I'm so glad that I finally remembered to give the small business a try - their menu is extensive, the pizza sizes are better value than chain pizza places and over ordering from there a few times, the product is always of a high standard and tastes absolutely amazing. Consequently here we are! I came, I tried it, I came back home... and here I am... The staff are very friendly, and very welcoming when you come in. After ordering, for the first time I was asked if I wanted to add any extra toppings. Seriously, a lot of places offer this service, but rarely are you ever asked about it. You may think it's a small thing, but it stuck in my mind. The wait time felt a little long, but I did go at a busy time. When the pizza arrived it was amazing. The drive home was a hard one, and biting into the pizza, the first thing I noticed was the dough. What did they do to the dough? It's magnificent! Maybe they did nothing, maybe it was supplied to them that way. Either way, it was really good. The toppings were plentiful and the cheese was nice. The sauces used had a bit of bite to them, just the way I like it. It was recommended to me, and I recommend it to you too.

Well I don't think this is standard practice, but my partner got some lovely flowers from the owner which made her day... I admit, I don't buy them for her as often as I probably should... So she'd say anyway. The pizza was loaded with toppings and offered a nice flavourful bite. The cheese was nice and thick, which while it tasted good probably wasn't the best thing for me. Still, we don't eat pizza as a diet food, so who cares. An awesome little place locked away behind Ingle Farm Shopping Centre.

5/5 stars 18/12/2011…read more There must be something special about his pizza - because boy, this chef sure likes to have fun! He asked me what my major in University was (which was Psychology), and he jokingly replied, "So you've come to analyse me!" He made me smile with that one. And I noticed he jokes around with every customer and co-worker! But seriously, do they know how to make pizzas properly! (Awww...man this dough and meat is fresh and soft, not like the try-hard local stores who end up making it hard to eat!) If you're looking for a delicious and authentic Italian-made pizza with fresh dough and toppings that should be expected in Italian pizza, than you can take Salvatore's Slice of Italy's name, which is a genuine original Italian name, and turn it into "The Freshest and Softest Pizza in Adelaide" - especially after you wash a slice or two down with a couple of cans of soft drinks! The chef was so friendly, when I asked what the gorgeous photos on his wall came from, he told me stories of his trips overseas back home to the beautiful pristine islands of Italy, and all his cousins. He said his uncles from Italy were the ones who taught him how to make pizzas for life. I love immigrants who never forget where they came from, or apply what they learnt in their younger years to run a successful business or job for the rest of their life. Look for the colourful Italian flag colours of green, white and red at the front to guide your way. Anyway - just find this place. You will not be disappointed...There's even some other fascinating shops right next door!

I guess it had a lot to do with going to a certain fast food pizza chain when I was young, and also my parent's not being a big fan of take-away pizza (why take away when you can cook one yourself). However, I decided that I really should actually check this place out, even if only to grab a pizza, and yes, there is a pretty good reason why this place has been around for as long as it has - the pizzas are great. I guess I've found a new favourite pizza place.

This is one of those places that's going to surprise you…read more You see little collections of shops all the time, normally with a pizza bar, not always. It is pretty common though, and the food is pretty ordinary. Not so with this place. I walked in with low expectations, I'll happily admit that. I've covered a fair few pizza places for Yelp and it gets to the stage where if you've written about one you've written about them all. The first thing to notice is the presentation. I get the impression this place hasn't been around all that long or it's just undergone an upgrade. It looks very new and it has a web site. Their prices do reflect this and they're maybe a dollar or two more than other places. You get what you pay for here though. They do offer specials so check out the website first as you may get a bargain. The variety of pizzas is pretty good and the way they make them is rather satisfying as well. Toppings are plentiful and the sauce is strong but not overpowering. Overpowering base sauce can ruin a pizza and they don't go overboard here. As I said, I was surprised with this place. It's locked away from the main roads but it's well worth going out of your way for.

I've been a few times, and while sometimes the pizza is passable, other times you end up with a greasy base, wet greasy top and dry toppings (yes I can't figure that out either). Why does it vary so much? Well I assume it has to do with whoever is working at the time which is a shame. With that being said the pizza on a good day is only ever passable. On a more positive note the prices are pretty decent, so if you want to take a punt and see what happens on any one given night then you won't lose out on much if it's not up to par.
