It was most unfortunate I did not have a good experience at this business. Especially since I live a few miles away. I really wanted to find a reliable, pedicure, place near by. From the time I arrived until the time I left I did not feel as though I was welcome nor did I feel I had any added value to this business. I had set up an appointment for myself and as a treat for a friend. My friend on the other hand was treated quite well, engaged with, and what actually seemed above and beyond. Which I was delighted about because I wanted her to feel special. On the other hand there were feelings of sadness because I wasn't feeling why there was such negative actions towards me. When the technician started to do my pedicure she got quite rough with my right foot. I tried to explain to her that the inside of my foot was an appliance with my sling covering it. That it didn't bend like a normal foot. She jerked my foot down causing excoriating pain. Then I tried to explain my large toe joint is a bionic joint. And can't be bent back to far. She literally pushed my toe back causing pain. I then stopped saying anything and just wanted the pedicure to be over. During the toe nail clipping she cut it too short catching the skin and caused my large toe to bleed. She put a liquid on it to stop the bleeding g which I read on the bottle as some kind of GLUE! All I could do is get done, pay for each pedicure, and get out of that building as fast as I could because I just wanted to cry. I asked my friend if it was just me and was being overly sensitive? She said no that she was very surprised with the treatment. Again, very unfortunate all of the way around. And to this day I truly have no idea what happened. I am elderly but I am not a Karen of any type. So buyer beware if it is a first time visit for you. read more

Not a fan of paying for shitty work. This place is absolutely HORRID and it needs to be shut the fuck down. I got a full set 2 weeks ago because my nail tech wasnt available and that set was disgustingly terrible fast forward to today I go to get the set removed but i decide to let someone new fill it and he was even worse than the guy before. Rushing and refusing to give me what I asked for. I HATE this place. 40 for some bullshit nude nails because he couldnt do a simple deep french tip. read more

It's no wonder they weren't busy. Absolutely avoid at all costs. I have acrylic on my big toe and she was about to paint over it without even doing a fill, she didn't shape my nails. Just here to get you in and out. I asked for shape and a fill and she was so bothered. She did the fill, didn't even bother to shape or buff. Just went straight in with the gel. Never coming here again read more

I had the worst experience. I went to get a pedicure because it was my birthday and I was supposed to be going out of town that weekend. The man that was giving me a pedicure cut me multiple times underneath the nail as well. I walked out with three different cuts there was blood everywhere and now my toe is swollen red and hot so I'm sure I have an infection. read more

DO NOT GO HERE! Went in for a new set and pedicure. First, the pedicure. ...I asked for them to cut my nails short, the man barely trimmed any off. He also used the electric filer to take off my regular polish, leaving white marks on my nails. Then only scrubbed my heels not the rest of my foot. The paint job is so thin you can almost see thru it. Next the nails, I really just think the picture says it all. I don't know understand how the nail tech can think this is acceptable. They are lumpy, thick and just hideous. I wish I would of spoke up!!! So please, save your money and go elsewhere. Oh and this color is supposed to be neon yellow...lol I should of went back and spoke to the manager but do not want to step foot back in this place.  I already got them fixed by a very very good nail tech. read more

Communication is everything first and foremost . I asked for a spa pedicure and a polish change. I believe displays changed ownership. I've been there in the past maybe three or four years ago. My regular spot was booked so it's good to have a back up however, the pedicure could have been better . But it's the nail polish for me. Polish was not smooth. She didn't take her time she didn't put any oil around my cuticles Stevie Wonder conceit. This wasn't right, so I just wanna be back there and I do not recommend it. There were some other issues with some other clients as well so as I mentioned communication is everything so if you do decide to take a chance and go there, make sure before you sit down in the chair you have someone that understands and speaks English know exactly what it is that you want. read more

Nah they dead wrong for putting MMA on my nails it's bad and could be harmful to your nails and for your health risk. You should be more aware and ask what they're putting on your nails. I didn't know till I got a soak off elsewhere and got informed it was MMA. 1star for how they greeted me but other than that I don't think it's appropriate for them to put that on peoples nails. #unprofessional read more

Not from Madera, I'm here for the weekend but I really needed my nails done, so I came here. Employees were very nice and welcoming. My gel manicure was $30. The shape of my nails are exactly what I asked for. The nail polish is slightly bumpy throughout my nails. I also wish they would've done 1 more coat of polish, since it was a lighter color. Not sure I would ever come back, but very good hospitality! read more

I was visiting family from out of town and stopped by this nail salon. The salon was really clean. It looks like after Covid they started using the disposable bags for pedicures. I told them I was in a bit of a rush and they immediately got started on my pedicure and then manicure. The person who did my pedicure was really careful. I told Tina I wanted an ombré manicure and she picked the best combo! I got so many compliments on it when I went back home and it lasted much longer than my other manicures. I'd highly recommend coming here! Everyone was nice and I got exactly what I wanted. read more

For one, I've been going here on and off since high school. I'm 21 now and I can see the inconsistency when it comes to quality. I always get my toes done, in my opinion the women do a better job and are more considerate of the after appearance of my toes . The real issue are their acrylic nails, I always show pictures in reference to what I want they come out like this f*$@!^ up lol. I do not have patience to argue with the techs on what I want when clearly the picture GUIDES you to what the client is wanting. He tried to cover up the warped polish which after 2 days it chipped as you can see in the photo. I wanted square and I got a bubble formation, NEVER coming back here again, I'll drive to fresno or merced for quality nails. read more

I usually like coming here for my acrylics. However the time before last I showed them 4 what appeared to be basic design and the guy told me "painted design looks trashy, their no good use stickers". Then last time I went I was at the salon exactly at 9am when their were suppose to open, no one showed up till 9:30 then the lady who opened the doors didn't do acrylics so I sat there waiting for a fill for at least an hour and when I finally got done I notice a few nails were crooked which I overlooked however later that night I felt severe burning and itching under one particular nail and I ignored it, the next day my finger was still burning itching and became swollen so I go to the doctor and they removed the nail to find not only was the nail glued to the cuticle and the left side of my skin but it was INFECTED!!! I wish I could give less than one star. After seeing my nails, I want to cry. The tech was so rough with me. They filed off my nails completely. I said ouch several times because of how rough they were, and it was so obvious they just wanted you in and out so they could get to the next person. I've never seen my cuticles look so terrible. I'm so disappointed in my nails. The first thing I noticed when I step foot in the nail salon is the smell and I get it's a nail salon but it smelled so bad. After about 35 minutes they attended me there was a lot of people though. The man who attended me looked at me and said aren't you a little to you g to be getting your nails done. And that made a little disappointed. And I said no I'm 15 and I'm getting my nails done for my friend sweet sixteen. And he said no your not your like 11. And I was so mad I told the man can you just do my nails please and he said yes so I texted my mom who was sitting done waiting for me to get my nails done. The nails did take 2 hours and they were just simple coffin nails yellow with some silver glitter. So I did not understand why it took so long. The guy cute my skin read more

I was visiting from out of town and decided to treat my best friend to a mani and pedi for her birthday. It could have been that they were just busy that weekend, but the quality of their work was disappointing despite being there for 4 hours. I got gel on acrylics and they are very thick and misshapen. I received no massage for either of my treatments. My nails hurt. Ad my cuticles and skin around my nails look worse then when I went in. My friend and I came in at the same time and we were seen at different times and they had no system for checking people in and rotating them around. The place smelled heavily of chemicals, which was nauseating. Even though I wasn't satisfied with the experience, or of how my nails turned out. My best friend's nails turned out amazing, which was good enough for me since we went there for her. Also, make sure to pay with cash... I left paying for everything while my friend finished up and they asked her to pay more. I paid for everything including a 20% tip and they asked for another $10 for rhinestones? She gave them a $20 bill and they didn't give her change. Pay with cash and separately after each service. That way you know what you are paying for and the proper person receives their tip. read more

Fastest pedicure I have ever had. The massage was two seconds and pedicure was horrible quality.

First visit paid for a full set. Oh happy happy joy joy. 5-10 minutes am asked if I wanted gel nails. My response was no. Nail tech handled my hands in a different manner. He asked another nail lady to take over. He was clearly upset. In a way I was glad I did not understand what he was saying. My fingers were in pain for about 5 days. My natural nails were over filed. Second visit brought my niece here for her b-day. She was curious as to what a pedicure was. Nail lady was extremely rough. My niece did not cry in the shop. She waited till we went to the car. Sad when a child perceives they were saying nasty things about clients in their language. Very disappointing experience. I will not ever return to this place. read more

My wife wanted to treat me to a men's pedicure. She has been there a few times for manicures and pedicures. I have had pedicures before and agreed to try Fashion Nails since it was near our house. The lady that I got to do my nails cut my big toe nail so bad that it started to bleed. When she was done with the other nails I was sill bleeding and in pain. I went to the front counter to pay and another young lady charged me $30.00. I told her my wife only pays about $20.00 for her pedicure and she said No it's $30.00. DO NOT.... I repeat, DO NOT GO HERE. They are very unprofessional and unclean. I'm definitely going to call up the health department and have them inspect their place of business. Went here for pedicures with my sisters and they used the same tools on everyone and didn't sanitize anything! *~My cousin went there a week or so before me and ended up with a staff infection in her toe!~* They are very unsanitary and just want to spread the word before anyone dares to get their mani/pedi there.
