Avoid this company. In my San Antonio experience, the installer was inexperienced and the charges felt dishonest. I ordered a dishwasher from Costco, and the same person handled both the delivery and installation. After looking under my sink, he told me I needed to replace a "special" shutoff valve for $180, or he would leave the dishwasher in my living room without installing it. [[HIGHLIGHT]]I felt pressured and assumed the valve must be expensive, so l agreed to the charge.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] However, | later realized that he simply cut my existing stubbed pipe shorter and installed the new valve. The entire process took about a minute. Afterward, I found out that the same shut-off valve sells for around $13 at Home Depot. Despite this, I was charged $180 for the part and a very quick installation. I would also like to report that the installer appeared inexperienced. While replacing the shut-off valve, he cut the existing stub-out pipe connected to the old valve, even though it could have been easily removed without cutting. Because he cut the pipe too short, the cover plate for the wall opening no longer fits. He removed the cover and left a large exposed hole in the wall. Additionally, on the other side of the sink cabinet, he drilled a large hole to run the drain hose without my permission, instead of using the existing opening. As I mentioned, there are two main reasons I'm unhappy with the job. First, he did not use the existing hole to route the drain. Instead, he drilled a new hole for the drain hose without my permission. The hole was placed too high, which can cause more dirty water to flow back into the dishwasher. He claimed it was supposed to be done that way, but I disagree. Second, charged me for installing a valve, but after doing so, he left a hole in the wall and said it was "normal." He also removed the cover and did not replace it, I think the cover won't fit any more, by the way he did, and the cover is disappeared too. He went above and beyond what we originally called him for--he not only handled the main issue quickly and professionally, which was hooking up our dishwasher, but they took out the old one, installed a new kitchen faucet and garbage disposal- and all work perfectly. Everything was done efficiently, cleanly, and with great attention to detail. After the original dishwasher installer sent by Costco botched the job - twice! - Costco finally sent a company that knew what they were doing!! Elijah from FasTX Home Services showed up promptly as scheduled. [[HIGHLIGHT]]He asked good questions, then listened, so he could determine what the actual problem was.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] He double checked the areas we were concerned with, fixed the original drain hose problem as well as a secondary issue with the unit being secured to the cabinets. He also spotted a third -cosmetic - issue that had been installed incorrectly. [[HIGHLIGHT]]After all that, he again asked questions to make sure we knew certain operation features of the specific unit, and explained those items to us.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] We would have no problem using FasTX & their tech Elijah again, and would gladly recommend them to our neighbors!! read more

I wish I could give FasTX zero stars. We ordered a Bosch dishwasher from Costco. This was a replacement for an old Bosch dishwasher. The installer was completely incompetent. [[HIGHLIGHT]]He began the installation by complaining that FasTX "never gives him enough time for Bosch installs".[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] He struggled to fit the dishwasher into the space. We asked if there was an issue after he repeatedly shoved and slammed the new dishwasher trying to make it fit. He installed the dishwasher sticking out from the counter by several inches claiming he did not have any more room. [[HIGHLIGHT]]When we asked that he install the unit properly or take it back, he replied that he had no more time. He offered no resolution.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] He damaged our cabinets and left a gigantic mess of garbage, parts, and tools throughout our kitchen. [[HIGHLIGHT]]He then sat in his van in our driveway smoking while we attempted to reach his company for assistance.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] He twice left our house door wide open and let our dogs out during this experience. We are just thankful neither of them were lost or killed. Ultimately, we returned the dishwasher to Costco as we were concerned that it was damaged during the installation process.
