He was truly the light at the end of the tunnel for my hair-pulling stress filled week of dealing with mannerless car salesmen and the sudden loss of my best friend (my cat). To say the least, he went above and BEYOND his duties at his job and it was amazing to be blessed by someone who actually cares about giving the best customer service. Nigel made me feel seen & valued. He kept me up to date on wait times, etc. Nigel had amazing customer service and is a great face of this organization! It's easy to see that he takes pride in his work and he has a great attitude. Please keep Nigel! Markie also provided wonderful support and assistance. She was very knowledgeable about everything Golden 1. She possesses great customer service skills and her disarming demeanor really lends to that. Legally or a consumer protection agency. And for people to be alert when you go to this location to use the ATM machine. On Tuesday December 23rd, around 7:50 I went to this location to get $800 to go buy Christmas presents for my family. The atm machine seemed to have trouble getting the money out, after almost a min or so. The machine says an error has occurred and cancels the transaction. I move on to the next ATM machine to get my $800 dollars, and the ATM machine says I'm Maxed out on my cash take out for the day. I check my app & it shows that I took the $800 out, at that point I knew this would be a nightmare and take a few days to get my money. I go back to the first ATM machine thinking the money is stuck in there. I get $20 out just to see what would happen. The $20 came out no issue. So I assumed the next day my money will be in my account. I called in at that moment but was closed, called in the next day and they explained to me the ATM detected an issue and initiated the process to return the money to my account & had to wait 7-10 days to see my money in my account. 7 days later I call, go through the same all process explaining AGAIN, and I get transferred to the FRAUD department. Now I'm committing fraud claiming my own money?... the fraud guy says there's no fraud there since the machine detected an issue. I get transferred to claims AGAIN, the tell me one more time the process will take 7-10 days AGAIN, after admitting the machine had an issue. It's going on 2 weeks now, went twice to the branch and asked for the GM, the employees REFUSED to get the GM out to talk to me. An acting assistant manager came to me the 3rd time I went. She was cool & seemed to willing to help. But at that point I'm over it. I just want my money so I cancel my accounts there and end this nightmare. after that they admittedly said it was their mistake & not sure why it's taking long. & pretty much refusing to give me the money at that moment. I walked out again with no answers or not my money into my account. At that point What laws protect me there as a victim & a consumer? None, but if you owe them money and you're late. They over charge you with fees & calling multiple times a day & relatives trying to get their money. But when it's the consumers money they just don't care. Now, I'll be late on my mortgage because I used part of that money for my week expenses. After they said would take 7-10 days or less. Now it's almost two weeks and still no one can give me a solid answer or solution to this Issue. And to make it worse, I usually deposit my check there & after they had it on hold for 3-4 for days. The day it becomes available that Happened. Before that would take a business day for funds to be available every time I make a deposit. But at this point they refusing to give me my money and I know there's a way I can file a complaint locally, state & federal level. And I won't stop now. Now seeking legal advice & willing to go the legal route if necessary.
