Lower milk fat to the point of ice crystals. The flavors were all off too. Not much vanilla in the cream flavors. Some off flavors as well. Cookies and marshmallows all consumed. Years ago this was one of our favorite places to get ice cream and dessert. Fast fwd to 2022 it has been under new management for awhile and the desserts and drinks are disgustingly sweet. No where near the quality they used to be. Save yourself time and money go elsewhere. read more

Great selection of macaroons and gelato! I got the signature cookie cup which is gelato, a macaron and a toasted marshmallow on top. It was delicious! We also got a s'mores. I ordered a shake and the first person gave me a bit of an attitude because she didn't want to make a shake I guess maybe? But she stopped making it and served two people while I waited. Then a girl came out of the bathroom and dried her hands from the bathroom in the kitchen and stepped in and made my shake wrong. I basically got milk. I saw her whisper to the other girl "I don't know how to make it" so I'm assuming she either didn't know how or didn't care enough to make an actual milkshake. Either way sucks I paid 10$ + a high tip because the girl was staring at the tip I was making on the iPad to pressure me into tipping higher, for a weird not shake. read more

I was so excited to see a fatty daddy's opening up in Phoenix but I was extremely disappointed. They only had about 8 different flavors of ice cream and all very simple. I tried the peanut butter, chocolate chip, banana flavor and didn't like it at all. The place is also really hot it was 80 degrees inside which made it uncomfortable to sit in. read more

Overpriced and poor quality is how I would describe this place. I paid $22 for two waffle cone ice cream! The lady that was working there seemed like she didn't understand the menu when we pointed at the picture of Hong Kong style waffle cone and the fatty daddy cone. She nickel and dimed every part of the order even though the image and description of the two cones included double scoop and toppings. They need to do a better job of conveying the cost and not use false advertising. Our order did not look like the image of the two items we purchased. The quality of the ice cream was not very good. It tasted store bought rather than artisan/premium especially since the price is steep. Rather than paying $11 for a double scoop cone I suggest you take your money elsewhere and get a better experience. read more

Zero atmosphere inside, (3/4 empty cold case with a couple of pre-made croissant sandwiches and some bottles of soft drinks was about the only point of focus other than a disorganized menu chalk board). Service doesn't even approach indifference. Ice cream is good but nothing special to deserve $4.50/scoop. Crazily, you have to walk into the behind-the-counter area to throw your trash out as that is the only waste receptacle. I watched four people try and figure that one out. Most entertaining part of my visit. We live in the neighborhood and had been awaiting their opening for quite a while. Went there and got a $11 chocolate shake. They don't do samples. Turns out that the chocolate ice cream is made from coconut milk and tested horrible. There is nothing on the menu that says that the ice cream is made from coconut milk. Ended up throwing it away after one sip. There is only one size for the shakes (smaller size) so be prepared to get an expensive shake with no frills and tastes like coconut read more

The employee named Sophia was the sweetest!! Both workers were super nice and the vegan coconut icecream is top tier.

I was very disappointed with the price, proportions, and service. One would think that when ordering an ice cream cone, the ice cream would be above the actual cone. In fact only a third of the cone even had ice cream in it (maybe a quarter scoop). The response I received when I questioned the proportions was, "our business has not been able to be open very much" alluding to them likely going out of business. I get that times have been tough, but the customer service wasn't friendly so we will not be returning. We spent $20 for two adults and two kids and barely got 2 cups of ice cream; I feel ripped off. read more

Not only were we not even greeted by the gal behind the counter upon walking in, but also my boyfriend and I hardly received a single word from her during the whole transaction... Not to mention, the ice cream was sub par tasting and practically melted slush. Also, I'm not sure what the heck they are thinking with the tacky decor and lackluster curb appeal since their original location I hear is a Scottsdale gem (never been). Overall, my first impression sucked & not sure I want to spend my money there again when I can go get gelato down the street for a better experience & where people care about who I am. We've been here a few times since they've opened and our most recent visit was very good. The Irish Cream flavor gelato is my absolute favorite and very delicious. The price is a little high, but it's the closest ice cream shop to our place. They always seem to be open, which makes them a convenient ice cream stop. read more
