I initially chose this place because the woman on the phone was so nice. I went in today, bringing with me one of the only things I have in my possession that once belonged to my beloved father, who passed away in 2013. I brought in a hand-drawn document that my dad received when he crossed the equator in 1954 as a young merchant marine. It had been in its original hand made frame for a very long time. The glass had shattered long ago during one of my moves, and the frame was flimsy, barely holding together. The owner, Rosemarie, gave me some good options, and I chose to go with acrylic since it was less likely to stick to the document and ruin it. Plus, it protects it from the sun, which is very important when it comes to historic, one-of-a-kind piece like this. I told them I wanted to save the original frame if possible, and they carefully replaced the old glass, secured the frame back together, and sealed the back with paper. When she handed it back to me, it looked better than it ever had. The folks who run this store are patient and kind, don't try to up-sell you, and truly care about their customers. While I was waiting in the store, I witnessed several happy customers picking up beautifully framed pieces of all sizes. I have quite a few old family photos that I have always wanted to have professionally framed, and I will definitely be going back to this place! VERY expensive. Great quality work, nice people, but $125 (with a $50 coupon!) to frame a 12 x 24 poster was by far the highest quote I was given. I asked for the least expensive choice and this was the option. You're not walking out if there without spending $100. Eventually had it done beautifully for $40... and it's 15 minutes away! The quality may be great, but who needs a $125 frame for a $75 poster? read more

I got my Red Sox jersey signed and wanted to display it properly and do it justice. I did a bunch of research and called around to have it properly framed. Once I called Randy at FastFrame, I knew I had the right person to help me. He was very knowledgeable and helpful in describing options on the phone at first. Once I came in with my jersey, he was able to show me multiple options. He even brought it up on a TV screen to show the style of bordering and positioning we could use. We brain stormed about adding photo and some World Series patches I was interested in displaying. In the end, I got an even better framed jersey than I had originally envisioned. I knew it was going to be a pricey project but like a tattoo artist, you are paying for the skill and art. I probably could have tried to do it myself for cheaper, or buy a frame online. We had a large map (40x60) that needed framing. After researching several options, we decided to check out FASTFRAME based on the amazing Yelp reviews. Needless to say, Rosemarie and Randy did not disappoint. They make you feel like you are the most important customer that walked through their doors. After going over the work, we explained that my brother's truck is out of commission at the moment so we were not sure when we can bring our piece in. Without hesitation Rosemarie offered to help. Later that day we got a call from Randy and he came to our house. And this was all without any payment or official agreement to do the work -- amazing right? We returned to the store to finalize the details AND they again offered to deliver the finished piece if the truck was not ready (wow). We left with no doubts that we were in excellent hands. We returned a couple weeks later to see the finished framed map and it exceeded our expectations. We were eager to get it home, but my brother's truck was still in the shop. Once again, Randy and Rosemarie went out of their way to ensure delivery to our home. Did I mention that we were not charged for pick-up and delivery? Seriously, who does that anymore?! Then a few days later we received a lovely handwritten thank you card. I brought two prints in for framing. Rosemarie talked me through the best way to frame my prints and showed me my prints. She went through what seemed like an endless supply of mattes for the frame to make sure that she got just the right color to go with the print. They have a huge selection of frames and it is somewhat overwhelming, but Rosemarie already had in mind a few options that she thought would go well with the prints and showed me why she would get a certain color frame than another. They gave me an estimate of 2 weeks to get the frames ready and I was very pleased that they were right on time with their estimate. Randy helped me with the checkout of the frames and showed me each print before I paid - they were even better than I imagined they would be.
