Our party table set up for the tween girls to start decorating cookies!! @fatcatcookiecompany
April S.

We request Unicorn and rainbow cookies undecorated with frosting for a "Cookie Decorating Party" for our daughter's 11th birthday. @fatcatcookiecompany did not disappoint! 2 dozen baked cookies and more than enough frosting to please 7 excited 11 year old girls. She gave us 3 decorated examples and a personalized cookie for the birthday girl. Best part of all was that everyone loved the cookies. Best sugar cookies we have had!! Looking forward to our next order!!

i love you not

Not only are the cookies super yummy they are amazingly cute! I was fortunate to have some adorable Galentines day cookies sent to me. They were so pretty I didn't want to eat them, but I'm glad I did!

Wow! These are such beautiful and delicious cookies! My mother received super cute cat cookies for her birthday and could not have been more thrilled. The cookies are just the right texture and flavor. The poinsettia cookie was absolutely stunning! Will definitely be using Fat Cat Cookie Company in the future.

Annie went above and beyond to prepare her adorable Christmas tree creation for an event at work! The tree was amazing and the cookies were delicious!

We ordered the Dust Storm: a vanilla milkshake with chocolate bits, topped with a giant blondie skewered dramatically on top, plus whipped cream, sprinkles, and chocolate drizzle. The rim of the jar was coated in marshmallow dip and graham cracker crumbs because apparently subtlety has left the chat. Honestly, the presentation was on point and exactly the kind of milkshake kids dream about. Which is why we ordered it. My tween declared it "the best milkshake I've ever seen in my life," and honestly, that alone made it worth the stop on our mother-daughter trip. Taste-wise, it leaned very sweet for me and didn't have a ton of flavor depth beyond sugar overload. But clearly the goal here is maximal fun and aesthetic, and they absolutely nailed that. It's basically a photo op you can drink. The shop itself was surprisingly quiet when we visited in the evening--we had the whole place to ourselves--but there were games to play while waiting for our order (we pulled out Pick Up Sticks, which transported me straight back to my 90s childhood living room). The ladies at the counter were also incredibly kind and patient explaining the menu and flavors to us. If you're looking for an over-the-top dessert experience your kids will talk about for days, this is your place.

Grabbed a dim sum combo with a side of sticky rice wrapped in lotus leaf as well. Everything was delicious. The owner is very nice, after talking to them I found out they make all their dim sum by hand! Please support this small business, there's no place that offers the type of true dim sum cuisine here in Reno that they do.

Parking is very easy in the shopping center lot. Honey Bakers is a small shop where you order to-go. Highlights The location offers a range of dim sum standards (har gow, siu mai, sticky rice, etc.) that you can order on demand. Around Autumn festival time, there are also mooncakes and other traditional pastries, with lotus, black bean, red bean, taro, egg custard, and other fillings. There is also a long specialty menu of sweet and savory "buns," including steamed and baked char siu bao, coconut pineapple, red bean, and chicken. I don't think I've ever seen so many options in one place, amazing! Turnaround time is pretty fast as well. Lowlights The dim sum prices are "boutique," and by that, I mean much more expensive than dim sum restaurants I've been to. Dim sum doesn't have that many offerings around here, and so you pay for the convenience. The buns are more reasonably priced, but the fillings are on the low side, and some aren't quite as fresh or tasty as I'm used to. Again, demand often impacts these factors, so I can appreciate a small business has to balance things. Overall, a convenient option if you're craving dim sum or Chinese sweets.

The place is spacious, cute, and CLEAN! The huge freezer case is packed with so many different kinds of treats. Having no experience with Mexican sweets, I just went for three different kinds of ice cream -- to go. I LOVE good mango ice cream, and theirs is very mango-y. Delicious. I'm not sure if it was ice cream or sorbet, but either way, it was excellent. The other two kinds will be tested tomorrow, but I'm sure they are just as good. I will be going back, often, because life is too short for mediocre ice cream!
