This place rocks! Ordered a medium slushee with watermelon and pina colada. Very good! Stays frozen. You are able to walk the streets with the slushee too.

I was so excited when I saw Fat Tuesday because I always go when I am in Vegas. The drinks are consistent and all flavors are tasty. The strawberry is my fave and go-to drink. The electric lemonade is also very good. And strawberry and mango together is probably my favorite combo. My mom likes the strawberry and pina colado, which is a popular combo. The lady working was super friendly and nice. I like that you can buy drinks to go and walk the streets with them here in NOLA. I tried the strawberry Jell-O shot, and I would not recommend. It was horrible. But I love the choices in sizes and some of the larger cups are refillable for a cheaper price, so if you're gonna drink or be here for a few days it's probably worth it to get the refillable cups. It's dead inside because most people take their drinks and leave to walk around the streets and explore.

Super fun! Always great to get a slushy on Bourbon Street. Both drinks were strong and tasted great.

If you like strong alcoholic slushies, then this is the place for you! I've had Fat Tuesdays in Vegas before and didn't realize they also operated in New Orleans. When I walked by some folks holding that distinctive shaped-cup, I was immediately intrigued and got it when I saw the store. We went in around 10 pm on a Wednesday and it was super empty. They have 2 tables in the back, but for the most part I think people grab a drink and leave (yay for the open container policy in New Orleans!). I got their smallest size, a regular cup, for $11. They have a ton of flavors, but I kept it simple and went with the frozen margarita, which was absolutely delicious. I love alcoholic slushies, so stores like Fat Tuesday were made for people like me :)

Not worth it. I used to be a huge Fat Tuesday fan, but $25 for a frozen drink is wild. That's a bottle price lol

Wanna get your daiquiri on? There are several of these dotted all around the French Quarter. Have you even been to Bourbon Street if you're not walking around with one of these? Tasty, frozen and refreshing, the only complaint is they are quite expensive.

OMG how have I never been to a Fat Tuesday before?! Apparently it's a chain but this was my first time seeing one, and since trying them that first day, I went back everyday until I finally left New Orleans. Lol. I thought the concept was pretty cool, with the wall of spiked slushy machines filling up the wall behind the bar. The daquiries and spiked slushies are pre-mixed and are organized from strongest to weakest. They allow two samples and they also let you mix flavors. Since l went back several times, I actually tried most of their flavors and my favorites were the Electric lemonade, peach bellini, and pineapple and amaretto. I think I was just in the mood for tropical slushies at the times I stopped by, which was usually in the afternoon when it was blazing hot out. Anyways, Fat Tuesday's alcoholic slushies are the perfect pick-me-up on a hot a day, or anytime really!

I got pina colada and strawberry mixed. Taste ok but it was annoying carrying the bottle on bourbon st. However i feel if u come to Nola u should try for the experience. Its a takeout place.

These drinks are strong. These drinks are frozen. These drinks are affordable. Sorry...what else is there? The 190 Octane is strong and tastes like Orange. This is exactly what I need on a 90+ degree night in the Quarter. More please!

I love this place, I have always been but in other cities but never on Bourbon. It was worth the trip. I couldn't finish my slushie, I got the biggest one. The ladies in there were the best, the sweetest attitudes and such shinning personalities. They add to the magic of Bourbon St.

$15 each, BUT $10 to refill, so worth it, especially if you drink more than 2

Delicious and strong daiquiris. First, the daiquiris are in order from strongest to weakest, 2nd get the $15 cup in the Koozie, its $10 to refill, best bang for your buck, 3rd ALWAYS get the extra shot, whether its well or top shelf, GET IT, 4th ask for samples. The fruit basket and the panty dropper were my absolute favorites.

Ever since discovering this chain just this past March in Tempe, AZ, I've been to two additional locations all by chance, in Key West, FL and this one in New Orleans on Bourbon Street which I believe is their number two location to open after the original one in Hammond, LA. ATMOSPHERE: They're located in the heart of the bustling portion of Bourbon Street. I didn't get to poke around the place as I had one mission: A Creamsicle daiquiri to go. The large bar greets you with the numerous daiquiri machines churning a colorful palette of flavors as its enticing backdrop. DAIQUIRI: I simply love their daiquiris but order the same thing, the Creamsicle, a tri-combination of flavors which are 190 Octane, 151 Colada and Banana. It has Everclear in it so you'll be feeling real good after just one. All three locations have been consistently good; thick, icy, perfect sweetened and with the right amount of alcohol to mix ratio. They're available in four sizes (12, 20, 32, 40 oz.). The 20 oz. has been my go-to so far. Taste-wise its like a blended creamsicle popsicle which you can't really taste the Everclear but you'll definitely feel it after! I've never had a drink that tasted so good and is able to relax and make me happy all at the same time. FACT: Established in 1983, they're two companies in one. New Orleans Original Daiquiris that serves just daiquiris, and Fat Tuesday which serves daiquiris and food. SERVICE: I don't expect much as I'd be immune too with the numerous faces, some drunken, they see day in and day out. Machine-like works for me! Just make my drink and don't steal my credit card info and we're good to go. OVERALL: I'd love a location on Maui but not so sure if my liver and waistline would agree.

Had to come here! They have a location on Bourbon street but beware as this location can get pretty busy: when we went there was only one person working so the line took a little long. They have a lot of flavors to choose from and they have different sizes you can pick from and also get discounts for refills.

The presentation of the food came was amazing. We ordered the linguine and added meatballs, which was well worth it. We also ordered the shrimp & grits, which included Brussels sprouts. Boy, it was sure nice to get some vegetables in my stomach after eating all that yummy fried food during our stay! All in all, both dishes were delicious. It is a little on the pricey side, but after several days of eating in the touristy area of the French Quarter, this was truly a welcome change. Service was polite and attentive. I always appreciate the staff's efforts by making simply making eye contact and smiling (which they did). Seems trivial but I think those small things says a lot about a business. I would recommend this restaurant even if you are not a guest of the hotel.

The ambiance is amazing, plus velvet, emerald and sapphire tone, glitzy, and feels like a good photo op. The bar and cocktail menu looked expansive. However, I was going to be hopping on a meeting, so I could not partake, unfortunately. A group got this impressive tower of espresso martini and everyone seemed to be enjoying their drinks! I wanted that New Orleans seafood but had late lunch, so I opted for just the crispy gulf shrimp on cheesy grits. I really wished I can hungrier because the dish ended up being very heavy. The shrimp were nice and crispy. The charred Brussels sprouts gave me the false sense that this was a healthy dish because I was getting my veggie intake. The bacon jam was sweet and went well with the Brussels sprouts. I loved the combination of the cheesy grits and the Crystal hot sauce. It was the perfect amount of both and some how led me to understand why Americans put hot sauce on their Mac n cheese and some other cheesy dishes after 30 years of not really understanding the attraction to that combo. I got the marinated olives to go so I could have a little snack later. They were just stuff I feel I could get in a jar... not really sure if I could justify the price. I think this is a fine place if you're looking for a photogenic night out drinking with a group of friends. Could be really cute for brunch!

My wife and I visited on our first NoLa trip together about 4 years ago and make it a point to go every time now. Our first time we stopped in for lunch at the bar and had an excellent experience, and decided to return. We came back on the next trip just to grab a drink and a snack before heading down for dinner in the Bywater. The bartender (Chris) gave a bunch of recommendations for places to visit that way, all of which we have done in the past few trips and have loved. But it's this past trip where we were truly blown away. We were in town for JazzFest and after walking back to the French Quarter, we were thinking about food options and decided to take a gamble to see if we could get a seat at the bar or maybe grab a drink for the road before getting food somewhere else. The bar was full when we got there around 8/8:15, but they had a no show and could serve us, as long as we ordered quickly and were ok with the check hitting the table right at 9PM. Given our slightly (perhaps generous) inebriated state from being at the festival all day and being slightly underdressed, we felt this was quite a kind accommodation. With the clear expectations of needing to get our orders in quickly, we wasted no time making a decision on our drinks and a few food options. Despite this need for a quick turn around, at no time did we feel rushed. The food and drinks were absolutely perfect, as they always are. But what impressed us most was the staff. At no point did the hostess or wait staff seem annoyed by us, despite us parachuting in from a music festival and looking like sunburn and poor decisions. By managing expectations on the front end, we never felt rushed despite the need for a quick turn around. They were all lovely, professional, and as cordial as if we were regulars with standing reservations once a week. In terms of atmosphere, it is always perfect: lively and fun for a date night, dinner with friends/family, or just a nice drink before a night out and about. I truly cannot begin to explain how much I love this restaurant and every experience I've had there. The awards and accolades this establishment (a sincere and lofty term Jewel of the South truly deserves) have been awarded are beyond well earned. Restaurants around the country should aspire to provide the quality of food, service, and overall hospitality Jewel of the South provides on a regular basis. It will continue to be our first and foremost recommendation to anyone we know who is going to New Orleans. Bravo! We shall return!
