Haven't been for a while. We used to go often when it first opened. Tamarind Duck was pretty amazing (missing from menu now) then but there's a but... We went today, we got steamed Dimsims to share.Miss Bells ordered Singapore hokkien mee. Mr. Sneakers 18 ordered Teriyaki Chicken. I ordered the Black pepper Spareribs. Dimsims full of pastry, with a layer of meat...am I wrong but shouldn't that be the other way around? Our taste buds dissatisfied with ratio. Hokkien seems to have less meat and veggies were slightly undercooked. Still ok though. Teriyaki Chicken sauce was a few degrees on the oily side and appears to have less meat. Spareribs needed chargrilling, denying us the caramelized and smoky flavour. Sauce was a bit too runny. Salad was quite good..Pepper was spot on but Mr.Sneakers18 thought it was too much. Bring back the Tamarind Duck! Quality seems to have dropped but still plenty of dinners even for a Tuesday. Rating? = 6.5/10. Till next review, Hungry Capampangan.

Pretentious and unoriginal. Exactly what you'd expect from some hole-in-a-wall establishment

Pretty good yummy asian food that's a bit different than your standard asian restaurant. Would recommend.

We drive past here all the time, but never noticed it open. So we thought we would check it out!…read more Service: We walked in and were offered water upon seating (great for a 39°day!). We were offered drinks immediately. Menus were brought put soon after. Throughout eating, the lady asked us if everything was ok. We visited at 12 noon - bit Google said it opened at 11am but they did seem to be just opening up not really ready for customers. Very polite service though. Drinks menu: Soft drink, alcohol, water, traditional-ish tea and coffee is available. I asked for the green tea (cold) but they didn't have this on the day we visited. I ordered a raspberry and lemonade instead and it came out to the table in a masonry jar - very chic. Food menu: Food menu was average to good. The mixed entree comes with 1 of each in the entree menu and for $10, this is was a good starter to get an idea of the entree menu. Noodles and rice dishes seem very good. Desserts: We didn't have any but there was a menu for them, but it had N/A on some of them. Maybe they've just opened.. Food quality: The entree starter had a 'golden bag', satay, fishcake, vegetarian spring roll and samosa. Satay was the only item which seemed inhouse made. I also got the drunken noodles and hubby got the pad thai. Both were enjoyable - except I'm not sure if all the vegetables were cut in-house as I had some strange crinkle cut carrots. Overall: The menu has loads of mains but only 7 or so entrees. If they cut a few of the mains out, they could concerntrate on the entrees and making them better/in-house. I have an allergy to beans and when mentioned, they took note if it and ensured no beans or bean sprouts were in the dish - props for that!! I would come back to try other mains and perhaps have the spring rolls or satay for entree instead.
