We ordered the family b for one with szcheuan(?) chicken order of pot stickers and steamed rice. The szcheuan chicken was freshly made and had lots of veggies. Supposed to be hot but to me it's more of a medium spicy. The potstickers seemed homemade and tasted good with the accompanying spicy sauce. The egg drop soup was very nice. The fried shrimp was crisp and fresh. The egg roll was crisp and not oily. Overall a great dinner with very attentive service.

This restaurant is unassuming because it is in a shopping center by other restaurants and stores, but I definitely recommend trying it. My family and I got their family dinner option ($20-$22 per person depending on which dishes you choose). It came with so much food that was delicious! Their hot and sour soup is one of the best I've tried, the chow mein was chewy and flavorful, and the meat (chicken and pork) we ordered was cooked perfectly. The inside is clean and nicely decorated, and the service was great. I would absolutely come again to try more dishes!

Ate at Fortune Garden tonight... Again!…read more I say again because we have been eating there for about 20 years... Before and after their fire - we are hooked! Wife wanted Sizzling Rice Soup, which was perfect. She also had the fried prawns. We shared the Garlic Green Beans VERY FRESH AND TASTY - DON'T MISS THIS! I had the Orange Fish [Halibut perfectly battered] w/Orange sauce on the side & just the right tang - my favorite. Great good and attentive service as always. We love to eat there in person - always better than take out with 10 minute drive home & having to smell the food on the way back - but we still do that occasionally

The service is simple but good, it's always the same lady working and she is just really nice- doesn't bother you too much but you don't have to track her down if you need anything, she's good at keeping her eye on the room. My absolute favorite dish is their mongolian beef, it's amazing. Heavy on the onions which i like and always in incredibly tender. I got it as an entree in the photo below, but if you order it on the dinner special you still get a hefty portion, with a huge mound of rice (try the veggie fried rice), this AWESOME cream cheese rangoon, and a choice of hot & sour soup or egg drop soup. I highly recommend their egg drop soup, it is hands down the best egg drop soup i have ever had. it's the perfect viscosity with green onions and little tofu pieces, and it has a nice sesame nutty flavor to it. Please come try this place! It's as good as the reviews say :)

We went in and were promptly seated, and I agree it's a well decorated and clean environment with helpful staff. The dining area features beautiful wood work and Asian pottery in display cubbies along the walls. The Chinese lanterns were also beautiful. The food was delicious and served family style. The servings are large. We ordered the pork fried rice, specialty menu walnut prawns and the Wor wonton soup. The prawns were massive, true prawns! the food was great, I love the Wor wonton and the rice is always a hit. We ate to satisfaction and then had plenty to bring home to my boys. Of note, the food is excellent at the El Dorado Hills location, and my son liked it so much he ordered the same items at the Folsom location and was disappointed. The prawns were regular sized shrimp sliced in half, with only 5 half sliced shrimp in his order, over a soggy salad. The dish looked completely different. the shrimp were not breaded, and served in a thin sauce. My recommendation since learning this and seeing his to go order is to stick with the EDH location.
