The adorable puppies will make you stop at the windows to watch these playful pups romp around, rather clumsily too. The caramel or golden colored golden doodle looking dog is the cutest to me, super playful and energetic. I could watch this dog for a while. He was playing with the other two pups. My hubby, he liked the white fluffy dogs that were sleeping even with all of the folks watching them. He said they would be more chilled out and wouldn't require as much attention. It was a fun distraction from our hour or so of window shopping for this and that. This store front is located by the east parking area and by the shake shack.

I have visited this store to see if I could pick up some gifts for my dog on multiple occasions considering it is in same mall I do my cloths and Christmas gift shopping. They keep flagging my review for removable, but that's not what yelp is about. It's about all types of reviews. You can't keep flagging every bad review to make your company look perfect. How can you say I have not visited this location when I have a check in? This place is not affordable and they do not have rescue dogs. You can get similar and if not the same toys, carriages, and treats online for a fraction of the price. Most stores partner with local shelters but this location uses breeders. They also do not have many options for vegan/vegetarian treats/food. You get better customer service at a Petco/PetSmart. Customers should be able to expect a more customized experience here since it's not a chain store and the products are way more expensive.

I recently bought my first puppy ever about 2 weeks ago and my life has changed for the better tremendously because of this store. I have always wanted to adopt a puppy, but when the opportunity came once I passed the store I couldn't give it up. I am highly satisfied with the help I have received from the staff since my puppy came home. Krystal, who gave me lots of insight on the dog I was interested in, Alison who provided me with all the information I needed and helped me purchase him and Yoli who has helped me treat his minor problems. I thank all these wonderful ladies for helping me out, especially with all the questions I had lol. I highly recommend anyone to come to the store and check these puppies out!

Ollie on his first night home!

We bought our Ollie here (a miniature golden doodle) and he's great! The staff was an amazing help, as I had come in with my girlfriend on multiple occasions, but hadn't pulled the trigger. Also the Veterinarian they recommended is great as well. I'll definitely continue to buy my supplies from there to support their business, and maybe even get a friend for my pup someday!

We recently brought home our 3rd pup from this store, a tri-color Cavalier King Charles Spaniel. Our first two are happy, healthy, and nicely tempered (A Blenheim Cavi and a Maltese). They are 4 and 2 years old, and our new little guy is 3 months. The pups seem well cared for and they all came home used to a crate, which is great for training. Our new pup has slept through the night in his crate next to me from day one. To this day, my other dogs find their crates to be a safe place and they sometimes lay in them to rest all on their own. The vet who cares for the pups at the store is very nice and does not over vaccinate or push unnecessary vaccines or medications. The prices are fair based on the market IMO. All puppies and dogs should have homes, even ones from pet stores, and IMO this store is a good one.

Our Baby Boy Ritz Hairless Chinese Crested

My husband and I got our beautiful Chinese Crested at 5m old from Fashionable Pets. He has been the best gift we could ask for, he is a loving and loyal dog. It's been 4yrs that we've had him and he has been healthy, energetic and he's the best to snuggle with. When we received him from Fashionable Pets they provided us with all the appropriate certifications and authentications from the breeder, veterinarian as well as the American Kennel Club. When we've had questions about his diet and skin care issues ( if your familiar with the breed, the hairless crested have very sensitive skin) they've been just a phone call away to assist and make recommendations on food choices and skin treatments. We could not ask for a better pet, and if I ever where to purchase another dog Fashionable Pets is where I would look first!

    What are the prices?

It depends on the dog. Prices can range from 1,500 to almost 4,000 and the pets come with their own cage, food and toys which is also included in the price.

Chris Brown, the instructor, taught us both SO MUCH in these six classes. He's very patient (and funny) which made a huge difference. He let us learn at our own pace and would gently remind us of things we've covered over the weeks. I saw a big difference in my stress level (decreasing) while trying to do the homework and practicing our new skills. The classes covered commands, safety information and tips that only a life long dog owner could give you. we would also get one-on-one time as well as demonstrations and practice 'walks' around the store to see how our dogs did outside of the classroom. Chris really gave me back the confidence I needed to help my dog really know the commands, not just "know of" them...as he says. The class really covered so much territory in six one hour sessions. The price is very reasonable and I'm going to continue with the next two classes. Even if you've had your dog a while I highly recommend the classes. You will learn so much about caring for a dog...not just commands.

I bought the seasoning which didn't help at all and then never came back. Now that it's -20 degrees in NY, Petopia is on my way home from work and with the closing of Petco, I had no choice but to drop in again. My experience was completely different this time. The sweet girl working that evening talked to me about my puppy's needs, his picky eating, the different brands of dog food, why vets recommend what they do, she gave me some free samples, and directed me to items on sale. I ended up coming back three days in a row to purchase more of her suggestions to give to my dog. The verdict just in case you were curious: Evangers wet food ended up being the only thing he'd eat after we sampled tons of other types including Blue, Science Diet, Natures Balance, Wellness, Weruvia, etc..

Shortages everywhere, food, toys, even the simple essentials were either picked over or missing entirely. Choices of doggie t-shirts were limited to large dogs, female styles, and doggie sweatshirts, all of the small sizes were gone. Nothing weather appropriate. Staff was polite enough, but no one seemed to know when or if items would be restocked. For such a big-name pet store in a busy Manhattan neighborhood, I expected a fuller selection and better inventory management. Ended up leaving with nothing, waste of time, gas and parking. A bit frustrating when you're trying to shop local instead of ordering online. However this is making me reconsider. THEY KEPT MY MERCHANDISE, NEVER GAVE ME THE CREDIT, and are now denying the exchange ever happened. That alone should tell you everything you need to know about how this business treats customers. And the store itself? EMBARRASSING. The place looks like it has been completely neglected. Tanks full of algae, dead fish, barely any inventory on the shelves, and an awful smell throughout the store. For a business that's supposed to sell and care for animals, the condition of what I personally saw was disturbing. Then there's the customer service -- absolutely HORRIBLE. When I tried to address the situation, instead of taking responsibility or trying to resolve it, I was treated like shit. I've rarely dealt with a business that showed this little respect for a customer. Pet's Place II: You don't get to take someone's merchandise, promise credit in exchange, then keep the merchandise AND refuse the credit. If you're not going to honor the exchange, GIVE ME MY PROPERTY BACK. I would NEVER bring merchandise here for trade or credit again, and after seeing the condition of this store and experiencing the way they treat customers, I wouldn't spend a dime here either. AVOID THIS PLACE. There are plenty of pet stores that actually value their customers, maintain their stores, and stand behind what they agree to.

Our bond was truly special, and I will always be grateful that they brought her into my life. That said, I do have concerns about the health of the hedgehogs they sell. Hazelnut came home with rhinitis and severe diarrhea and needed antibiotics. I even asked if her completely liquid stool was normal (since I was such a newbie to hedgies and had no idea what was and wasn't normal) and was told "yes" by the store; which was very clearly not true... lol. Later in life, she developed a devastating neurological disease that eventually left her paralyzed and requiring around-the-clock care. I would do it all again for her without hesitation, but my experience truly taught me how important responsible breeding and lineage tracking are. Neurological diseases such as Wobbly Hedgehog Syndrome have a suspected hereditary component. Because captive pet populations stem from limited bloodlines and can involve frequent inbreeding, a heritable predisposition remains a plausible explanation, especially since WHS has not been documented in wild African pygmy hedgehogs. For anyone considering a hedgehog, I would personally recommend going through a reputable breeder who can provide documented lineage, health records, and information showing the line is free of known neurological disease. These animals deserve to be bred responsibly, with their health and well-being coming before profit. No hedgehog should have to suffer because proper breeding practices and genetic health weren't prioritized.
