This is probably the best boiling alley I have ever visited. You registrar online for a great package deal. Everything is set up for you when you arrive. Even if you need bumpers. It's there for the kids and goes away when adult rolls. The customer service was stellar. From the front desk to the food service. Love fat cats! My son absolutely loves coming here and playing all the games(I do too). I love it because I'm always down to go to the movies! I recently watched night swim and man that movie was dumb as h*ll lol, if anyone is on the fence about seeing it just don't! What's cool about this theater is not only do the seats recline and are comfy but you can bring in your drinks from their bar or order their food and have it brought to your seat. The bowling is a blast too, just make sure to book your lanes in advance. The mini golfing is super cute and fun for all the family as well and is neon inside which creates a cool vibe. The event coordinator Michael and his team are AMAZING! My book club reserved a whole theater for the premiere of It Ends With Us and the execution of this was perfect! From a private bar with delicious drinks to photo ops and decorations, they killed it! They even had a book mark decorating station! The attention to detail was very appreciated! Rundown compared to the one in Queen Creek. 4/7 of our chairs didn't recline, smelt like dirty stank in the movie theater room, and wasn't even cool inside it. When we got in line we had wait about minute and half before the boys took our order while they were surrounded talking and that's as both times we got in line. What's going on FatCats all This money everyone spends here upgrade and get some decent management like QueenCreek. Only reason why we came here was because Queen Creek was sold out and this one all the seats were open, now we know why!!!! read more

We're on vacation with our grandson and had a limited amount of time for a quick round of mini golf and bowling. They usually only book hour slots for bowling but we didn't have that much time so the manager arranged for us to have a lane for 30 minutes, which was very kind. Don't bother! It's fairly cheap, but 60% of the games don't work/ aren't maintained by staff. The miniature golf is TERRIBLE. This is a waste of money and time! Stay home or go to Main Event. I'm embarrassed for the staff here. Just incredibly lame. read more

I recommend choosing Fat Cats for your birthday party destination. There are several packages that you can choose from (including bowling and arcade games) and all of the packages are reasonably priced. You can reserve your party online, in person or via phone at 4804701766. Some of the nice features that you get in your package are a designated location, a party host and an event planner that follows up with you prior to the party to ensure you you have the best experience. My event planners were Emily and Karen. They were both great! They would respond quickly to any question I had about the event via text message and even called me the day prior to the party to ask me what color decorations I wanted. Emily also asked if I wanted to order any additional platters in advance to ensure enough food options for my guests. On day of party, Tylee (my host) ensured everything was set up and ready. She helped entertain the guest and would provide them with bowling shoes and even helped serve the pizza! The Fat Cats employees were very friendly and I even shared my cupcakes with them! :) All in all a great party at a reasonable price! Highly recommend! read more

I have gone here several times and never have to wait for a bowling lane. Restrooms are always clean, employees are always nice, and there's a wide selection of bowling ball sizes. On my most recent visit, Lisa was the attendant helping me. She made sure I had a quieter lane away from other groups, which I really appreciated. I love going to this place! read more

I really like Fat Cats in Gilbert. The wife and kids go out of their way to pick movies here when it's movie night. I am 6'5 and a bigger guy. The seats are extremely comfortable and I like that they recline. I love that we can go online and reserve seats also, since when we do go it is with our entire family and the kids friends usually. When we get there we don't need to mess around with talking or waiting in line. I can just go to the machine and print off our tickets I bought online. The parking area can be crowded and hard to find a space at times. The food is pretty average and I think could use an upgrade on quality. They have quite a bit to offer there for "fun" . Arcades, bowling etc. I haven't used anything but the movie portion so I really can't comment to much on that part. Tuesdays are $5 per movie, all day. Awesome since I am off on Tuesdays. It kind of sucks to go alone, but I like the price. I wish this was a nationwide chain, but executives would find a way to really screw it up or some foreign company would buy it and probably ruin it, and then I would have to search for another gem to entertain me. read more

Been here numerous times for bowling and some drinks. The bartender there is a wonderful guy, I wish I remembered his name. Always very efficient, friendly, and personable. I always hope he's working when we go there. The staff is friendly, there's a lot to do, and we can easily spend hours here having a lot of fun without spending a lot of money. I have hosted two youth bowling events here and they have been super friendly and accommodating both times. The staff was helpful and even set up a check in table for us. Well-organized and well-priced. I would recommend this place for any family-friendly event you are planning. Beyond that, I like that they have a variety of activities for all ages. We wanted to throw a surprise party for our 17 year old son, and Fat Cats was the perfect venue for it. Their events department was very welcoming and helpful, so kudos to Laura and Bailey for that. We chose the TopCat Bowling package, which costs $20 pp. (it's slightly more expensive on weekend nights and there are other packages to choose from)The price includes a lot: pizza, drinks, balloons and paper goods, 90 minutes of bowling, one round of mini golf, and a $5 arcade card for guests. (Also a tee-shirt for the birthday child.) You have a designated party host, and Elizabeth did a fantastic job of making sure everyone was taken care of, handling the pizza, birthday treat distribution and group photo. She also kept the area neat and clean. Now that my son is almost off to college, there weren't many appealing places to hold his party. He has outgrown places like Bounce U and Krazy Air, and his crowd isn't really the Airsoft type. Main Event is good, but a much longer drive for all of our northeast Mesa friends. If you're looking for a good party spot for your teen, I really think Fat Cats meets your needs. read more

Fat Cats is pretty lit it was a pretty good place for a member of my family to work and they offer a lot of great things for kids to do- When it's raining outside or too HOt in the Summer! As I recall they have some glow in the dark mini golf and they offer movies so AMC needs to get busy cleaning up and posting new pictures of how far they have come in listening to previous complaints. read more

I walk in and there are two long lines for the concession stand. After waiting several minutes in line and then ordering I was informed the card system was down and only cash or gift cards were being taken. At no time did anyone attempt to let the people in line of the situation. I was told it has been down all day. Frustrating!!! read more

But then the female manager told me I had to pay for a large soda for the water. Which, has to be hands down the greediest policy I've ever heard. I was in Mesa over the Thanksgiving holiday and we were all getting quite bored being trapped in the house after a few days. After some debate we decided on bowling. I called a few of my friends and asked them where the best place to bowl in Mesa was and Fat Cat's was the unanimous winner. I was glad this place was recommended. The alley was available quickly (20 Min wait) and were able to play a few arcade games while we waited. We ordered some fries (sampler), chicken wings, burgers, and tenders and to my surprise every single thing was quite good. When I order food at places like this I have very low expectations but I was pleasantly surprised how good the food here. The staff was also veery friendly, helpful, and accommodating. The games in the arcade were all very entertaining and my kids had a blast. As usual they are quite expensive but this is just the new way of the arcade games. The only downside and the reason for the 4 stars was they do not let you reserve a lane and the computer system to control the bowling games was not very functional. This place is so fun to visit with or without kids. Movie theater, bowling alley, arcade games, full food area full bar area, miniature golfing and sports screens/massive TVs. Movie Theater: I love the full lazy boy recliners. I love, love, love that they deliver your food right to your seat. I love that you can schedule and lock in your seats. Food: I can't believe how fresh and great tasting their pizza, wings, salad, cookies, and burgers are. I don't usually expect great food at theaters. Their prices for all food here are really competitive. Miniature Golf: It's just ok. Nothing really great about their indoor miniature golfing area. Bowling Alley: Wow. Impressed. They have 8-10 full size lanes that are always in working order. They bring food right to you. They have several massive TV screens to watch and to bowl. Arcade Games: Impressed! They only keep popular arcade games. State of the art. We go here 3 times a week and we literally have never been disappointed. read more

FatCats is my 60 year old dad's favorite theater these days. We went and saw a movie this past Saturday. The seats are nice and spacious but there were no trays for our food. Also my parents waited over 30 mins for their sandwich to come and it was cold when it arrived. In the past my mother has ordered pretzel bites and they were stale and had freezer burn. Otherwise we always have a nice time. It was very busy this past Saturday and draws a large crowd of kids because they have bowling and mini golf and arcade games. During the movie there were about 10 middle school aged kids sitting next to me and they were talking, looking on their phones, and moving around the entire movie. Staff came in and told them to be quiet in the last twenty minutes of the movie but it had already ruined half of the movie for me. read more

I cannot say enough great things about this location. After we had booked a birthday party for our (soon to be) five year old at C.E.C. who failed to open their doors in the morning (for our paid for bday reservation) leaving us with 10, 4-5 year olds running around a parking lot... I called in a panic to Gilbert Fat Cats and spoke with Cher, she could tell that I needed to find a place to hold this party in a hurry! She said "just get your party here I will have it all figured out for you by the time you get here" AND SHE DID! We were not able to get a "Party Host" because of the last minute set up and that was totally fine with me, but Talan really stepped up and was super attentive, Talan and Cher went above and beyond not only to make sure that we had everything that we needed, but to also help all of our party guests have a great time!
