Monster Performance Center FAILED!!! If I could give no…read morestars I would!! As a business owner if something goes wrong servicing a customer, you should do everything you can to make it right. Monster Performace Center has the right to turn down any business if they are not capable of servicing a vehicle correctly. In September, my husband purchased a 2004 Ford Mustang Roush that needed to be tuned. He called around to several different performance shops in the area to select a shop that would be able to service out car best. He spoke with the manager Kevin of Monster Performance Center. He explained to Kevin in detail everything about the car including all the performance parts on the car. Kevin then assured him that tuning our car would be no problem and it should only take a couple of hours. Kevin the owner of Monster Performance Center requested that my husband bring a written list of any after market parts that are currently on the vehicle when he drops off the vehicle. On September 13th, we rented a U-Haul trailor to drop off our Mustang at Monster Performance Center. When my husband arrived he spoke with Kevin and explained that he left a detailed hand written list of all the aftermarkets inside the glovebox of the car. My husband also made sure to note and also took a picture of how many miles (48,860) were on our Mustang when he dropped our car off. Kevin assured him that our mustang should only take a few hours to tune. The following day my husband called Monster Performance Center to see if our Mustang was ready to be picked up. He spoke with Kevin and he said, "no we haven't got to it yet." At this point he was not upset as he just figured maybe they had a busy day in the shop and assumed he would definitely have our Mustang back before the weekend. On September 15th he called them to see if our car was ready and once again he spoke with Kevin who now is telling my husband they still aren't finished with tuning our Mustang. He asked Kevin if they would be able to get it done over the weekend and his response was, "no we don't work on any cars on the weekend, we go to the races." At this point my husband was furious because he was told our Mustang would only take a few hours to tune and now Monster Performance Center has had our vehicle in their possession for 3 days without any sense of urgency. His calls to Monster Performance Center continued into the following week daily. Every time he spoke with Kevin he gave him several excuses of why the vehicle was not done yet. On September 20th, we received a call from a mechanic at Monster Performance Center informing him that they were able to tune our vehicle but within seconds the engine blew on our Mustang. The mechanic that worked on our Mustang went into an explanation of how they tried a bunch of different tunes and when they finally got it tuned the motor blew. The following day my husband arrived at Monster Performance Center and spoke with Kevin and he told him what his options would be to have a new motor put into the vehicle. At this point my husband just wanted to get our mustang home. My husband paid to have our Mustang towed back to our house on September 21, 2017. When he got our vehicle home he took pictures of all the damage and noted that my gas mileage on our Mustang was now at 49070. That's an extra 210 miles on our mustang that wasn't there when we brought the vehicle to you. Monster Performance Center kept our vehicle for over a week. We brought our vehicle to you with a working engine. We picked up our vechile with a blown engine. How is that fair?? We will never recommend your shop to anyone. Poor business and poor customer service!!!

I would not give them any star if that was an option. This place totally destroyed a friend of…read moremines car. Read the following for more info: A couple months ago, I brought my brand new car to Dan at Chi-South Customs 25885 S Ridgeland Ave #4, Monee, IL 60449 to paint an Italian stripe on the front, fix one scratch on front drivers fender, and color match the silver trim around side windows and a couple other spots on car. Three weeks later I picked up my car and paid in full. The next day I called Dan since I saw several issues with the vehicle. We went over every part of what he did wrong on my car. He gave me $2000. back. Could still see scratch on fender, the stripe is wavy, bled into the black, a scratch out of the white by emblem that he didn't even take off to paint. Painted all silver trim on car with out taking it off and didn't prep correctly. Passenger side $2000 in damage, head light has a 3 in. scratch. Front grill that wasn't painted has a 2in. scratch and over spray on it. All rubber around windows has paint on it. Red, white, and green over spray on sunroof. Over spray on other parts of car and windows. Damaged the front clip and hood with out fixing lines and wet sanded and buffed only parts of it. Buffing compound in a lot of spots he didn't clean. Now I have over $10,000 in damage I have to put out now to get it fixed. Dan said his insurance won't take care of it and he has no money. I told him to at least make payments and no response. Sorry to say he's not a man of his word.
