It's unfortunate I have to share my negative experience on here, but after reaching out to Management and experiencing their complete lack of care and accountability, I had no other choice, as I don't want this happening with anyone else. If there's one thing I can't stand as a customer is a business that's full of excuses as to why their product can't come out exactly as what they said that will do (it was proofed). Some business (or managers) take no pride in what's delivered, and after speaking to Erin, the manager, in an effort to fix the issue, lack of pride and accountability was evident here. And we are talking about 5" diameter decals. They just can't seem to produce them without an issue. First was the backing paper. I heard at least two different excuses from them then as to why they couldn't cut the backing to the shape of the decals (circular). This happened in two different orders 8 months apart in 2017/2018. Now the backing was good, but then they felt they could change the logo by thickening the border color) for whatever reason (according to Erin, they had to thicken the border 4 times its width to prevent errors during cutting. I've had the same logo done for the past 12 years in different places and this is the first time I've heard this (mind you they have already done before a few times). Regardless, the logo was symmetrically designed for a purpose. She went as far as saying that the border being 3/4 times thicker than it was supposed to, is not a big deal. Perhaps to her and her company who take no pride in what their products look like. And to prove my point that the culture that has been established here is one of laziness, when picking up the decals and telling the rep that the borders were way to think, she (without checking the file first) immediately rebated, "that's how it is on the file you sent us, sir." Knowing that it was absolutely not, I asked her to show me the file. The inevitable "oh, you are right, it is much thinner" comment took place. "Yeah, I know", I said. Like, let's contest the quality of the product we created for the customer without even being sure I know what I'm talking about. Smh. "So what are you going to do for me", I asked. She checked with her manager who wanted to offer me 20% off a future order. When asking about the 20% off this order instead, her reason as to why she couldn't do that is that the balance had already been paid and the transaction batched. That there was a way to refund me but it would take too much work. Heck, I don't want 100% off the next order, if they offered me. The trust on their ability to print out simple quality decals are gone. So even though they didn't deliver what I was expecting, she thought that I wasn't deserving of the "work" to get a 20% back of my $800 order. And I was doing them a favor by not returning the entire order to be redone or get a full refund. Save yourself time and distress and go somewhere where they know what they are doing, respect their customers and offer consistent quality work. read more

I found Fast signs through Yelp when I needed some advertising for my company. They did 20 magnets and 8 stand up signs. Than I needed a custom wrap on my company's car and Tom (the owner) took very good care of me. The wrap came out very nice. It took about a week and Tom called me with progress report daily. This was not an easy job but Fast signs had everything under control from beginning to the end. The wrap cost $1500. Lots of people are giving us compliments and the advertising works well :-) read more

Very nice staff! They have wrapped two of my babies DOC Bands. He's not supposed to be out of it for too long and the staff scheduled a drop off and had the helmet done in about an hour. If your child requires a DOC Band take it here to have it wrapped! I have recommended PH Fastsigns to Cranial Technologies in Oakland and SF to spread the word to Bay Area parents to take their DOC Bands here. As a business owner, it's difficult to understand how this business actually stays in business. It I treat my prospective clients like I have been treated by this business owner, I would not have many clients. I sent a email on 9/21/2013 with some specifications & requirements for a light box sign to go on the exterior of my office building. Included was some logo files and photos plus some Concord planning department restrictions. After a week of no response, I called to find out what was going on. Spoke to a person name Robert who became immediately defensive. He put me on hold and then the owner Tom came on the line. He explained that Robert had some personal problems and that he would be helping me. We discussed the project and he told me that I would receive a proposal the following day. After not receiving anything for several days, I called back and left a message for Tom. I called a week later and complained that my message was not returned - still no response. Today over 30 days after I asked for a quote, no response, not one phone call has been returned. I can understand a conscious decision not to do business with someone. But one would expect this decision to be relayed directly as a common courtesy. But I do not understand this unprofessional conduct of making a commitment then activity avoiding any contact. Needless to say, it will be a cold day in hell before I do business with this company in the future. read more

If you need great products and value excellent customer service, this is the place to go! I have been using this facility for almost 10 years for my sign and banner needs. I probably don't need to say more than it is so worth my driving 50 miles from San Jose to Pleasant Hill to work with this team. They have gone out of their way to try to meet my sometimes tight deadlines, and their products are reasonably priced and of very high quality. From Tom the owner to Robert the CS manager to Michele the design manager, everyone is very attentive and have all spent tons of time translating my needs/ideas into effective layouts and messages. As long as I'm responsible for my company's sign ordering, this is the only place that will get my business. Thanks so much guys, for making me and my properties look so good! read more

They told me that i would get my stuff after it gets approved 2 days they said Waited whole week to get them done . I call them and ask them if they are done yet VS them calling me and saying it is done Then they got me a sticker wrong even i told them i need one looks like cardboard material (plastic) not a sticker that is strike number two when i was there i didn't want to argue since for them it doesn't matter. I completely agree with the previous review 9/1/2016. This used to be our "go-to" for signs, banners, etc. and we never had an issue before. What happened? Is there a new owner? I recently placed a request online for our logo on a sign in two new offices to match a previous one done by this location. I mistakenly thought the previous sign they made for us was wood and their response (from Jon Robinson) was simply "we do not work with wood so maybe another location did this for you." No offer to make from another material or anything else. I dug up the old work order for the previous sign done by their location in 2008 and saw the material specified was Dynofoam, not wood. I then emailed (Jon) a copy of the original order from their store and apologized for misidentifying the material and asked if they could then make the signs from the Dynofaom. No response. I then decided to start over and go online to re-submit my order specifying the correct material this time. Again, no response. I was thinking maybe I should go down there in person and explain what I want, but why should I have to chase them down? I'm guessing they just don't want our business so I will be taking it elsewhere. Bottom line: terrible customer service / zero communication skills read more

This location used to be our go-to when needing signs made. However, over the last few months the customer service has gone down hill - emails are not responded to in a timely fashion, if at all, and no efforts are made to correct problems. If you use this company, you may want to try another branch - the drive may be worth it to get your project done on time. read more

After a miserable trade show experience with a tedious, and not to mention hideous, trade show booth I was determined to have a new booth designed for my employer. I was referred to Fast Signs by my husband who is a custom framer and used them in the past. I called them right away and spoke to Tom who listened to the issues I was having with the booth and what I was looking for. He got it right away, explained what he could offer with an estimated price. I supplied the graphic arts through another freelancer I hired and Tom gave me two options that would best suit the needs of the company. Once I gave him the go ahead and the artwork he got to it right away, asked me to approve the color and in two weeks I had the perfect booth. And...Tom showed me how to install the booth and how to do tear down - all in an hour and a half! After the six hour experience I had with the last one this one is a miracle. The price was very reasonable and I would absolutely use Fast Signs again for any trade show or signage needs. read more

Robert and his crew at Fast Signs are phenomenal, with a huge emphasis on wonderful customer service! Unfortunately I had to cancel my first order of my signs with Robert but told him I would call him back in a few weeks with a new order. He was totally understanding and refunded me instantly. I was so happy when I was able to call him back with the new order for my signs and they did a fantastic job on them. The wait time was quick and the install was top notch. I am extremely picky, a real perfectionist and wanted my signs to be absolutely spotless. Matt, the installer was so nice and complied with my requests to wipe off all marks and smudges off the signs after he put them up. The low star rating is strictly for what happened when I picked up my signs. The customer in front of me paid $113.000 out the door for two 24 x 24 signs. My price out the door for the same size three signs was $330.00. When I asked Jon why the difference he informed me I don't know the owner as well, as the guy in front of me. So the way I figure it that other fellow needs to leave a 5 star to compensate for my 2 star so he can keep his 3.5 star average. Was this a fast sign shop it took 5 days to complete the job Was it priced well evidently not the fellow in front of me paid half of what I did and when I call the sign shop on Third St in Walnut Creek he was $89. So now you know the real sign prices if you know the owner and the sign price if you don't from now on I'm heading to Walnut Creek. Update Now that I have bought signs of better quality for just $39 each I really fill like this was a complete ripoff read more

I contacted Fast Signs over 30 days ago for signage for a new office location. I received a quote over the phone so I emailed them my graphics. I left several messages for them to clarify the layout and never received a call back or an email acknowledging that they had even received them. I had my sign made and installed with a competitor in less than a week and they gave me all the specs I needed. Fast Signs obviously didn't want my business and customer service there is non-existent. read more

I have been ordering our store signs from Fastsigns for the past 2 1/2 years and they always take care of me! This time I needed a sign in a short time frame and was promised to have the sign delivered. Unfortunately, there was an emergency and they weren't able to deliver. I still needed my sign, so I ordered a U-Haul to go and pick up the sign as it was too big to fit in my car. When I called and spoke with Monique to let her know I couldn't get the U-Haul until the next day....she offered to bring in her personal truck to make sure they could still deliver my sign and I wouldn't have to pay extra for the U-Haul. I have worked with Monique many of times in the past but yesterday, Monique and Erin did an amazing job making sure we got our sign in time. I appreciate them and their amazing customer service.
