Stopped in for lunch with my husband. We were greeted right away, and after taking some time to review the menu, I decided I wanted the hot grilled chicken sub, half size. We found a seat, and a short time later, our food was ready. My sub was served on a toasted bun, with lettuce, tomato, mayo, and seasonings, and a large perfectly grilled chicken breast filet. It was so good and filling. At first, I didn't think I would finish it all, but I sure did because it was so good. This restaurant is on a corner lot and provides indoor seating, take out, and delivery. We will be back to enjoy some other menu items! read more

Thought I would try this place since I heard there were new owners. Sandwich wasn't bad, but lacked meat for the size of bread they used. Price is about right comparatively to everywhere else. Tried to call an order in and phone rang forever and no answer. Tried a few minutes later and straight for voicemail, so had to go in person to order(20-25min wait once ordered) Pizza on the other hand did not make the cut. Way overpriced and not that good. We did meaty combo and super cheese. Crusty bread I was in the area for the day and this looked to be a great lunch pick. The menu said the roast beef and cheddar tastes just like a burger and I'd have to agree. Fatzo's is under new ownership with the same great menu. And the bread is back to the fabulous bread they had back in the day, not the dry, bland, day-old tasting stuff they had for awhile. I always get the vegetarian sub and it is chock full of fresh veggies. You'll need a fork to eat the overflow that ends up on your plate. My husband chooses a variety of subs, always delicious. fatzo's has been a staple in two rivers for as long as i can remember. i moved to green bay when i was young, but 30 years later i still come back a few times a year for a ridiculous amount of subs. the seafood sub is my absolute favorite. you just can't get a good seafood sub anywhere else. i was literally looking at houses in waking distance of fatzos so i could get my fix on a regular basis. the house didn't work out, but the seafood sub always does. the toasted beef and cheddar is a new favorite for us. get it "with everything" and it tastes just like a burger. delicious! i discovered the gyro sub this weekend. it was delicious. the gyro meat is tender and the grecian sauce is amazing. i will be ordering this every single time. their chicken parm is tasty, i usually only get a bite of it from my sister. the Bavarian pork sandwich reminds me of my grandmother's cooking. it's a nice trip down memory lane. we recently ordered a ridiculous amount of subs, and on the way to pick them up, we hit a deer. after we called the police and the insurance company, we called fatzo's to let them know we wouldn't make it. they didn't answer (because google is wrong about their hours) so i messaged them on facebook to apologize, explained why we wouldnt make it, and sent a picture of our car. they responded within minutes and arranged for someone to bring the subs to us. they went above and beyond for us, and we couldn't ask for a better experience in such a trying situation. they even messaged back the next day to see if we're all ok, and if the subs were good. fatzos reminds me of family. i love this place and will always find my way here to support them. they're good people and serve good food for low prices. read more

Yuk!!!! I ordered pizza at 4:10 for delivery and was told they didn't deliver until 5 which was fine. Food finally showed up at 5:30 and was cold! Pizza looked like a cheap Roma pizza. Roma would have been better. Garlic cheese bread was cold also and not much cheese. For a 12" cheese sausage mushroom & cheese garlic bread it was 20.65. Too much for louse food & service read more

We stopped in for a sandwich as we were passing through. Do not be confused with the Fatzo's in Sturgeon Bay, no relation. At least not as far as the food goes. The counter is at ground level as you walk in. It is small with two tiny tables and 4 chairs here. There are 2 huge menu boards. The kitchen is directly behind the counter, 5 steps elevated and behind a wall with a window that the kitchen staff lean out of to take your order. Most of the business here seems to be takeout or delivery. There is another small dining area 5 steps up to the right of the counter. The bathroom is also up 5 steps next to the kitchen. It is the size of a janitor closet, but fairly clean. I ordered the Gyros sandwich, My wife the grilled chicken breast half sub. The food was up in a reasonable amount of time. The Gyros was ok. there was no lettuce as most Gyros do. The half sub was a generous size. The meat looked as if it could have been a deli meat or pre packaged food from a place like Sysco. The quality of these sandwiches was ok, but nothing to write home about. I would like to try their pizza one day, so for now 3 stars. read more

I try to come here at least once whenever I'm in town, this time I hit it twice. **Their subs are huge** do not get a whole sub unless you have a huge capacity for food. I am a big eater, and a 1/2 is enough for me. I got the Fatso yesterday and had the Ruben a few days before that. The Fatso was really good, the Ruben had kinda light bread instead of a nice rye and the corned beef was just OK. Their bread is pretty good, nice and soft, but don't expect a French roll. I MUCH prefer coming here to the Subway in town, the sandwiches have a lot more flavor. read more

This place is honestly horrible. There is a fatzos in manitowoc that is leagues better, has a much better choice of food items. I ordered the steak sub with horseradish and got a sausage patty smothered in miracle whip. I couldn't even muscle it down because the spicy tang of horseradish was replaced by the rancid sweetness of sandwich spread. I will try and post pics read more

The food is good... when they get it right... but expect to wait... even if you order pick up and are told it will be ready in 25min and you don't come until the 25 min are up. It has now been an extra 15 min and STILL don't have my food. Based on past experience they will also get at least 1 thing in my order wrong. Been to Fatzos many times. Today was the first time I wasn't pleased. We ordered 3 subs. The subs were ordered within the first 2 hours after opening. The bread was old and dry. The bread is usually the best part but it had to be days old. The lettuce and tomatoes on the sub were also very old. I wish I would have taken a picture as there was barely any filling in sandwich. The subs aren't too bad and they are rather large, like the other reviews state. The only thing that kind of irks me about Fatzo's is you have to put literally everything on your sandwich. They do not come with much outside of meat and cheese. Maybe a condiment or two. I would recommend their cold subs over their warm subs too. The best sub sandwich shop in all of Manitowoc County. The half sub is 8" long and a whole sub is 16", so don't be surprised that you'll be stuffed with a half sub. Seriously, the sub sandwiches from Fatzo's are the best. They have a wide assortment of cold subs (Super Fatzo is my fave) and hot subs (I'll be weird here and go with the Hot Ham and Cheddar with green olives), as well pizza and other odds and ends. Best sub shop in Manitowoc Co if you ask me. I love the super fatzo sub and usually stick with that. They often get busy around rush times so call ahead and ask when you should pick it up. Most people don't call ahead so they have to wait since it's busy when they order. Order over the phone and ask for a whole fatzo if you want a great sub. It is more expensive by a few bucks then subway but you get what you pay for. A great staple in Two Rivers. read more

There was three people in our party and no one was satisfied with their food. One person ordered a pizza and it really was no better than buying a frozen pizza from the gas station. I ordered the Philly sub and it was cold. We dined in so it was not an issue of time between it being made and eaten. My cheese was not melted at all and all of the toppings as well as the meat were cold. The other person with us ordered the pizza sub. They to got a cold sub. The sauce was cold as if it was poured from the jar on to the sub The cheese was not melted either. Their bread was good. I would recommend going with a cold sub from here. Nice small hole in the wall place. This is a locals joint that makes pizza and subs. I did not get to try the pizza I will sometime in the future. Decor was average, wait staff is friendly. Very small they handle mostly take out orders. The sit down area only has about 7 tables. So I ordered the half meatball sub which is a full 8". The bread was tasty, meatballs were from a bag, sauce was good and chunky. There is not a whole lot to say, its not bad if you want a sandwich. Its a step above subway but nothing amazing. read more

My family likes this place, but I do not. The cold sub that I've ordered just has way too much mayonnaise, so gross. The hot sub I ordered the other night, I asked for the BBQ sauce to be on the side b/c of fear that they may put too much like when I had my cold sub a while back. Well, the pork and bread were cold. If this is suppose to be a hot sub, it should be hot. I could tell that the pork was removed from the fridge and put onto the bread. My bread should have been toasted or suggested that it be toasted b/c of it being a hot sub. I ordered coleslaw to eat with the sandwich, and it had entirely way too much mayonnaise. I took one bite and it was disgusting. It looked like the slaw was left on the counter all day. It had that translucent glaze on it, it just didn't look or taste right. Both mom and I got sick from tasting the slaw. You can just buy bread, meats, and condiments at the Piggly Wiggly, fix it yourself and it'll taste the same. Nothing special about this establishment other than it will make you a "Fatzo" from all that mayonnaise. read more
