The store was clean. I like shopping at Krogers but they often have outdated or soon to expire…read moreitems on their shelves. Especially pantry items. There was even a sunscreen that expired 4/2024 on the shelf almost a year later. If I found it at home, I would probably still use it but I don't want to buy it expired. Also, several of the sale signs were wrong. I love Kroger's weekly deals. I saw the salmon sale price sign and quickly tossed it in my cart. But then remembered seeing a coupon for the sale price last week. I learned the hard way that you should always verify the sale price dates on the bottom left of the sale price sign. Of course the deal was over. Im wondering how many thought they were getting the salmon for the sale price and was unknowingly charged the regular price. Not just at Kroger, but any store check those expiration dates and sale price dates!

Kroger grocery store that services the city of Shepherdsville Kentucky…read more Kroger is a regional grocery store that services and has tons of locations in the Lousiville Kentucky area and nearby Al cities such as Shepherdsville . Pretty standard super grocery store in the same vein as a Winn Dixie or the grocery side of a wal mart. They do require a Kroger plus card to get discounted prices. So that's kinda annoying. Just charge everyone the same price and be on with it. Especially since if you don't have one a worker or nearby customer will just let you use there. Anyways Thai particular location is a nicer one. Very spacious and very large. They do a. Good job on the upkeep of the store. They have decent sales items as most Kroger do (as long as you have the Kroger plus card). Overall not a bad location. Service here is solid. Lines can get long as there aren't too many grocery options in Shepherdsville but they do a good job on keeping the lines moving on my few trips here when in the area.

If you are having groceries delivered, don't have them delivered from Walmart. The groceries you…read moreordered are picked fine, usually. The people loading them in the delivery vehicle need a lot of training. The people who answer the phone in that department need a lot of training on how to be civil to the people that are being kind and patient on the phone with them who didn't (once again),receive a full order. The customer has to pay to have the items left behind delivered or they have to arrange to pick them up. This should fall on Walmart since they are the ones making the mistake. I thought I would give them one more chance since their prices are somewhat better than other places, but I am done. I finally learned that it is truly all about the money and not the person.

I would've given this store a one but the greeter John was so sweet and welcoming after the most…read morehorrific experience I've ever had... So much so that my rage and anger immediately diminished. So here's why I'm leaving this review.... Today, it finally happened. At 42 years old, for the first time, I experienced something I've heard so many others speak about but had not personally encountered so directly--prejudice in plain sight. While checking out at Walmart using the self-checkout lane (around 10 PM, Thursday July 31), I--casually dressed, a doctoral candidate, married mother of three, U.S. Army veteran, career woman, and soon-to-be retiree after a lifetime of hard work--was approached by the attendant. Not to greet me like she had greeted all the other customers. Not to offer assistance. But to ask if I had scanned the box of diapers in my cart as a toy. No explanation. No polite inquiry. Just a direct, unfounded accusation. To be clear: * The writing on the diaper box was large and visible from her station. * She had spoken to every other customer around me--offering smiles, assistance, and casual conversation. * She had never acknowledged me once during my transaction... until it came time to question my integrity. This wasn't a mistake. It was about a bias--one so deeply ingrained that I was singled out despite every indication of honesty and decency. This is exactly how injustice persists. Quietly. Casually. But unmistakably. I was so pissed and offended that actually thought about making a scene there. I left it go and proceeded to leave. At that point I was greeted by really sweet greeter by the name of John. He was so polite that I decided to get in my truck and just come home to tell my husband about it. It's nearly 2AM and I can't seem to fall asleep because the incident is heavily weighing on my mind and I'm trying to figure out if I should've handled it on the spot to prevent anyone else like from experiencing the same thing.
