I have never been in to Colonel Sams without at least 5 people in front of me, and it isn't because they are slow and I never eat fast food on public holidays! Colonel Sams is definately the balls! they always have a minimum of 6 people working behind the counter on the grills and prep areas and the food is usually up lickedy split! I have also had a burger from them (like Paul M), but I went for the beef variety. It did fall apart for me, but that was no fault of the burger nor those who made it. I was just inhaling that sucker....it never stood a chance! I also really like the hotdogs (I never order Chicken from a Chicken shop, I'm weird like that!).

Perfect cafe for a post-hike brunch…read more Loved the atmosphere and interior design. Had a very unique feel you don't get in most Adelaide cafes. The breakfast menu was very reasonably priced. Best Eggs Benedict I have had in a long time and paid under $15 for them. A friend of mine ordered a stack of pancakes which was beautifully presented and were absolutely delicious.

There is option to sit outside or inside and I was surprised how quiet it was inside considering the amount of patrons - no echoes and chatter noise like many cafes which was great. The staff were really friendly and welcoming and service was quick and efficient. The food was really nice and cooked well and arrived in a timely manner. To be honest wasn't overjoyed by their coffee but it was ok. I guess the food made up for it .. just Would return here and eat again but better options close by for just coffee.

The menu is based mainly on Malaysian street food styles... Delicious Roti with your choices of curries, many styles of Nasi Lemak, Rendang, plus Noodle and Rice dishes galore. Their drink selection is very Malay.. Coffee and Tea (either separate or together). The Staff were very pleasant and the décor, nothing special but certainly comfortable and appropriate.

A saving grace for Malaysians and Singaporeans away from home!…read more In the 17 years I've lived in Adelaide, the only way I could have REAL satay was to make it myself. Thankfully, there is now Papparich. Whilst many Malaysians and Singaporeans from states like NSW and Vic say that it's "not the best", I say, beggars can't be choosers and when you really have a hankering for proper roti and satay, this is it. 1) The menu is all authentic. It's not been diluted or modified to cater to the western palate like many Asian restaurants. 2) I can sit in there, close my eyes and the accents I hear, I am brought back to any eatery in Malaysia or Singapore, except that it's not hot and humid. 3) I haven't given it 5-stars because ... I wish there was the Nonya style of laksa and the Singapore-style of Char Kuay Teow. Every other dish, Singapore has a version of, and I'm quite happy with what is there. 4) The prices whilst not the prices one would get in Malaysia and Singapore, won't break your pocket either. For me, the must-try is the Satay. If you've never had Satay in Malaysia and Singapore, you have to try it here. You will never order "chicken satay" as an entree elsewhere again. So far, I have tried the Nasi Lemak. Though I would like for the rice to be more lemak, it's probably better for the waistline that it's not as fragrant with coconut as it should be. The Nasi Lemak comes with different types of meat but the condiments are all the same. I wish there was one with fried fish ... perhaps like a Tommy Ruff which is closest to the herring or mackerel that is included in most packed Nasi Lemaks you'd find on the street or in hawker centres. I usually order the Nasi Lemak with an extra serve of the Sambal Ikan Bilis as I prefer that. The steamed chicken with various styles of noodles is a great meal. I had the Dry Hor Fun (flat rice noodles served with a gravy and not in a soup). It comes with a good serve of blanched bean sprouts and the steamed Hainanese-style Chicken is clean and tender. Really, I think the chicken is poached. There is a dish on the menu that is Deep Fried Chicken Skin ... I want to try it ... but I'm thinking I might go into cholesterol-arrest! They do not take reservations and the minimum for EFTPOS is $20.

Perched upon a small hill on North East Road at the intersection of Grand Junction, the location is perfect and you always notice the restaurant from either side of the road as you drive past. Inside is furnished very nice, with lots of large tables for groups, benches and dark wooden tones. The food is a variety of different Asian flavours with stir fry's, curries, entrees, some Indian influences and noodle bowl dishes. They also have a lunch menu which is really cheap and tastes amazing! I honestly don't go here that often, even though it is close to home. But I don't really eat Asian in restaurant, I usually get it takeaway. But now that I am writing this it's getting me in the mood for curry puffs and Thai basil chicken..

After deciding to eat in for dinner one time, I wasn't disappointed in the food served in the restaurant either. At lunch time they offer noodle specials which are good value and quite decent serves (you sit on a long communal table). The only slight drawbacks I have is that my friend LOVED a noodle dish, and we went there for dinner, and couldn't get served that same noodle dish in the restaurant. It's just not allowed apparently, which I find a bit silly. She was willing to pay more as well! Also, mixed reports around the service which at times can be overwhelming, and other times underwhelming. Not withstanding these points, the food is really delicious and fresh. My pick for tasty lunches, delicious dinners and takeaway that's a cut above the rest in this area.

I realise now that for the past four or so years, I've been misnaming this restaurant - we've…read morealways known it as Princes Room. Regardless of the name, the food is just downright good here - the menu features all the favourites, chicken & cashew, beef & black bean sauce, honey king prawns, etc, but also some deeper dishes, kung po chicken (lashings of whole flamed chilli's) and kway teo (my favourite flat rice noodles with a thick black sauce) Decor is also classical chinese restaurant - huge fish tanks featuring gigantic goldfish swimming back and forth, red and gold trim abounds, and you can have a nice big table with a lazy susan to help share your dishes around. It's worth noting that even when the house is quite empty, there is a steady trade in takeaway - it's pretty clear Prince Room is one of the more popular chinese offerings in Campbelltown. Parking is a little tight on a busy night - there's off street parking out back, turn left just past the building, but it does get full and can be a pain to turn a big car around in - luckily the side streets aren't permit only like so many in the city, so you'll be able to park and take a stroll back. I love the food here - it's simple cuisine, but they do what they do so, so well. Crispy duck is full of flavour, and like it should be, crispy. Sizzling platters turn up sizzling like they should. Singapore noodles are rich and rewarding and the curry flavour doesn't overpower the dishes you eat them with. The batter on the honey king prawns is light and crisp and the honey is sweet and glossy again without being too much. Prince Room offers you a sample of exactly how chinese should be done - and the pricing reflects excellent value for food this good.

Prince Room is spacious and can seat a decent number of guests. The design and the fittings of this place may seem a tab bit dated, but they've done well with being decorative with pictures on the walls and ceiling hangings. I go here every so often. Once a month at least for dinner with a group. One of my favourite dishes is the satay chicken dish. The chicken always tastes fresh and not chewy and over-cooked, and the sauce is amazing. On the menu its described as spicy, but it's actually more so mild. I would also never go by the Lemon Chicken or Honey Chicken dish. They're served with crispy chicken breast drizzled with the perfectly done sauce. When banqueting with a group although, as well as ordering rice, ordering a side or 2 of steamed vegetables may be ideal as a lot of the dishes don't seem to come with vegetables. Apart from that never had a dismay dining at this charming Asian restaurant.

I can't say that I've ever seen this place empty! Meals here are delicious and prepared quite fast. The waiters are always happy to help and have suggestions. There are also chilli indicators on the menu, which helps decipher how hot/spicy meals are. Reasonable selection of wine. Small beer selection though. Being in the Salisbury cinema complex I was at first apprehensive at what it could be like. I was worried it would just be a get em in, get em out kind of place. Fortunately it's not, you can sit back and eat and let your waistband on your jeans get tight without feeling threatened to leave.
