After years of enduring mechanics…read morewho were incompetent and/or untrustworthy, it was absolutely a blessing when a friend of the family recommended this repair shop. So I've been coming here for years. (I have a Buick, so I am frequently in need of service!) The mechanics at Torkom's Service Station (which is attached to a Citgo gas station, which used to be a Coastal, and it's fairly small on a corner so you might not notice that there is in fact a garage there too) have never treated me like I was a nuisance. (Imagine that, I've had mechanics in the past who consider a paying customer to be an inconvenience.) They never hesitate to get down and dirty and figure out what the problem du jour is, fix it right, and price their work fairly. If you've ever been jerked around or your life imperiled by negligent workmanship, then hightail it to Torkom's.
