Helen is a true delight made me feel like at home! They do not have vegan options on the menu but they literally customized my food. Best Chinese restaurant around. Great portions. Has a great family vibe. Helen puts her own twist on your typical Chinese food. I love her jalapeno chick, spicy pork and Asian hot wings. This place always has good food and great service. The combination fried rice combo is good, but in the last order, the rice was not fully cooked. Too crunchy. Love the egg flower soap. My husband & I were looking for a quick spot to eat. We saw Fast wok had 4 stars on yelp so we had to check it out. And they lived up to those stars. Boon sensed it was our first time & said we were going to get the Fastwok experience. He gave us a sample of their orange chicken, popcorn chicken, teriyaki chicken with homemade pickled veggies, sour soup, & Asian chile verde. Boon also gave us a thai tea & it was just what we needed to cool off. Everything was excellent but that sour soup took me back to a special childhood memory of the first time my mother made me a similar dish. Boon made our day & is the definition of excellent customer service. We are excited to come back as regulars to see what the Friday surprise specials will be. * must try shrimp or any fried rice off of the menu *' I got there around 4PM and there wasn't much food out, which I like. This means they don't try to waste food to sacrifice the look over quality. This means food is fresh once it gets finished. I think the food is extremely tasty especially when it's off of the menu OR if you asked for a new batch of food/entrees. The orange chicken was crunchy and tangy. It's not panda express but tasty when I got the fresh batch. The bbq pork was moist and soft but has a char outer bark to it - one of the best ones I've tasted in the area. The green beans is bomb too! He added some dark oyster sauce to it that makes it very flavorful and strong umami. The chowmein was not dry and had a slight sauce to it which made it moist and flavorful. The default fried rice was good and not mixed with frozen veggies - Best and simplest. The Shrimp fried rice - fresh order and whole order (whole plate) -- IS THE BEST!!! I will keep coming back for this 100%!!!! He made the fried rice not so oily and fully utilized the wok and had a nice smokey char to it. Not to mention tasty and the shrimp was crunchy. I was really blown away to get what I ordered first try. It's a shame not a lot of people in area not know about this buy the asian cook running this place definitely know how to cook Chinese dishes on the wok. I would definitely give this place a shot and ignore the irrelevant bad reviews. Ps, I'm just a dude that likes discovering Chinese fast food hole in the wall.
