Overcooked burger
Brenda S.

Garbage, garbage, garbage!!!! DISGUSTING!! Expensive, expensive, expensive!!!!! $16.40 for a cold, overcooked, greasy burger with fries (menu states shoestring, they're steak fries) and a Pepsi, which I hate but, it was my ONLY option. They were out of everything! You must order a hamburger and pay extra for EVERYTHING ELSE! $8.00 for a cold, extremely lightly fried chicken patty with lettuce no mayo as ordered You can't understand the staff and there is a very slow, lackadaisical attitude towards customers and food preparation. I threw my meal away! DISGUSTING! Meet up across the street at McDonald's, which is not a favorite but, it sure is tasted better than that garbage at Fatburger! We've been wanting to try it for a long time and now that we did, it will definitely be our first and last time! Save your time and money and go to Wendy's. I KNOW I'll get a GOOD BURGER THERE!!! Heck, at those prices, you can eat cheaper at or order from Pine Barn Inn. REAL FOOD.

This is attached to the Mobil gas station in Danville PA which is 148 miles northwest of Philadelphia PA, that has the most modern touch screen gas pump stations. The tapping feature for the credit card on bottom didn't work for me but the card reader and quick removal works just fine. I love how big the screen is and how easy to see. So you have the travel station w ample open parking, the Mobil gas station, bathrooms, snacks and drinks and alcohol. So back to the Fatburger restaurant (they started in 1952) inside ... it's a take out plus dine in inside the station w 2 tables and lots of stool chairs to see the outside while you eat. The kids meal was $8.65 for a large fountain drink w choices of soda and lemonades and iced tea, a hamburger w cheese and options of lettuce, pickles, onion, mustard, tomato, mayo, and relish, and the best skinny fries I ever had! They were perfectly fried and fresh and lightly crispy and not overdone and not overly salted. It was made just white and perfectly warm. I am so happy and satisfied I stopped for gas here. The nice added touch about the hamburger creatively and efficiently wrapped so you could eat it while driving and not get your fingers dirty. I love all the little things people pay attention to. Fatburgers! Thank you. Quality service and a great deal at a simple inside a gas station store.

Hot ranch, Small Boneless Wings (6 Pcs)

I got an order of boneless hot ranch wings. They were not good. They were drowning in sauce and they were fatty and the batter was not good. The onion rings were soggy and the batter fell off of the onion rings. The french fries were good. I ordered an Oreo milkshake, but I think the previous milkshake was made with banana because that was all I was able to taste. The wait was long and the cost was $40 which included a hamburger, the hamburger was good.

Not much ambience, as it's in a gas station off the highway, but it was clean off and had two or three tables.

The beer selection and interior design were more impressive than the food…read more Both beers we ordered were poured well and had good citrus and hoppy notes. No complaints there. Besides the staple menu, there was a rotating menu featuring a soup, mussel dish, flatbread, burger, and pasta. The food took some time to come out, and everything was rather bland across the board. The interior was decorated nicely for the holidays though. *Hummus Platter: a huge shareable for $10. The crispy naan resembled the Costco version but fried. The naan itself worked well as a base for the hummus, although the hummus was neither smooth nor flavorful. There was no fragrance from the chickpeas, and it tasted rather unseasoned. The selection of peppers, carrots, and cucumbers was decent. *Garlic Butter Mussels: their monthly mussel dish. The mussels were cooked well and coated in a one dimensional sauce. The sweet wine was cooked down with lots of garlic, while the butter was subtle. I wished there had been a bit more toasted baguette to balance the one pound of seafood. Note there is a 3% credit card surcharge. I could not find this listed on their menu and but I saw the charge on my receipt. I enjoyed the few beers I had, and the food was acceptable for a bar. With some improvement to the flavors, this could be a worthwhile visit for a bite and a drink.

Came here for lunch while on a business trip. I had the burger with fries. The burger was delicious…read morethe brioche bun was very good soft and fluffy. The fries were crispy on the outside but still fluffy on the inside. They were dry service was good not many people in the restaurant for lunch. It was a Tavern type of decor. My only issue was the beer cheese. It tasted too much like beer. The beer flavor was definitely over powering. The other special sauce wasn't great but it wasn't bad either. A typical thousand island type of sauce. But over all it was pretty solid. I would comeback and try something else.
