I love Fascinations and its good as it gets.. When you walk in u got the friendly staff that is there if u need to ask questions on certain things.. I took a friend in there since she was dating a guy that like to try new things. And of the things he wanted my friend to do was a BJ, she explained to me that she has never done one before and didn't know what to do, the first time she did it made her gag so she stopped...And the best place to take her was Fascinations to get info and see if there was something there that can help her out. i used to come here often back in 2012 with a few of my frineds and i used to really enjoy it , 3 years later nothing is or will , . Absolutely the worst Fascinations. Walked in did not see 1 employee, was not greeted, or even asked for my ID. I picked up a toy and some cleaner walked up to the front counter and left it up there. Walked over to lingerie picked up some more items and walked back to the counter. The girl must have been in the back because I did not see anyone for the first 15 minutes I was in the store. I probably would have spent a lot more had I felt comfortable to be in this location. I have worked retail at an adult store, I do understand that it is different than a regular reatil establishment, but I wont be shopping at this location anymore. Okay, so I moved to Phoenix recently from Orange County. I have to admit, I realize now that I was a little more than spoiled with OC's top scale sex shops. Looking around my new town (and surrounding areas!) all the shops looked sketchy, dirty, and overrated (especially the prices!!) so I gave up and started looking online. There I found Fascinations. This store is the closest thing to a ConRev I think we will ever see in this city. It is a seriously classy store, ESPECIALLY compared to....well... everything else I've found so far. Yes yes, it's one of the smaller Fascinations locations. (read that on Yelp before I arrived). I was pleasantly surprised to see how they dealt with the seemingly lack of space. Looking around the lingerie, I noticed that there were NO-I mean ZERO- cheap corsets, stockings, shirts, etc. Whoever is deciding the inventory of this location is a genius haha. instead of carrying "the usual", they decided to compensate for their lack of space by carrying only the best. They have the full spectrum of toys, everything from vibrating butt plugs to the latest and greatest technology (vibrator you can control from your smartphone, no matter how far away from the vibrator you are...think of the possibilities). They have a bunch of nice options in every style, and a few everyday options to choose from and compare to, as well. Enough about what kind of stuff they sell. A very integral part of a shop like this, is THE PEOPLE THAT WORK THERE. Duh! The best way I can put my experience, is that if you think this place is "weird", "overbearing", "theft-paranoid", etc etc.... take a closer look at yourself instead of focusing on the store. The gentleman behind the counter was respectful, knowledgeable, honest, and most importantly NOT INTIMIDATING! (no, not in a gay way). And I was asking some pretty kinky stuff... ("Hi, I'm looking for a large rabbit with an anal tickler?") The ONLY way you'll feel intimidated in this store is if you're embarrassed to go in, in the first place. That's a personal problem, not a flaw with the store. Yes, I've been asked creepy questions by clerks before, accused of stealing, and yes, even have been hit on by some (seriously) scary customers, in my history of sex shops. I did not have ONE of the MANY fabled sex-shop issues here. And as for the girls that are freaking out, saying "oh my god, I can't fit into ANY of these clothes!!!!! I hate this place!!!!" ... Try out one of their more expansive locations. Sex shops cater to their customers, and as it turns out.....most of the girls that come here to this specific location, incidentally, are freaking twigs. Myself? I'm a size 32 DD, and I have NEVER been so happy in a corset section!! I have NEVER been able to find a NICE quality, rationally priced corset in my true size until now. Like I said, the people that work here are VERY nice and nonjudgmental, and will probably order your size if you want something! So yeah. Thank you for the experience. I usually shop at Castle Megastore, but tonight my husband and I decided to try this fascinations. Compared to the Castle off of Deer Vally and I17 this place is a dump! Not only the facility but the people working there as well. I asked the employee about a particular "rabibit". She took a quick glance and informed me that she didn't have it. Then she asked me if there was something else I was interested in. I said no. From there on she started to bash the product I was looking for. Stating the material it is made out of is garbage, and that the reason they don't carry it anymore is because they received a lot of returns on it, as well as the manufacturer was going out of business.Extremely unprofessional... I purchased 1 item and left. When I got home I googled if the manufacturer was truly going out of business. And to no-surprise they aren't. The funny thing about the whole thing is, I already own the product and was only curious about how much they were selling it for. And the kicker... it is the best toy I have EVER purchased, haha! Furthermore, this store is dirty, small, their selection is sooooo limited, there porn selection is awful, and so was the employee. I will never shop there, and I will not recommend them to anyone! One visit here has made me a Castle customer for life! read more
