It's a prime spot for watching sports -- giant screens line the walls and hang over the central bar, so there's truly not a bad seat in the house. It's clearly a popular takeout spot too; they had a whole section blocked off just for pickups. Eva was our server and did a great job checking in throughout the game. Food took a while to come out, but with a packed house during the Super Bowl, that's expected. Honestly, it worked out -- it helped me pace my snacking strategically. The two of us shared the Ultimate Sampler (mozzarella sticks, onion rings, pretzel bites, and crispy dippers). The standout was definitely the pretzel bites with beer cheese -- elite combo. And you can never go wrong with mozzarella sticks dunked in marinara. We also ordered 10 boneless wings -- half honey garlic, half lemon pepper dry rub. My only critique is that they felt more like glorified chicken tenders because of the heavy breading. That one's on me; I just wouldn't order them again. Throughout the game, they had solid specials: $6 Mango Cart and $2 beers (Bud Light/Coors Light) during the two-minute drill. Overall, it's a great place to camp out for a big game, graze for hours, and soak in the hype.

THEY HAVE THE MOST SCRUMPTIOUS CHICKEN WINGS. I can't tell you how many orders of chicken wings our table ordered because we just kept ordering more. The honey garlic and mango habanero were my favorite. Seriously, try their chicken wings. We also ordered pasta dishes and some other items which were all good but nothing compared to the chicken wings. We'll definitely be by if and when we make our way to Canada again.

Arrived during the hottest day of the year so far to find a nice cool, clean, classy interior. Was immediately greeted by a friendly hostess who seated me immediately. Restaurant was moderately quiet. Water and menu obtained, I perused the choices and decided Pizza was the thing. The pizza prices were a bit on the high side for a franchise place but the descriptions were promising with some interesting ingredients. Then I spotted it on the bottom of the menu...the Fig Pig. How could I not try it! About 15 minutes later it arrived, I took the first bite and Oh My Lord...when they redo the menu, it needs to be at the top. This is my new favorite pizza in Bellingham. Salty, crispy, meaty and sweet. It hits all the hot buttons. The crust is actually tasty, the pork is perfectly done. It was freaking delicious. Even better, once I finished half the pizza...it was that good...and a box and the check were delivered...the pizza was half off. I called the hostess over to ask if it was a mistake and she said all pizzas are half off on Tuesdays. I now know my Tuesday dinners. I've told a bunch of people now and will be taking my neighbors next Tuesday. Oh and turns out it's not a franchise but a family run restaurant.and it was staring me in the face the entire time. In the words of Arnold Schwarzenegger...I'll be back.

My favorite of the evening was the prawn cocktail--this isn't your typical tiny shrimp soaking in red sauce in a fluted ice cream Sunday glass. Noooooooo. Fat gorgeous and juicy prawns laid down on swirls of very delicious sauce, served with a little side of arugula. Not to be too under-prawned, I also ordered the prawn farro salad. This, too, was a lovely preparation. I didn't enjoy it as much as I found the dressing on the farro a bit sweet for my taste--but I can change it up to an aioli or mignonette or something other upon request which will be perfect. The wonderful Gillian invented two n/a mocktails for me: a watermelon, basil spritz that was delightfully refreshing and an n/a Piña Colada--as they were out of pineapple juice, she substituted orange juice which I actually liked even better!
