I love this place! Fun environment with really good pizza and food. And games for the kids. Definitely a place for the whole family. Probably one of the biggest Old Fashioned drinks I have had. The cheese curds and fried portobello apps are yummy. The pizza has a thin crispy crust loaded with fresh toppings and cheese. The cheese has that nice browning in some spots. I normally sit in the bar area. I actually had my wedding rehearsal dinner here. The restaurant side was big enough to accommodate all of my guests and other customers too. But we felt like we had the section all to ourselves. It was a lot of fun! The staff is always great and friendly. The prices are reasonable. Whenever I am in town I want to come here! read more

I came in for dinner and sat at bar, both bartenders were very friendly and attentive. I ordered beer, pizza and garlic bread. They brought out the bread before the pizza which was good since I was starving. I ordered the special in a 10" size and it was delicious. It came out piping hot and it was one of the best pizzas I have had in recent years. Check their off season hours of operation since it's not on the website. read more

Great thin-crust pizza, half-dozen cold beers on tap, kid-friendly environment. Sat at the bar and had a couple of cold brewskis and a large Supreme pizza. With all the games, and the friendly attention of the staff, the kids seem to be having a very good time here. Some folks sat next to us and set up to rent one of the party rooms. Seemed like a pretty good deal, no confetti allowed. The pizza is wonderful if you like very thin crust (I do). The toppings were generous, yet not so much that the pie got soggy. Really liked the sausage. The bartender waited on us, as we sat at the bar since all the tables in the bar area were full. Super friendly guy, had a nice chat about the local area. My family and I stopped here for pizza last week after biking down from Kewaunee, so we came with an appetite! My sister was diagnosed with Celiac last year, so we were eager to try out their gluten free crust. We also got a regular pizza for the rest of us. We all really loved our late lunch. I tried some of the GF pizza, and it was really quite excellent - very crunchy. And a fair price for the size! It also warmed up nicely in the oven the next day. I also appreciated that the employees were all wearing their masks (even to deliver us our pizzas at the table outside). They were very friendly. Loved the location at the edge of the state park and can see this becoming a summer tradition for us! read more

I'm giving an extra star just for the staff who delivered our food and the bar staff. Otherwise this is at best a 3-star establishment in my experience. This was a conveniently-located restaurant to our campground so it was a quick walk over, and we found a table quickly on a Friday night though it started filling up soon afterwards. The food was good, the spicy pickles were different but tasty and the large pizza was pretty decent and filling. The ambience was okay and the staff delivering the food were friendly and courteous. However, the method of ordering food and drinks at this place is unlike any I've ever seen. Order your food at one window and pay up front, then go over to the bar and order your drinks there and pay separately and haul them to your table yourself. So you have to leave your table and guests to place your food order then fetch any drinks you want. They do bring the food to you when it's ready... if they've entered your table number in the order correctly, that is. The appetizer-delivery-guy had to roam around a bit because his colleague didn't type in our table number correctly... even though I told him and pointed right at the table. And in both food and drink order locations the point-of-sale card swipe prompts you for a tip amount. ...What exactly am I tipping for here? In hindsight I'm irritated that I even bothered to tip at all, quite frankly, because even with some place like Dominos they bring your food and drinks TO you! I get that at a bar you typically tip, but overall I was kind of already soured on the whole thing well before I closed out my tab. Overall kind of an off-putting dining experience compared to other similar establishments we've tried. I think it's probably a great place for takeout but otherwise, I just don't know that I'd bother. read more

We plan our vaca to have pizza here on beach day every year. Unfortunately beach day rained out, but we still came for pizza. Boy, according to reviews read, we must have been there on a wrong night. Yes our food was terrific, but the scene that night was a mess. My friend & I were visiting her sister. We sat in the bar area, where we had to go up & place our orders. I just had a burger (delicious) but the other two wanted fish sandwiches. The bartender said that though they were on menu, the fish was "to expensive to do a sandwich" ( what ????), so they each ordered more expensive platter of it. We asked for three H2O, at which point he said "and what for the 4th....to which we said there are only 3 of us. As we were already eating, a 4th expensive platter showed up ( ???). Again, we said, only 3 of us. During the meal, a group came in & were EXTREMELY loud yelling at the video games, so that we couldn't even hear or talk. When my friends sister got the bill, it was over $70.00. I asked her to double-check, but it was so loud in there that we just wanted to get out. Sure enough, they had charged her for a 3rd fish platter !! To add insult to injury, when she called to talk to them about it, they hung up on her & blocked the number. So as far as this being a "friendly, neighborly place" you can cross it off or just get a to go order...but be certain to check your receipt for charges. read more

Never had a bad pie here. Great ingredient list including fresh garlic. They get busy during the summer months with a campground and bike trail in there back yard. They have the snow coaster pizza there specialty that will feed a family. I think the bar was cash only and you bring your own drink to dining room. read more

This place has great food and is very accommodating for group parties, such as a child's birthday party, because they have a separate area that can be reserved. One of the things that they are best known for is their PIZZA. They have the SnoCoaster size that you can order, which is a whopping 20 inches. They also offer X-Large at 17", Large at 15", Medium at 13", and Small at 10". They have all of the standard toppings and have several pre-defined special pizzas. Their newest entries, the Gourmet Chicken and the BBQ Chicken, are very good additions to their pizza offering and something you should try. They have special menu offerings during the dinner hours on Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, and Sunday. The restaurant is located just outside the entrance to the Point Beach State Forest and is located in pine tree surroundings. There is a bike trail (Rawley Point Bike Trail) that runs near it as well. The building has a dark brown log cabin appearance and the interior is something like a hunting lodge in appearance. The only down side to this place is that the bar area allows smoking (dining area is smoke-free) and that you have to order your beverages at the bar. The rest of your food order you can place at the order window within the dining area. If not for this arrangement, I would rate this restaurant a 5 out of 5 stars. While on vacation we passed through Two Rivers on a Friday and thought this would be a great time to experience a Wisconsin supper club fish fry. While browsing at a garage sale we asked the folks for a good fish fry location and they highly recommended Port Sand Bay. This place had a huge parking lot and as we found out they filled almost every spot by the time we left. The drinks were ice cold,the food was as good as it gets with almost to much to eat and the service was fast and friendly. I had the pike and my wife had the Haddock. This place is the true definition of a Wisconsin supper club,don't miss out you will be sorry if you do. read more

Port Sandy Bay is known for their pizza. They have some of the best pizza around. Friday nights they have fish fries. No matter the fish you get, it is always delicious. I would recommend this place to anyone who wants a delicious pizza or fish. This place is also kid friendly! There is a game room for kids. We were staying at Point Beach Cabins, and rode our bikes over to Port Sandy Bay. Its a large place with bar and dining room. We choose the bar side. They had plenty of good micro beers on tap. We went with the large 20" pizza. If you like thin crust, then this place is for you. It was ultra thin and crisp. We all enjoyed it and our time there. Serving Smelt on Wed, BBQ Ribs and Broasted Chix on Thurs; Haddock, Perch, Mock Lobster, Pike, Shrimp, and Cod on Fri; Broasted Chix on Sunday If you are staying nearby at Point Beach, the bike trail from the park has a turnoff to Port Sandy Bay marked with a sign. read more

I noticed a few bad reviews but I have always had good pizza. I have not ordered the fish but have been told it is good. Apparently other people like the food since there can be long waits for a table after 6:00 on the weekend. There have been a couple of owners but Port has been open for many years. My dad is 80 and he used to go there when he was young. read more

Liked this place, for what it was - a very casual pizza place in the middle of Wisconsin. The food was good - nothing exceptional but good, generous and well-priced, pizza fish, burgers. It was more casual than I expected and a kid place, with lots of kids everywhere - we had 2 young boys with us that loved the game room - which was nice to give them something to do while we adults chatted. it's not a quiet couples place, although there were couples sitting at the booths along the walls. Most of the wide open dining area is like a lumberjack dining hall with big long tables - great for big families, and there were plenty of those. You order your food at a counter and then they deliver it to you. Very close to Point Beach State Park. I'd go back if I was with kids or a big crowd. read more

I have to edit my previous review due to some a bad customer experience... and lower the rating... Was trying to order pizza the other day as I am a true fan of their pizza. I called 15 times (yes I said 15) to order a carryout order and the machine kept picking up telling me what their hours were. This was from 1:30-2pm on a Sunday. Wanting their pizza, I was upset, but drove to the restaurant and decided I'd order and wait. Upon arrival, there are 10-25 people sitting on picnic tables and standing around...there's a note on the door saying they weren't going to be opening until 2:30, and sorry for any inconvenience. Some people had been waiting over half an hour for them to open. If you state and have posted that you are going to be open, you should be open. Should there be a change in that, the least you could do is update your message on the machine, so one doesn't assume you are SO busy, you are on the phone, trying to place an order. Although the pizza is good, the customer service seems to be lacking. I'll take my business to Luigi's, the hours are consistent. Previous review: You want Pizza, this is where you go! Stopped in on Saturday afternoon around 2:30, place was fairly busy but not packed. Sat at the bar to order the bartender/ waitress spotted us pretty soon, she was busy with 3 other customers but she did turn to us and said she would be with us soon. Her name was Britt and I like the fact that she didn't just ignore us. We ordered a med size meat lovers, took about 10 minutes. the pizza was excellent we loved it, the sausage had a little kick to it but not overwhelming. We found out it is the owner's father who makes the sausage, very very good We will certainly come back. Prices were reasonable. read more

we were camping nearby and ate here twice on 4th of july weekend . the friday fish fry and pizza for the women's world cup soccer match. fish was a generous portion but the itty bitty coleslaw cup was disappointing. no baked potato option either.read up on how you order can be confusing for us first timers.the drink prices were reasonable and a good pour. the wings with bones (lime chili) were excellent and the pepperoni / green olive medium was just right for the 2 of us. don't be in a hurry and dont expect 5* service etc. but if you are in the area I don't think you can go wrong. we will go back for sure. read more
