I stopped by to pick up some unique Asian groceries since I was in the area. It has most of the Asian brands that you can't find in a normal US supermarket, but the selection is smaller compare to other Asian supermarket chains in the area. The floor seems dirty and the smell is pretty strong. The clerk was a bit cold and didn't help me put my groceries into bags at all during check out. I will be hesitant to return.

Could be better but still love going here because it's the closest place to get a crazy variety of different asian stuff we grew up with. You'll find chinese stuff but also thai, philipino, vietnamese, korean, japanese, etc... they will carry a lot of snacks and brands you will only find at asian markets. We love the crazy amount of rice and noodles you can find and are always trying different brands. The vegetables and fruit section will have a bunch of stuff you can also find in asian markets as well. We also find stuff here like Sriracha where the packaging design and taste haven't changed at all in decades like oyster sauce, canned dace fish, etc... When you walk in during the morning there will be an incense smell and its pretty chilly near the back where the live fish are and the meat. We don't really get meat or fish here since the quality doesn't seem that great. The salmon we got one time didn't seem very good quality, the chicken we got for chicken soup seemed OK but the soup had way more yellow oil than chicken from other places.

Last week, I bought 2 markerels from this market. They looked good outside, but when I washed the fish, the meat loosened up and fell apart. I did not think of writing a review so I did not take a picture of them. I had to throw them away in concern of safety. 3 days ago, I bought a punch of green vegetables. Speechless when I opened it. Stuck in center are grass, dead/bruised/yellow leaves. Unbelievable. Like a joke. I feel cheated. Ruin my dinner plan.

Stopped by after lunch at Tung Kee. I was impressed with the selection of New Year's snacks and snacks in general. They had everything that a normal supermarket has. Produce, meat and seafood looked fresh. Their meat section was a little smaller than most stores. There's plenty of parking and the checkout process was quick and easy. Remember to bring your reusable bags since they'll charge you for them!

Price is higher, not as much stuff as before. Feel like a closing store. Will not recommend for grocery shopping.

This used to be Marina, a fairly big Asian grocery store. Actually the outside still says "marina"…read morebut the receipt says Hashi and there are enough changes that tells me some slight changes have been made. This is actually my 'preferred' Asian grocery for my area...now. The produce department is significantly better/fresher than when it was Marina. Back in the Marina days, the produce were borderline sketchy, cheap yes, but if you found something, you better use/eat it within a few days, or else it may rot on you. Not here, most choices now seem fresher and sturdier. And still quite cheap, especially if there is a sale. 80% of my haul here is from this produce area to stock my kitchen for the week of a vegetable/fruit rich diet/habbit. I'm loving it! The Seafood area still seems quite the same. Marina was not bad in this department and Hashi is maintaining the choices and quality. I'll usually get something from the fresh seafood case as well. But if I want something more exotic or more premium then I'll have to go to another city like New Sang Chong in San Leandro or HMart in the south bay. The Meat section seems the same, maybe a tad cleaner in processing than when it was Marina. Things seem more cleanly cut and stacked. And the bulk meat you get by the pound behind the case are pretty darn inexpensive, especially for pork and chicken. If making a big family style dish I'll go here over Lucky's or Safeway most times. Pork Spareribs for $3/lb, boneless skinless chicken breast for $2/lb on special, and $3/lb for ground beef, ka mon brah, just can't beat those! Dry Goods the same as Marina, just maybe stocked a bit more. Marina had more holes/gaps in their shelves. So I have been coming in more since the changes cuz they have been working for me. So a positive change in the neighborhood...I gotta show my support and approval.

Hashi Market opened 7 months ago where Marina Market was and still is in name only. (Exterior name…read morehasn't changed). Very busy parking lot as usual. Delivery trucks parked in the passing lanes didn't help. Curious to view changes if any. The deli and eatery section isn't open. Only a travel agency occupies a vendor space. Entire left side isn't utilized. Big aisles with most shelves filled with goods at reasonable prices. Mexican, American, and Asian products sold. Medicines & hard liquors sold in front. Special section with products for Lunar New Year also in front. Sad to see only one register open. Didn't look for specials. May return at a future date when I have more time. Majority of shoppers were Chinese.

Plus sometimes they don't carry what im looking for. Weee always has what im looking for. Most of the delivery drivers are very friendly. Customer service is super helpful and friendly. I've had a few problems but they always take care of it and are always apologetic. I seriously can't complain. I absolutely love Weee and I'll be a customer for life.

This order was a mix of frozen staples, fresh produce, and pantry essentials, and overall it really reminded me why I keep coming back. Mommy's Gourmet Pork Rice Dumpling with Salted Egg Yolk (Frozen, 12 oz) This is one of those comfort foods I grew up eating, so I'm pretty picky about it. Among all the frozen zongzi I've tried from supermarkets, this one is hands down my favorite. The glutinous rice is fragrant and sticky without being gummy, and the filling is generous. Inside you get lean pork, Chinese sausage, and a salted egg yolk that adds that rich, savory bite. I like that the pork isn't overly fatty, but there's still enough richness to make it satisfying. The flavor is balanced and not overly salty, and if I want more punch, I just add a little soy sauce. It's not quite as good as homemade zongzi from family, but the convenience more than makes up for it. You get two dumplings per pack, which makes it perfect for a quick meal or snack when a craving hits. Yellowtail Hamachi Premium Loin, Sashimi Grade (1-1.4 lb) This was the standout of the order. The piece I received was large, very fresh, and exceeded my expectations. The texture was clean and firm, with a buttery richness that made it perfect for sashimi. We sliced it thin and ate it simply with soy sauce and wasabi, and it honestly tasted comparable to what you'd get at a good sushi restaurant, but at a much better price. Because the portion is so big, it's easy to divide it into multiple meals. I've used it for sashimi, poke bowls, and even lightly seared slices, and it held up beautifully. This is one of those items that feels like a luxury but is actually very practical if you like making Japanese-style dishes at home. Takaokaya Sushihane Roasted Seaweed (10 sheets) This is my go-to nori for sushi and rice rolls. The sheets are crisp, evenly roasted, and strong enough that they don't tear easily when wrapping sushi or onigiri. I also like cutting them into strips for noodles or rice bowls. The texture stays crunchy and the flavor is clean, not bitter. A very reliable product that lasts a long time and works for everything from sushi nights to quick snacks. S&B Wasabi Tube, Family Size (3.17 oz) I usually buy the small tubes, but this larger size just makes more sense. The flavor is sharp and spicy without tasting artificial, and it pairs perfectly with sashimi, sushi, and seafood. A little goes a long way, and it keeps well in the fridge. It's also cheaper than buying multiple small tubes, so this is an easy upgrade if you use wasabi often. Song Hay Double Happiness Navel Oranges (10 lb) This was a huge bag, and most of the oranges were sweet, juicy, and refreshing. They're great as a daily fruit or for sharing with family. Like with most large produce orders, there were a couple that weren't perfect, but overall the quality was solid, especially for the price. When they're good, they're very sweet and satisfying. Organic Purple Sweet Potatoes (3 lb) These are a staple in my kitchen. The potatoes were small to medium in size, which actually makes them easier to cook. They're naturally sweet, soft when baked or steamed, and very filling. I like roasting a batch and keeping them in the fridge for quick breakfasts or snacks. They're healthy, versatile, and consistently good. Sand Pears / Crystal Pears (about 5 lb) These pears are juicy, crisp, and lightly sweet. I like eating them fresh, but they're also great cooked with rock sugar if you're craving something soothing. The flesh is tender and refreshing, and when they're good, they're really enjoyable. A nice balance between sweetness and freshness. CJ Bibigo Chicken & Vegetable Dumplings (Frozen, 1.5 lb) These are a freezer staple for busy days. The wrappers are thin, the filling is well-seasoned, and they're easy to cook whether you steam, boil, or pan-fry them. I like them best pan-fried with a crispy bottom. They're flavorful without being greasy and make a quick, satisfying meal. Twin Marquis Pork & Chive Dumplings (Frozen, 1 lb) This is my favorite dumpling flavor, and this brand does it well. The chive flavor is fragrant, the pork is juicy, and the wrappers have a nice chew without falling apart. They work well boiled or pan-fried and are perfect to keep on hand for dumpling soup or quick dinners. Wei-Chuan Pork & Shrimp Wontons (Frozen) These are my go-to for wonton soup. The filling actually has noticeable shrimp, not just pork pretending to be shrimp. They come with soup packets, which makes it very easy to throw together a comforting bowl with noodles and vegetables. Super convenient and very satisfying. Weee continues to be one of my favorite online grocery options. The convenience of ordering Asian ingredients, the wide selection, and the quality of most products make it worth it.
