I was greeted warmly by two people when I walked in, and thanked by three people when I left. Unlike the big and impersonal bank I currently bank with, I didn't need an appointment to talk with a personal banker. Michele P., assistant customer service manager, immediately sat down with me and listened to the issue, explained the procedures, and phoned a second person to double check that this somewhat rare case was being handled correctly. Brochures were easily accessible for me to peruse while I waited a few minutes. The matter will likely take a few days to a week to process, but I felt well taken care of, and Michele plans to follow up with me later today or tomorrow. She also answered several questions about new checking/savings accounts, and let me know that they offer auto loans, etc. Overall impressions of her: Exceptional customer service, knowledgeable, kind, patient and professional. Impression of the bank: Friendly employees! No waiting - which was great! - and it was interesting that everyone's voices echoed a bit, due to the tile floor in the lobby area (there could be carpet other places; I didn't notice). The branch location is centrally located off 11th St. at Central, and is slightly hard to get to due to the busy intersection, but there's a good sized parking lot with ample parking. I was so impressed, I'll tell anyone I can about this place. And when it comes time to open a new account someplace, for myself or a family member, I'll remember the positive impressions I received and may bring my business here. The interior was very clean, the stack was respectful and helpful, and overall provided a seamless experience. Parking at this location can be tough because it is a busy shopping center, but it is much cleaner and way nicer than the other location in town. I actually drive further to get to this location, but prefer it over the one on 11th St. Definitely recommend using this branch if you bank with Wells Fargo. You'll have a much better experience.

Most of my banking is done online but just recently I bought a second home and on rare occasion NEEDED them for a trivial wire transfer. I can tell you that this branch stinks. I walked in and sat down; I was then told that the ONLY person that knows how to do a wire transfer was busy and they sent me to another branch! Seriously! One person in the whole Bank knows how to do a transfer! I went to the other Tracy branch and service was worse. 3 stars only because I enjoy the apps, mobile and online banking. I will probably be switching over to Credit Union as they did a horrible job the few times I actually needed a branch. I went in to open a youth checking/savings account for my 16yo. They told me they have 2 business bankers but they both had appointments at 9:30 so they couldn't help us until the afternoon. They said it would take 45 mins to open a new account. We do all our banking with Chase, it's crazy that I have to make an appointment for something as simple as a kids account, the teller was unwilling to be helpful or even ask a banker if we can smash it out quickly. Terrible customer service
