Literally the worst bar I've ever been to. They initially offered us coke and heroine. They then tried to scam us and charge us double what we bought. At one point they told us they were calling the police because we refused to pay the bill. The manager actually continued to try to scam us instead of remedy the situation. Visited on Christmas Day around 8pm 2020. Very bad experience. Several servers did not wear masks properly after I told them several times. They say the bar is cash only but I didn't find out until the end - even though they had signs that says they accept visa and a sign that says they do not accept credit . I love me some Fat Tuesdays but this one - not so sure. There wasn't a cover charge which is great when places like Cogo Bongo charges 30 a person [crazy!] but the inside was ehh. It was pretty packed and some people were dancing on the small stage and even the bar. Maybe I'm too old? The drinks were obviously overpriced, I had the large mango drink which was really good, not extremely strong. The female workers ruined it for me- one of them approached me and played with my breasts and placed a shot cup near my private area. Total invasion of privacy and extreme discomfort. I LOVE this location! We came here on a Saturday afternoon (no cover) and just got a drink to go (the "suicide" literally ALL of the frozen daiquiris in one cup lol). The staff was cool and we stayed behind for a few mins chatting with them and told them we would come back that evening. You can pay cash or card @ the door for the cover which includes UNLIMITED drinks- but they do NOT take Discover. It was sooo fun here. If I could give any advice to the people of Cancun it would be to avoid this trash place. The waitress practically shoved tequila shots in our face putting us in the position where we couldn't refuse them, and then afterward proceeded to ask all of us for 12 dollars for a barely filled shot of tequila. SCAM ALERT. WARNING DO NOT COME HERE. 1) A very slick and pushy female employee came to our table and pushed tequila shots on us. She would not leave us alone despite harshly saying we weren't interested. One of the members of our party eventually accepted some shots. The woman also drank shots herself and then after we declined additional shots multiple times, she immediately demanded to be paid in cash for all the shots we drank and all shots SHE drank at $15 each in cash. They refused to provide a receipt for this. We asked for the manager and he refused to do anything and told us we must pay. Total scam. 2) When we paid the rest of our bill, we were at first given inadequate change and had to demand a copy of the bill and only after arguing were we given all of our change. read more

During the day, its a bit slow as people are recovering from the previous night. During the evening, this place plays pretty good music and you have a great view of the strip watching people walk around from all over the world. I had a BLAST at Fat Tuesday in Cancun! What is there not to love? I paid and got my money's worth of those frozen drinks in a rather long cup. This was where my friends and I started out before a night of partying that ended with us meeting our fake future husbands and a few dozen tacos. Is it a little pricey? Sure, but there is no cover charge and if you want to go somewhere that you're familiar with the drinks and menu, then this is it. The music is ON POINT if you're into hip hop and R&B, lots of classics. You're also in for a show because some of the women drop it... real low, which is hilarious to watch. Would I go back? I'm usually a huge fan of Fat Tuesday's but I'm not too sure about this particular location. They charge to enter at night and on the weekends, but if you go in the daytime, entry is free. At night the music is definitely on point. I just wanted a lil something because I live for their drinks, but I didn't have one of my refillable cups. I'm gonna blame me not feeling the drink on the size of the little plastic cup and my high tolerance because I did taste the alcohol.....a little lol. I mixed Strawberry and mango. After walking around & trying to decide where to go we ended up here we wanted to just hang out drink & not have to pay to get in this is one of the few places that does not have a cover charge. We came in got a table & settled in they have a great offer for $25 US dollars u can get unlimited drinks minus the frozen not bad for $30 u can get the unlimited that includes the frozen drinks either way u go u can't beat the price pretty sweet. Some of us got the $25 option some got the $30 , I tried the Margaritas on the rocks regular since they didn't seem to have any other flavors not bad I ended up sticking with this for the night after quite a few of these definitely had a nice buzz. On the frozen margaritas don't recall the other flavor but the Mango frozen was really good. The place is small & it's crazy hot , there are plenty of tables plus the frozen bar & a small stage where u can get up & dance the staff also puts on a little bit of a show. Everyone is pretty much dancing , drinking & just having a great time. Music wise is pretty good unlike a lot of the other places they seem to play more hip hop than others, not bad specially since they were playing good hip hop. The staff is cool & fun , they encourage u to dance & get crazy all in good fun & makes for a more interesting night. A tourist trap and mecca for students on spring break. This place is a lot of fun. I'll give it that. It's a total dive, but still very fun. It caters to the American tourist crowd and isn't populated by the locals at all. Stop in, meet more American tourists on vacation and listen to American pop music from ten years ago. The drinks are pricey for a dive, but again, it's a cheesy tourist bar for the most part. Nonetheless, girls get lots of free drinks and the dudes never do. It's a tourist game. In fact, there's a vast display of unmentionables hanging on the wall behind the bar, which just proves my point. Heck, the bartenders encourage women to show off their assets in order to score free drinks. Beware, the drinks are huge and strong as hell. They do have good margaritas, as well as a decent selection of draft beers, but they seem to be plugging body shots and not much else. If you are a college student on spring break, particularly a 21 year old female, then you are their desired demographic. read more

If you've been to other Fat Tuesday's you know it's loud, festive, and giant sugary high alcohol drinks. Cancun FT is not far off with a few differences. The wait staff was their normal wild crew and attentive, a little too attentive to my girlfriend and what I would describe as unwanted attention and suggestions. We aren't what you would call conservative but there is a line. Further the creepy bathrooms where it's like a maze, which resulted in my girlfriend being drawn into a room where a staff member made some unwanted suggestions. The prices are very high but the imposed gratuity is fine albeit unusual for Cancun where I find most wait staff very appreciative for any tip. Clearly having a "circus barker" from the tattoo parlor next door greeting you on your way in, "I'm at Fat Tuesdays bitch" scrolling on a sign facing the street, and "Tips or sex" buttons are good indicators of the sleaziness of this location. All for partying and saw the same "Sex or Tips" at Carlos and Charlie's, a little less threatening than at FT. We won't be back and would suggest not letting your lady go alone to the rest room. The waitresses were really pushy and one came over and practically forced us to take a shot of tequila and then charged us $11 for it even after we told her we didn't want it. There's no cover charge, and you can select their alcoholic-infused frozen smoothies, or whatever tickles your fancy. Just like any typical bar in Cancun, they have ladies who offer you shots (for a price) and encourage you to drink more, but with me being a single lady, I avoided that hot mess. We are on vacation in Cancun and decided to go downtown last night because we've had an awful vacation thus far due to covid (expected) and the hurricane (unexpected). We were recommended to go here and when we arrived it seemed like a very hoppin place. The bouncer gave me and my husband several up and down looks and then said they were full and wouldn't take anymore patrons. Two seconds after we were given this information a huge group of people who didn't look like us were admitted. When they saw we were upset for being lied to they had their waitress come over and throw a drink menu at us but we still couldn't come in. 1) you already Cleary profiled us and thought we weren't good enough for your establishment. 2) I'm not giving you business if you can't even let me in. So, when I walked in, they were playing some HITS. I mean there wasn't a DJ, but their music mix was impressive. I order this drink, which according to the bartender was $20.00(usd). Now I've been to a few Fat Tuesdays and that was not the price for the souvenir cup. Later, I was informed that the "all you can drink" price is actually 20.00 (usd). So I am disappointed about the prices especially because I do not think they were fair. The flavors were good though. I selected the strongest three and it was a good mix. Meh! I'll give it a 2 thumbs up only because they played hip hop music and not annoying house music. I'm 25 and I certainly felt to old for this place. Seems like a typical college party. Extremely packed and charge was I believe either $30-$40 to get in, that included an open bar wrist band. The open bar is interesting because you can't just walk up to the bar and order your drink. Before going into Fat Tuesday they assign you a waiter that you can only order your drinks from the entire night. Now imagine trying to hunt down your waiter in a completely full venue that's not to mention dimly lit. Complete joke! We were lucky to order 3 drinks from our waiter before waiting just got annoying. Would I come back again, heck NO! Had a yard of some fruity booze its was pretty good from what I can remember..Lol. Fat Tuesdays in Cancun has a nice view for people watching and getting an ice cold drink. Its right down by all the night clubs and market where all the action is happening. I have been there once in the evening and it was fun. The other time was the middle of the day and it was very slow. I have been to Fat Tuesday in Vegas and in Key West as well and love them. You get a nice buzz and listen to some good music.
