It was incredibly smooth and easy on our end, which we really appreciated. Shoutout as well to the project managers, Paul and Robert. They were both fantastic. Communication was clear and consistent, and everything moved along without any issues. The whole team was great. After the big hailstorm in our area, we had what felt like 100 roofing companies knocking on our door. I'm so glad our insurance agent referred us to Peak. These guys are the real deal.

When I got multiple quotes for roof repairs he was the most attentive, the most thorough, and Peak had very reasonable pricing. Not the lowest, but paired with the thorough report and warranty on the work, you know that they're not just trying to do a sloppy job. Finding great help for commercial properties is pretty challenging these days. The report and photos I received as part of the estimate process definitely helped me to make decisions with more confidence in a situation where I'm unlikely to actually put eyes on the problems myself. And Charlie sent more info during the job along with additional photos and observations. Definitely recommend for reliable repairs!

And his response and answers to all our questions convinced us to hire them to do our project. And we couldn't be happier about the results! The Project Manager - Giud - always kept us informed about progress and our change requests. He was responsive to my calls and texts and provided clear communications to all throughout the project. The team - Jorge and Jose working under Juan's leadership - showed up on time, checked in to confirm the schedule for the day and worked well and efficiently together, handling the changes we requested with ease. They were mindful of our landscaping and always professional in their work habits. And the results were outstanding! I'm a handyman of sorts and recognize good workmanship when I see it. And these guys are good! Our neighbors were all praiseful of the work they did and the transformational results to our house! Without a doubt, my wife and I highly recommend Phillips Home Improvement if you have painting, remodeling or restoration needs!

I made Phillips know via email, over the phone, and in person that I wanted a good deal and also a…read morecompany that doesn't promote illegal immigration. I'm a legal immigrant who was harmed and almost raped by an illegal who shouldn't have been in the US. To ensure protocols of safety and liability were met, I'd ask for workmen's comp and proof of legal liability. Fernanda, Ethan and another employee whose name I don't recall from Phillips assured me that all of the contractors that work for them are screened and are allowed to work here. One of the managers said that he doesn't have control over who the subcontractors hire, but that the way they do business is 100% legal. So, I went with Phillips, despite their much more expensive prices than other companies for my peace of mind. On Mon 11/17/25 at 7:45a, the Phillips subcontractor showed up with his crew. Upon me approaching one of the workers to say hello in his car, his eyes were droopy and smelled strongly of weed. I live two blocks from an elementary school and children were walking at that time. I gave him a handshake still, and asked him if he was rightfully allowed to work. He evaded me by responding "no ingles" while pointing at the Phillips subcontractor. So I asked him in Spanish then, and he said no. I also learned he had been threatened by the Latino drug cartels and that he is very aware of the ramifications of letting anyone and everyone in the US. I thanked him for his honesty and excused myself to talk to the subcontractor, who told me I was a racist. I replied "I am from Peru, and hispanic as well". The subcontractor called the Phillips manager Israel Pena, and I went inside my house to call the police because his subcontractor's illegal worker was driving impaired around kids and looking to climb on a steep roof 30 ft in the air! Just as I was on the phone with the police officer, the worker fled. The officer then said there was not much they could do at this point. The manager, Israel P. from Phillips finally showed up, he spoke with his subcontractor outside my house, the subcontractor also left and Israel knocked on my door. He confirmed with me that their subcontractor had hired illegals, and that after speaking with me, he had to let them all flee and told them not to stay. I told Israel why I called the police - one of his subcontractor's illegal worker was driving impaired around kids, and looking to climb my roof! Later that afternoon, Phillips supervisor George called me, after the fact, claiming that his company cannot control who their subcontractors hire, and so they can't be held responsible. I can't accept that explanation. I made it very clear to them the importance of having vetted workers on my property to increase safety, and that I chose the most expensive company (Phillips) for that specific peace of mind. Ultimately, this is Phillips' fault that I have unscreened criminal workers at my house, under the influence, near our kids, looking to do work on a steep roof 30 ft in the air. At the end of a lengthy conversation, Phillips decided they are not going to change their practices and maintained that the worker in question was "not their employee", even though he was on my house to do work on a contract I had with Phillips, so I hold them responsible. We agreed to cancel the contract and I was refunded. Philips took zero accountability and zero actions to prevent what could have killed a child. We have enough crime and don't need to import more. Phillips is the kind of company that turns a blind eye by indirectly enabling and promoting illegal labor through their subcontractors.

Sebastian was the person who came out and provide a quote. He was always incredibly responsive and knowledgeable. Selvin was lead for the crew that came out. They came exactly when they said they would, installed everything quickly, and left the area clean (if not cleaner) than they found it. All of my interactions with the crew were very good and they worked so quietly, I was able to work inside my house with no problem. If I ever have roofing or gutter issues, I will definitely reach back out to Brotherhood Roofing!

Third and hopefully final update:…read more Brotherhood Roofing refuses to call me to fix this issue. I think their customer service speaks for itself at this point, and I've included screenshots of their communication. The emails are from their business owner, while the Yelp response is from an employee. (Please check out their original response in my screenshot, they have since updated it to seem more professional). Here's the full story so potential customers can know what I experienced: My roof was completed in November 2019, so it was under warranty until November 2024. (Picture of contract is attached, it was not 2016 as their employee claims.) In June 2024, we had some leaks and the owner came out to investigate. We fixed the issues he pinpointed (leaves in the gutters and caulk around some flashing), but there was still leaking. A different roofer said the leak was coming from another location that they had not initially pinpointed. I tried to contact Brotherhood Roofing for the next 10 months, and they never returned my calls. In August 2024, their business was listed as closed, so I figured that was that. I still called to try and get this issue resolved. Today, in April of 2025, I received responses to my reviews on Yelp and Google, erroneously claiming that our install date was from 2016. I immediately reached out via phone call and email, hoping I could finally resolve the issue after 10 months. The company refuses to call me to discuss this. From my point of view, I am understandably annoyed about not receiving communication for 10 months and then receiving a sassy response to my reviews that tries to discredit me, with no attempt to resolve the issue. I no longer want this company to touch my home, but I think it's only fair to share the way that I have been treated so future customers can avoid the same experience. I hope that the company does not respond to this review and instead leaves me alone, as their communication with me has been very unpleasant and distressing. (Putting a fourth update here, since it's less important. Brotherhood continues to adjust their Yelp response to seem more professional and to discredit me. Luckily screenshots exist. The flashing they mentioned was under an eave, installed by our pest control company, and did not affect the roof. We do not have oak trees. They also said they would only re-inspect their work if I remove my reviews, which I'm not going to do. Their responses are continually baffling.) Second Update (after their Yelp response): I have a contract in my inbox dated 2019. I have emailed it to you. That maintenance was completed and the roof was still leaking. Another roofing contractor came out, looked at the roof, and confirmed that there was an area that was done poorly that caused the leak. You said you would contact me when that maintenance was completed. It has been. Please contact me. Update since I cannot reply to the business owner's comment: My roof was installed in November 2019, not 2016. I tried to contact them starting in summer of 2024, when my roof WAS still under warranty, and they did not respond and their business was listed as closed. Interesting that they're now replying to emails. I would LOVE for the business owner to call me in regards to this.
