'm calling. These guys are 5 stars all the way:)
