We got about $60 worth of cooked foods to try at home. First, the cucumbers in their Gimbap was rotten. Had to throw out $12 of food. It seriously gave the family stomachaches. Their bulgogi bowl is ground beef rather than sliced beef. Again, I feel like they are using meats that have gone bad or on the verge of going bad. Then we got Spam Musubi, and the rice was mushy with a weird taste. How can you f**k up steam rice?! We were so disappointed, we went to Kukje in Daly City the next day as a comparison, and not only it was cheaper, but everything tasted fresh. We will not be buying the premade foods from Megamart from now.

We really enjoyed the cheese, meat was decent, and spinach was good as well. As soon as you walk into the store, you smell the fatayer which was very nice. I wish they sold manaeesh or sfeeha but when I asked they said they don't make them.

Because you can't get freshly baked Middle Eastern / Levantine pastries just anywhere in the Bay! If you've been to a Yemeni coffeeshop in the Bay Area, especially if it's in the East Bay, you might have seen this bakery's fatayer and manakeesh sold there since they supply a bunch of the coffeeshops. They bake all day and you can stop by at any given time and find freshly made pastries sitting on the table by the bakery section. In terms of selection, they generally have different types of fatayer (spinach, beef, chicken, cheese, more recently potato), manakeesh, lahm bi ajeen (soft flatbreads with a meat and tomato mixture on top), and chicken musakhan rolls. They don't always have every item available but they'll let you know what's in the oven. The pastries are 6 for $15 currently. They freeze well too. I've been here often and the customer service has always been friendly.

This review is long overdue! I frequently shop at Osaka Marketplace and always enjoy coming here…read more The only downside is the parking, which can be difficult due to the congestion in the plaza. It's a very popular plaza with lots of restaurants and businesses, so parking can get pretty hectic. With that being said, I love that Osaka Marketplace has just about everything you need--from fresh seafood and sushi to mochi donuts, snacks, pastries, drinks, prepared meals, and so much more. There's always something new and delicious to discover! The store itself is very clean, tidy, and well-organized. Everything is easy to find, and the staff are always kind, polite, and helpful. I would definitely recommend Osaka Marketplace and will be back again very soon!

Most of their locations are now rebranded as Hashi Market which is an improved grocery store with a bit more variety and some Japanese items. Driving up to this location, you will still see the old Marina Grocery Store as they are transitioning to Hashi Market. At least the shopping carts do read Hashi Market on them. It looks like a legit grocery store and it's still very spacious with lots of selections inside. I saw more cash registers opened and operating during lunch hours. Convenient and walkable plaza. Cashiers are busy and occupied as usual. It does get crowded at times, especially in this plaza surrounded by high population residents and apartment units nearby. I still see elderly seniors walking around and walking home. The Japanese foods/snacks section is not bad at all. I definitely found some good items on sale today. Give Hashi Market some time to rebrand and pick up the pace. Hashi Market in Milpitas is also looking much better nowadays. This place is convenient is you're in the area for sure. There's plenty of good restaurants and nearby shops to browse around or you can also cross the streets to the next plazas all around. Looking good for now.

Recommendation to 99 Ranch Market - if you want to do something like this well, it would have been paramount that you consulted Southeast Asian restaurants and even home chefs that make these food so you could have something decent.

Decent prices and good looking pastries. Still feels like a startup though. Cashiers are training and doing their jobs. Hashi Market has been upgrading too. I purchased 3 large bags of dumplings for only $10. It was a good sale this weekend. Celery pork/leek-scallions pork/cilantro chicken/etc. I think their fresh vegetables have dropped in prices too ($1.49-$2.99 per lbs.). Finally. I come here for tofu selections too. You can also find good 1liter healthy coconut water for under $3 each now. Hashi Market is slowly improving and training more new employees inside. This grocery store is convenient and they have made the aisles more spacious to walk around. Food deli area is still operating. I think the place is much better now compared to when it was the Marina grocery store in past years. Japanese products are showing up more and things are more positive here. I'll be back to try a few more breads/buns. $1.99 for good looking breads is cheap and decent here.

They said they had to check the camera and could not do it at that time, so they asked me to go home and wait for a call ( pork feet were sold by the pound, it would be very unlikely for two separate purchases to have the exact same weight and price ) 5 DAYS later, they finally called and said they had checked the camera and would refund me when I came back. I did get my money back, but I think the way they handled such a simple mistake was very unprofessional and wasted a lot of my time I had a similar issue at 99 Ranch with a more expensive item, and they refunded me immediately If you shop here, check your receipt before leaving to avoid wasting time like I did
