This is an update to my previous review on Fast Signs. After my posting they did in fact refund my money. Michelle, the business owner, was not the person I was dealing with. Perhaps if she would've been involved from the beginning, I would not have had posted this review and I would've had a beautiful acrylic sign in my office a month ago. I did in fact send an email stating all of these things about the installation, how it was going to go on a pony wall and inquiring what kind of brackets I would need. Apparently, that email was ignored or overlooked, which led to the unfortunate cancellation. Michelle, as a business owner, I would highly suggest you reach out to your clients who have issues via email, text, or phone and find out the other side of the story before you accuse someone and make false statements. Perhaps you should practice what you post. I have no ill feelings against fast signs, it was just a situation that didn't work out. I wish your company all the best of luck. read more

I wanted a sign for a protest on the 11th. I had a great poster with a pair of child's converse at the bottom. When I picked it up they had decided to replace the child's shoes with a man's size converse. When I questioned it they ridiculed me and were insulting. never use this place for anything if you want decent work and to be treated respectfully. Jill green. Update: The service recovery from Michelle was amazing. What initially was an upsetting experience ended up getting resolved and made right by ownership. Thank you Fast Signs for your quick response and care for your customers! I had 2 large exterior signs done here for my business. End product was pretty good, but disappointing Customer service. They cracked the stucco of my building when removing the previous sign and the only explanation was that we could get it fixed before they installed (which cost me $500). read more

Negative posts are rare for me. In the end I got acceptable product. What I had a problem with. 1. Fast signs made a spelling error 2. Poor resolution options 3. Total absence of responsibility for their spelling error between 4th and 5th proof. 4. 40% increase in cost from original quote in order to get properly spelled banner. We did miss the misspelling error on final proof. This error was not on previous proofs or artwork originally submitted.. My take always: Never assume competence by printers when evaluating final proof. I will never use Fastsigns. read more

I have been to many many sign places. I have never encountered a business that does signs and is efficient, fast, and professional. I honestly walked in one day because I was tired of all the other sign shops I have been to that we're not reliable. If you're looking for a cheap spot and a hook up this is not the place. But if you're looking for quality, good professional and fast signs, this is the place. It's well priced, but the superstar of this location is definitely Mar! She quickly understood what I wanted, and sent me different proofs. She is so professional and honest ughhhh Im a but mad at myself I didnt walk in here before! Note: The following review only pertains to the Pt. Loma location. I have had excellent experiences at other FastSign locations. This is kind of a late review but I had a terrible experience with this place last summer. The woman I worked with apparently did not understand the difference between length and diameter, and used the two words interchangeably in some of our correspondence. Her incompetence resulted in a $50 mistake on a $1300 order. Instead of offering to make good on this relatively small part of the order, the woman became defensive and uncooperative. I tried to reason with her that it was small part of the order and that I would like to give them business again in the future but this did not seem to make sense to her. I just felt like once they had my money they didn't have time for me and couldn't be bothered with any of my concerns. Like I said above, I have since found other FastSign stores to be a great experience so this review only pertains to the Pt. Loma location on Midway. read more

These guys were great! I was sponsoring a public event and needed a banner for my booth...The only problem was I forgot to order it until the day of the event. I called Fast Signs on Midway just before 11 am, the day of an event, and asked if there was any way they could have a banner made for me by 3pm. Not only did he not laugh at me, he walked me through there order process. I emailed over my art work and 20min later signed off on the proof. Despite repeated attempts in trying to resolve my issues with them concerning a job of theirs, they were uncooperative and ultimately cost me over a thousand dollars. They blatantly did not try to resolve my issues and clearly did not care about repeat business from me.
