Just left this restaurant and ordered a whiting fish plate that was the worst. Ask the cashier before I order if the fish was filleted and was told yes. Well needless to say got my plate home and as soon as I opened it, I knew I had a hot mess. Fish was cooked in old grease and so were the fries. Fries also were ice cold. Be careful with this restaurant! I ordered a flounder plate to go. The price on the menu was 11.99$ I taped my card to fast and saw 15.99$. I ask the guy at the register why was it $15.99. He said because we have not updated all of our menu prices. The first few menus on top said 11.99$. He dug down in the stack and found one that had the wording flounder is a extra charge. This is a new restaurant in Raleigh. I ordered garlic Parmesan wings they were coated in a wet sauce very good! They had a little kick to it but only mild. Onion rings were decent, more breading than onion. Mac and cheese was creamy and very good. Lots of flavor. They have okra on the menu but the girl said they don't carry okra yet. I tried my daughters shrimp and it was also very tasty. My brother ordered Philly chicken steak and gave it a rating of 2. It was very dry and tasteless. He asked for blue cheese to give some flavor and it was never brought over. There was minimal chicken in it and not much cheese. He said the French fries were good though.Music playing was good to listen to. Chairs are small and not really comfortable but the restaurant is clean and food came quick and it was hot. They came to my place of work today (we invite a different food truck every Friday), and they were fantastic. You get a lot of food for you money, and the prices are reasonable. I got the fish platter, which included two monster sized pieces of fish, fries, a piece of toast, and hushpuppies (need more than 2 next time, guys), and a soda for $9. Tasted great, cooked well. They were amazing to work with - very easy and responsive to get time, date, food options arranged. They arrived early and customer service and food were excellent. One child even said "the best chicken ever"! The burger I had was so juicy I was left craving another one and wished I could find them somewhere the next day :). Ordered a classic burger without chili and coleslaw on it and mac and cheese. The burger I paid $10 for was bland as all get out (yes, I understand I did not get two of the items on it). The actual burger though was like somebody just slapped some ground beef on the grill! No seasoning whatsoever. It was also falling apart as soon as I opened the foil. The mac and cheese was better and nice and stringy with real cheese on top although it was also super bland. The wait wasn't long at all.
