Typical Liquor/Convenience Store. They mainly carry liquor, beer and sodas. Is always quick to stop here. Next to a gas station and Jack in the Box there is also a buffet next to it. A little concerned about it being next to Karts n Golf since kids are around but I am sure they don't allow them to come in or watch them closely. They are also open late for you late night drinkers.

Trader Joe has a lot of Harvest fall items and Halloween theme merchandises …read more Love the cute little plants by the front door. They looked like skeleton face , whole bode of skeleton in a white bath tub , black cat with giant eyes and Mexican patten for the Harvest Festival. There are sections for new items and seasonal items . I tried their sample display for the Autumnal Harvest soup . It is creamy tomato base with pumpkin and butter squash . Very rich and aromatic. They too it off with cornbread crispy ( sold in a bag ) . Very satisfying and tasty. Root beer flavored float pieces snacks : it is a vanilla sandwich cookie pieces with popping candies ! It will surely be fun to taste one ! Dark Colombia chocolate sticks with crispy morsels of puff rice are the right size to satisfy the craving for a sweet snack with a little bit of crunch ! Tom Yum seasoned snack mix Pumpkin spice rooibos with herbal blend tea All the new and fun stuffs. Must go in to take a look ! Happy Harvest Festival & Happy Halloween .

For a Monday morning it was very busy! We especially enjoyed this particular visit because of our friendly and engaging cashier, who joked about the trendy canvas bags that everyone is lusting after... Not me! Our favorite is the foldable tote bag!

This particular Safeway is very interesting. It's the only one nearby us so I guess I will have to…read moreget used to it but there's two entrances. One on the left-hand side and one on the right hand side. I always park my car on the left-hand side because there seems to be a number of homeless people that hang out within the franchise Starbucks inside the Safeway, which is on the right hand side. I don't want to walk by them or smell them, granted there's always a security guard there I don't need the extra time to be bothered. At 7 PM at the Safeway, they always lock the left-hand side door. So definitely do not park on the left-hand side after they lock the door because then you have to walk out on the right hand side by all the smelly homeless people that will beg and ask for money. It's rather frustrating for me being a single woman and shopping with my son. This particular day I found their fish selection rather interesting since I always eat raw caught or Line caught items. I saw that this particular salmon actually stated it was dyed red or pink. I decided to take a picture of it so you could see the color versus the farmed fish, which this one probably looked like before it was dyed anyways. Other than that door locking at 7 PM issue the store is pretty well kept and minus all the crazy inflation prices. I guess things are around the same price as everywhere else. Lol.

I frequent this Safeway about once a month when there is a good deal to take advantage of so I came…read moreto this location today to pickup 4 corns for $1 and Beef Chuck flanken ribs for $6.99/lb. I have come for the ribs deal in the past but every time, they have either run out or what's left is big strips of fat on bones. I came to the meat department and was 2nd in line for the butcher. The first person was waiting for the butcher to finish slicing the flanken ribs so she could choose the packages she wanted. Once the butcher finished and put the ribs in the open fridge, she chose what she wanted and left the rest that had little meat and mostly fat. I decided to go back to the butcher and wait when shortly after, an employee approached me with the name tag "Noel". He asked if I needed help and I told him I was waiting for the butcher so I could ask them to slice up some more ribs. Noel looked at where the leftover ribs were and had a condescending tone and said to me, "there are no more in the fridge?" I explained that I was waiting for the butcher to come back because I didn't want just fat and bones. He snarkily said "They all have fat, they are chuck, what do you expect? Well, they are at lunch, you will have to wait a while". I had my 4 year old daughter with me and I said "I have time, I will wait". He then went on to do whatever work he needed to do, checking temps of the frozen section and fridges with a thermometer while I waited there. He went to the back and I could hear him talking about me to the butcher and I could hear his abhorrent tone about me waiting for a better quality cut. 10 min later he goes to the meat rack in the back and uses the meat wrapping machine to wrap some more ribs that were already cut and in trays. He puts them on a tray and puts the tray on the butcher window and condescendingly repeats himself "They all have fat, they are chuck." I wanted to tell him about my experience in the past and that since I had time today I didn't mind waiting, but my 4 year old was there and I just wanted to pick up the groceries and take her home. As I was picking the ones I wanted, he again gave me attitude and said "You know it's 2 max as the limit." I said "Ok, I got it.", He said with an angry face "What?" So I said it louder, "Yes, I got it". Little did he know, my wife also has an account so I used her number since she was at work and was unable to be present. But I didn't feel like he was worthy of an explanation to begin with. I had to bite my tongue multiple times while he made sarcastic, snarky, condescending comments to me, and about me to his butcher, then at me again. If I didn't have my daughter with me, I would have been more vocal, but in this situation I decided to put my complaint online. In summary, I am local and I used to frequent this grocery store, but after Noel's demeanor, I will not be coming back. I will take my business elsewhere and will recommend my friends to not come to this location. If Noel is at a job to provide service to the public, he shouldn't be. He should be an overnight stocker where he doesn't deal with people because he has no people skills. His sarcastic remarks and condescension was behavior that I was taken aback by, and it was the first time that I EVER had this type of experience in a grocery store, and I'm 42 years old. I will be posting this on Google and Yelp as well. I'm sure he will see this post and hopefully he can rethink about his behavior and learn from it, and be better because of it.
